This was a great property! I was a little worried with their being only one bedroom, but our family of five stayed here quite comfortably. The apartment was spotless, the kitchen very efficient, it was very well stocked with all the amenities. Gabrielle and her brother were quite helpful, and met us at the apartment even though we arrived late, and showed us how to operate the elevator, pointed out the view of the Eiffel Tower (from the bathroom :0) this made us all smile). It looked like the apartment had been renovated quite recently with a modern kitchen, updated bathroom and WC, new paint, and refinished floors. I was also impressed that they had two closets...a luxury! The location is quite convenient to the metro, the Champs Elysee, the Louvre, and almost all tourist attractions. The building was lovely, an old masion with a courtyard, there is a doorman who is there until 8pm. There is a Mono Prix less than a quarter mile away that is open until midnight...very important for that late night run to the store which is almost impossible anywhere in Europe. The downside might be that it is on the top floor (but there is an elevator), and it may be a bit cramped for 5 if you are looking for a place longer than a week...but we were grateful they took five since paying for two bedrooms would have been cost-prohibitive! And we were quite comfortable! I would rate this property and the owners with an Excellent rating! We all had a great stay Thanks Gabrielle for making it so enjoyable! I would definitely recommend.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.
Owner response: Dear Particia, It was a pleasure to meet you and your children and I am really glad you had a good time in the apartment. Best, Gabrielle

We (2 adults and 2 children) stayed 3 nights in this wonderful apartment and thoroughly enjoyed living like Parisians! It was easy to find, Gabriella was so flexible with check-in and check out times, which made everything easy for us. She was a pleasure to deal with and extremely helpful and engaging. It really is a little gem right in the centre of Paris with restaurants and shops right outside the door. It was amazingly quiet for such a central location and we had no concerns about security . We were able to walk everywhere including the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, the Musee D'Orsay, Notre Dame. The metro is so close to the apartment, and the supermarket is a 5 minute walk. I would definitely recommend this little haven to friends!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

Definitely a very nice apartment. The location is excellent. It's less than a block away from the Champs Elysees, so very convenient, but there was still no noise from the street--and we were there on New Year's Eve, when it's craziest! The metro is right there once you get on the Champs Elysees, and across the Champs Elysees (crossing it can be a bit crazy, but you can pass underneath via the metro station if you don't want to do that) and one block over is an excellent new Monoprix for groceries. They literally opened up a new version of it the week while we were there, and it is nice and big for a Parisian grocery store. As far as the apartment itself is concerned, it's very nice and clean and feels safe. The amenities are good. The fridge is big for Europe, and it's nice to have a washer in the apartment. The sofa bed is a good size. In fact, it may be larger than the actual bed itself. Considering location and amenities, the apartment is a great deal for the price. And the family that owns it is very nice. The only conceivable thing I can think of that would be a downside is the fact that the elevator only goes up to the third floor and you have to walk up the remaining staircase; in that case, if you use a stroller with kids, this may not be the apartment for you. Then again, if you plan on using a stroller for your kids in Paris--good luck. The Paris metro is not very stroller-friendly. Overall, however, we had a great experience in this apartment and would definitely stay again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We just returned from a very nice 6 day, 5 night stay in October, 2012 at this spacious apartment. It is ideally located very close to all the major attractions around the Champs Elysees, immediately adjacent to beautiful Avenue Montaigne, close proximity to Avenue George V, and Champs Elysees itself. We were within 10 minute walks to 3 Michelin 3 star restaurants, the Grand Palais, Petit Palais, Rue St. Honore du Faubourg for shopping, 20 minute walk across the Left Bank to the Eiffel Tower, Les Invalides, and about 40 minute walk to the Lourve. We love to walk, which is really the best way to see Paris. For this purpose, we think this is the very best thing about the apartment. It is also just a half block from Metro Line 1. When we arrived in Paris at the Gard du Nord train station, it was raining and the taxi line was 2-3 hours, so with Gabriella's excellent instructions, we took the RER to Chatalet, changed to the Metro Line 1 and got off the Franklin D. Roosevelt stop, and walked only half a block to get to the apartment, which only took 30-40 minutes, and we had never even done this before! Now that was an "interesting" Parisien experience - not sure we want to do that again, but we were thankful to have that option given the challenging weather at that time - good luck getting a cab when it is raining! The apartment is not one of luxury, but it is very nice and comfortable, more of a home away from home and has all the amenities required for an excellent 5 night stay - with a kitchen, living room, bedroom, etc. Bed is a full-size bed, and seems a bit smaller and not quite as firm as what we are accustomed to in the US, but this is standard in Europe, and more an individual taste. It is very close to a big supermarket, Monoprix, across the Champs Elysees, where we stocked up water, juice, fruit, etc. The apartment is very quiet, which is nice to be protected from the bustling noise of Paris streets. The Wifi worked great, once we figured out which network it was, which was not obvious, and free long distance calls were included. The apartment is on the top (4th) floor. The elevator lift takes you to the 3rd floor, so you have to walk up one short flight of stairs, where there is limited lighting so it gets dark on that flight of stairs in the evening. Gabriella was an excellent hostess - very accomodating, and very responsive. We would try to stay here again when we return to Paris for a visit. Thank you, Gabriella, for having us!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, sightseeing.

