Sited on the 2nd floor, my condo offers spectacular views of the famous Sanibel beach. Screened lanai, living room and master bedroom are all Gulf front. Decorator decor and paint treatments make this a tasteful retreat perched on the edge of the sea.

The Bailey-Matthews Shell Museum will give you background and perspective on the shore's treasures. The Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge will introduce you close up to tropical birds, migrants, alligators and one crocodile. Three championship golf courses are right on the Island with many more nearby in Ft. Myers. Why the Owner Chose Ocean's Reach
I purchased this unit with its perch on the edge of the sea because I am a water person. My mother, who also loved the water, had just come to the end of a long and productive life, so when I stay here I also remember her energy and inspiration. Ocean's Reach is a special sanctuary for me as well as a place where I have developed many friendships. The office staff is phenomenal. I serve on the board, was president during and after the hurricanes of 2004, and the way everyone pulled together to recreate us from that disaster is inspiring. Our vision was to create a first rate vacation destination and guest feedback tells us we have accomplished that and more.
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
Sitting in my condo, I can watch the changing moods of the sea from morning till night, from sunny days to storms. I am jsut 19 steps to the shell-beach, where I can go day or night as curiosity leads me. If I have a problem, the staff is always available to solve it. Cooking is a pleasure with a full kitchen and then the gas grills in the picnic area are also available. I can rent a bike on the property and follow the more than 14 miles of bike trails around the island, or veer off into an unpaved street to explore nooks and crannies. The 2 separated bedrooms give guests some privacy and when it's just my husband and I we each have our own bathroom to spread out in. And with the washer/dryer in the unit, we go home with clean clothes.

I am a retired public relations and marketing consultant and volunteer my services with Iowa Religious Media Services, an ecumenical media library that has six mainline denominations and their churches as members. I also play my flute with a group, write unpublished romance novels and garden.
