Because we use this sanctuary ourselves, we've appointed it with amenities to make it to arrive and settle in quickly. You'll enjoy a full kitchen with gourmet touches, soft-as-a-feather beds, flat screen TVs, DVD and VCR players, complementary wireless internet, covered parking and many other amenities that create your welcoming ''home away from home''. Master bedroom includes walk-in closet and private bath. Guest bedroom has its own bath adjacent and built in California closet.

The condo is inspected after every departure so you should not find faulty amenities. If something should break during your visit, on site staff will correct the problem swiftly, on the same day, if possible. I review the furnishings semi-annually to assure they are in top condition.

Why the Owner Chose Ocean's Reach
I purchased this unit with its perch on the edge of the sea because I am a water person. My mother, who also loved the water, had just come to the end of a long and productive life, so when I stay here I also remember her energy and inspiration. Ocean's Reach is a special sanctuary for me as well as a place where I have developed many friendships. The office staff is phenomenal. I serve on the board, was president during and after the hurricanes of 2004, and the way everyone pulled together to recreate us from that disaster is inspiring. Our vision was to create a first rate vacation destination and guest feedback tells us we have accomplished that and more.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Sitting in my condo, I can watch the changing moods of the sea from morning till night, from sunny days to storms. I am just 19 steps to the shell-beach, where I can go day or night as curiosity leads me. If I have a problem, the staff is always available to solve it. Cooking is a pleasure with a full kitchen and then the gas grills in the picnic area are also available. I can rent a bike on the property and follow the more than 14 miles of bike trails around the island, or veer off into an unpaved street to explore nooks and crannies.

I also play my flute with a group, sing in my church choir and enjoy cooking, gardening and working out.

Very comfortable accommodations. Management on-site is very good. The location simply could not be better. Quiet, off the beaten path, a real hidden gem. The beach is divine. We visited other beaches but there isn't any reason to! The one right out the door of the condo is perfection! Sanibel is a lovely tropical paradise that cherishes it's natural features. A lot of the island is protected wildlife preserve area. Riding one of the rental bikes is a great way to enjoy it all.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+.