I stayed with my family in this apartment which looks stunning! We loved this apartment as it is ideally situated in the heart of the city center, modern, very clean, and has a nice flat screen TV. Complimentary internet access is also available in the apartment. The pictures were exactly as described in the summary, and the apartment was perfect for our needs. Gabriella is very professional and accommodating landlord. She was very helpful and friendly form the first email I have exchanged with her. When we arrived to the apartment, Gabriella was waiting for us, she was a nice person and she tried her best to explain about the apartment and the nearby area, offering her service by asking us to contact her any time we need anything. She was very punctual upon our leaving to hand over the apartment back to her. Thank you very much Gabriella and we do appreciate your great support and services. This apartment is just few steps away from Ave Montaigne and Champs-Elysees with access to wonderful shopping boutiques, cafes, dining, grocery store, Cinema, Metro stops and a pharmacy as well. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom was spotless, and the living room is comfy and spacious. I especially loved that the landlord had some condiments in the kitchen (sugar, salt, pepper…etc) as well as paper towels and pots/pans. I really felt like I was living in Paris. I would definitely recommend this apartment.Recommended for: Tourists without a car.

My parents, sister and I stayed here for 4 nights over the New Years period in 2011/2012 and couldn't have picked a better place. The location is on the doorstep of the Champs Elysee. We were able to walk to the Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysee Christmas Markets, Arc De Triumph and the River Seine. For other destinations, the Metro station is a 3 min walk to the corner. On the other corner are luxury shops such as Prada, Chanel etc as well as cafes, restaurants and grocery shop all on the block. The apartment is clean, modern and even bigger than the pictures reflect. It is equipped with all the essentials - washing machine, kitchen facilities, iron, wardrobe, wifi and even a cupboard of books to read! The building itself is fully secure with 2 security doors and has the convenience of a lift. Finally, Gabriella was the perfect host. She was so friendly and gave us the luxury of choosing our check-in and check-out time and was there to greet us at the door. We got a full tour of the apartment and information of the immediate local area. I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable, roomy, secure apartment and wanting to feel like they are living a true Parisian lifestyle in Paris! I will definitely be re-booking on my next stay in Paris.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 8/8

What to say when everything goes just like you dreamed about? We decided to rent this flat looking at the pictures in the net. Then we did the contacts via email and had a quicly answer. Gabriela, the owner, is an young lady that gave us all the instructions to arrive at the flat and the code to go inside the building (a historic one). The flat is so well located! Just near the middle of Champs Élysées! You have a metro station in the corner, a supermarket just across the Champs Élysées and all facilities and restaurants very close. Ah! The Eiffel Tower can be seeing from the window. The flat is well equipped, also with some goods that Gabiela leaves to her hosts. Believe me, anyone will appreciate staying there.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This apartment location is the best, one block away from everything: Champ-Elysees less than a block away, the supermarket and pharmacy around the corner, the metro and bus stop right on the corner. The Arc de triumph within walking distance as well as the galerie nationale. The area is full of restaurants and shops, a shoppers paradise. The neighborhood is very quite, my wife and I felt very safe coming and going at any time of the day or night. You would need to go thru two coded key doors to come into the building which at night is well lit. We instantly felt in love with the aparment decorated in the french style and loaded with all the modern conveniences, it's been recently renovated. The building has an elevator but doesn't go the way to the last floor so you have to climb one flight of stairs but all consider it is ok. Gabriella is the best to do business with; she waited for us even though we were late, very accommodating and always a phone call away. She gave us a tour of the apartment and the building. Most definitely we will stay again in this apartment next time in Paris, it gets five stars in my book.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, age 55+.
