We recently built our DREAM HOME in historic St. Marys, starting with an adorable "cottage" garage apartment where we dwelled above the garage while building our home a short 50 steps away. After moving into our home, we have filled our little upstairs cottage frequently with friends and family. Now, we're opening it to visitors who would like a short or longer stay.

Our cottage is a VERY SPACIOUS 700+ square feet of "charm", including a small game/eating/office room off the great room. The bedroom is spacious with built-in drawers and closets; the bath has a walk-in shower with a built-in seat. The kitchen is fully loaded! Our property is gated and fully fenced.

We have two bikes available for cruising our wonderful little town and waterfront, which is located just a few blocks away. Catch the ferry to Cumberland Island there, as well as the NEW ferry to Fernandina, Fl. We love our new home and our wonderful little community, and would love to share it with you!

  • This place was amazing. A wonderful house to come home to from busy day trips in the hot sun. Our 5 year old loved the back yard to play baseball or run around. A perfect size for the 3 of us.   • We spent 5 nights at this beautiful and peaceful home away from home. This "garage apt" is very spacious and extremely well equipped and is beautifully decorated. We stayed at St. Mary's, Ga. in the evenings while we traveled throughout Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida during the day. Chip and Peggy are great hosts, very helpful and sweet. We loved staying here.

  • The cottage is charming and was more than just home from home. Everything is provided and it was a wrench to leave ! The owners went over and above to ensure our visit was enjoyable. Our cottage and the surroundings were just perfect. We so very much loved the coziness the cottage offered to the gardens laden with beautiful flowers and welcoming birdfeeders. Its the great getaway place for R&R as well as sightseeing the beautiful coastal islands.
