Come up to the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains and relax in our fully appointed retreat. Cozy yet spacious A-Frame cabin with 3 separate floors to enjoy. The first floor contains our fully appointed kitchen, dining area, 1/2 bath/ laundry room, living room w/wood burning stove and the indoor jacuzzi room.
On the 2nd floor you'll find a large, sunny room designed for families to enjoy each others company. Our antique game table swivels out and opens so families can gather and play with our full collection of board/table games! We also have a cozy rocking chair located near a book nook (stocked for the whole family to enjoy)! A single sized day bed, The cozy master bedroom with log bed and the full bath round out our second floor. Don't forget to enjoy the front and side decks.
Kick back in the hammock or fire up the BBQ and enjoy the solitude of the woods and mountains! Up one more flight of stairs and you'll find our favorite place: the loft! A private space overlooking the 2nd floor, this is the perfect romantic retreat(or kid gathering place!). Lots of spots for either a little private time OR quality family bonding.
Spend the days taking advantage of all the local activities including Lake Nottely, Vogel State Park, Helton Creek Falls, Brasstown Bald, BlueRidge Scenic Railway, Helen, Dahlonaga, Bryson City, Cherokee and Smoky Mountain National Park. We are only 6.5 mles away (a 10 minute drive) from the renowned John C. Campbell Folk School!! Then come home, relax on the spacious deck, or kick back in our indoor Jacuzzi room!
We come from the "bed and breakfast" mentality so we will always try and give you a personalized experience. Why the Owner Chose Blairsville
We chose this location after a trip to the N. Georgia Mountains in 2004. We fell in love with the fact that, within such a short distance, there was so much to do. The proverbial "something for everyone" really applies. The drive to Blairsville is beautiful and very accessible. We loved that fact that we could be up in the mountains in such a short amount of time.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin
We absolutely love the fact that, while the cabin is not huge, there always seems to be room for everyone to spread out. We really enjoy the 3 story layout. The indoor Jacuzzi has gotten more use than we ever imagined! It is absolutely fabulous to come home after a day of whitewater rafting or hiking and sink into that hot water! (Well, even an "tough" day of antiqueing deserves a soak too...)
Knowing that we can pull out of the driveway and be at the John C. Campbell Folk school in 10 minutes is the icing on the cake. The free Friday night concerts in the summer are wonderful. Also, being able to observe the crafters at work and browse the stores is just a treat for the eyes!

We are a small family of 3 (husband, wife and 11yr old daughter). We love to keep busy, but also enjoy relaxing, a good BBQ and browsing the antique stores. Blairsville is the perfect location for us.
