This spacious 3rd floor corner unit condo is 2,500 sq ft and has just been completely refurnished. The master bedroom has a king size bed and an en suite bathroom. The bathroom includes a Jacuzzi bath, a walk in roman shower, his and her sinks and a separate vanity area. There are 2 guest bedrooms each with a queen size bed and en suite bathroom, a separate dining area and large living area with fantastic tropical views over the inland waterways. Spectacular sunsets can be seen from the large wrap-around balcony.
Our condo is located in a gated community where you can enjoy playing tennis, swimming in the quiet heated pool,kayaking or working out in the air-conditioned gym. There is also a paved trail through the beautiful grounds and along the boat slips.
This waterfront condo is in Osprey, closest place to paradise with an average temperature of 73 degrees all year-round. It is minutes away from several stunning beaches, including Casey Key and Siesta Key beach, with its world-famous fine sand. There are numerous shopping malls and restaurants in the immediate area as well as the quaint village shops and weekly market to be found in Venice. For the golfers among you, some of the best golf courses can be found nearby. Also for bicycle and wildlife enthusiasts, Oscar Scherer State Park offers several trails where you can spot bald eagles, bob cats, river otters and alligators.
If you are a private pilot, Venice airport (VNC) is 10mins away.
Tampa International airport is 1 hour away and Orlando International is 1 and half hours drive.

A luxury condo' in a superb location from which to explore Sarasota and the coastal area

First a few words about the property - but I need more than a few. It's just wonderful. Spacious, convenient, scenic, beautifully appointed, immaculate, comfortable, well situated, peaceful and safe. In a word FABULOUS. We could not fault it in any way. In 30 minutes you're in downtown Sarasota, in 10 minutes you're on Siesta Key, in 5 minutes you're on Casey Key, in 7 minutes you are in Venice, and although the apartment sits on an idyllic waterside site the restaurants and shops and stores that line US 41 are mere minutes away. For us this was the ideal location. Even getting to and from Tampa airport was a breeze because the nearby 681 route links directly to Interstate 75 thus circumventing the Sarasota conurbation completely and delivering you via the 275 to Tampa International in less than 90 minutes. There are dozens of really good places to eat within a few minutes drive, ranging from the basic, simple but enchanting Casey Key Fish House, which is highly recommended, to the sophisticated romantic and delightful Ophelia's by the Bay on Siesta Key, which is also recommended. In between you have the popular and animated Bonefish Grill (yes, great fish) and Carrabbas (fast Italian) where you can't book and may queue, but not for long. Or how about a funky evening on the beach at Sharkey's (Venice pier), or perhaps if you just want to watch the world and his wife go by and look at some yachts you most definitely can't afford, then Marina Jack's in the heart of Sarasota is where you need to be with a large Pina Colada while the blazing sun sinks into its watery grave and the sky turns deep purple and volcanic orange. If you are into wild life and particularly birds then this place is a Mecca. You practically have to ask the sea birds to move as you walk along the tide line and the condo' has its own Osprey who lives in a dead tree about 100 yards away. A visit to Myakka River State Park is a must; Wood Storks, Herons of all types, various hawks, Roseate Spoonbills, Caspian Terns, Baldheaded Eagles and Alligators, all await you. An evening at Sarasota Opera House was an exciting and vibrant affair preceded by dinner at Bijou Cafe, a glamorous restaurant just across the street. The Ringling Museum is another treasure that you must see and if you have just half a day to spare then the historic and culturally significant Spanish Point is almost on your doorstep. As you might guess we are totally hooked on this condo and this area. Roll on 2012!

This is a wonderful property - luxuriously furnished & in a great location. We have just returned from our third stay here are have rebooked for next year. The balcony is massive and a wonderful place to sit and watch the water - in particular, the jumping fish! The condo itself is huge and so comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped and, although we dined out each night, we could have happily cooked. There is plenty of room for 6 people in terms of bedrooms, bathrooms and seating areas. The communal pool was clean and a good place to chill out. In our week, we never saw anyone else there! The tennis courts were similarly quiet. There is a beautiful beach (Nokomis) a few minutes away by car. Free parking and very clean rest rooms. There are plenty of restaurants to suit everyone near the condo. The Publix supermarket is a few minutes' drive away. I don't hesitate to recommend this condo - the owners have spared no expense in the furnishings - it feels like a home from home.
