Our 3 bedroom 2 bath unit was refurbished by an interior designer in 2007 with all new Crate and Barrel furniture, leather couches, 2 new flat screen TV’s and a stereo with an ipod connection and new Ralph Lauren bed linens. In 2011, we added brand new posturpedic beds. We have the corner unit on the top floor with a beautiful view of Aspen mountain. The master has a king bed with an attached private bath and a flat screen t.v. Both the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms have 2 twin beds in each room. There is parking in the garage and heated snow-melt spots in the alley. The Chateau Chaumont is a 3 story, 22 unit, well maintained building with a great community.
The condo has a spectacular view of Aspen Mountain and is beautifully appointed inside, however, the real amenity is it's location. We are literally 1 1/2 blocks from Aspen mountain's Silver Queen Gondola and one block from City Market grocery store and Starbucks. We are located next to the Sky Hotel with a great bar and pool area and right in downtown Aspen. Local RFTA busses with free skier shuttles to Snowmass, Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk mountains are 3 blocks away. With as much that goes on in Aspen it’s critical to be steps away.

Why the Owner Chose Chateau Chaumont
In my opinion this is the best location in aspen for a condo. Its 1.5 blocks from the lift, in downtown Aspen, not on a bus route i.e. no constant bus noise (but bus station is 2.5 blocks away), and you don't have too walk up a hill to get home.

My family and I stayed in this wonderful condo over an extended Martin Luther King holiday weekend, and what a great holiday it turned out to be! From the stunning view of Ajax Mountain out of the family room window, to the warm ambience of the condo with a cozy fire this wonderful 3 bedroom residence truly made our stay remarkable. The walk to the Gondola takes all of 4 minutes. There is a great breakfast spot right across the street, with the market and grog shop located right behind! So if you are cooking dinner for the family in its well equipped kitchen and you are in need of an ingredient (or another bottle of wine) as we were, and it is snowing (which it was) it is just a quick step across the street for whatever you need! The location is also great for families with teenage children as all of town is within walking distance. This enables them to take advantage of all Aspen has to offer (shopping, eating, exploring, etc.) without having to drive or grab a cab. It gives them a level of independence and freedom not often found. The condo itself is very comfortable (perfect deep leather couches made for napping after a great day on the slopes) and can accommodate many for dinners or just sprawling in the family room. As it is on the top floor it is quiet, and there is an outdoor hot tub on the ground floor that all of the units share. All in all we had a fabulous time spending a weekend with our two daughters (and friends) in a delightful condo that truly has it all. The owners were also very helpful in providing lists of places to go and numbers for anything you might need. We would absolutely recommend this to friends and family, and hope to return ourselves as soon a possible!!

our family of 5 spent a lovely holiday in this apartment. it is very comfortable and has every facility you would need. the location is excellent --- near shops and restaurants and of course the gondola, we walked everywhere. it was our first time in aspen but the owner was so helpful that we found everthing very easy to organise. i would definitely recommend this property.

Very nice place, with the BEST location! My family and I have been to Aspen many times before and always stay at well appointed properties. This property is definitely one of the best we have ever stayed at. Location, Location, Location is TRULY the BEST description for this property. Not only are you in the center of everything, but the supermarket is right across the street and eliminates the need to have a car during your stay. The unit itself is well decorated, spacious and equipped with all the essentials such as HD TV and Wireless Internet. I would recommend this unit to anyone considering a trip to Aspen. We loved it and will definitely be using it again in the future!

My wife and I stayed here with two other couples this year. It's very well appointed, beautifully decorated and the location is terrific - close to everything, but just enough off the main drag to be very quiet. We'll definitely be back.
