Our home is a paired cabin in a planned mountain resort community built in 2008 and within walking distance of the SolVista Ski Area. There is also a ski lift approximately 200 yards from our front door.
Our cabin has 1550 square feet on three levels. On the lower level, there is a large family room with a comfortable queen sofa bed and an HD flat screen TV. There is also a quiet, private bedroom with two twin beds, a full bath and laundry room. On the main level, is a living room with a large screen HD TV above the fireplace, leather sofa, loveseat, easy chair, area rugs, and views of the ski area and Continental Divide. Also on this level is the kitchen with all modern appliances, a large breakfast bar and separate dining room with full-sized table and seating for six. Relax on the covered deck just off the dining room while watching the sun set behind the mountains.
The upper level is a beautiful ensuite master bedroom retreat with a queen sized bed. The bathroom has a tiled shower with bench.
The Fraser River, and Headwaters Golf Course are in our community about a one mile drive from our cabin. There are also over 30 miles of hiking trails in a family friendly environment.
Mountain Biking is very popular in the summer when the ski slopes become bike trails. Summer weekends are pretty exciting with extreme downhill bike races on the slopes.
The new Grand Park Community Recreation Center in Fraser has an indoor pool, lazy river, climbing wall, an indoor track, workout rooms, dance studios and more - only 20 minutes away. Their phone number is: 970-726-8968 or you can google Grand Park Community Recreation Center.
Our cabin is located two miles from downtown Granby and a full service grocery store. We are 25 minutes from Winter Park skiing with a free shuttle. Grand Lake is 20 minutes away, and Rocky Mountain National Park is 30 minutes away. There are numerous state parks with lakes and hiking trails in the immediate area.
