Welcome-- come stay at our Penthouse suite without Penthouse prices...Faubourg Marigny is a lovely historical neighborhood just behind the French Quarter-has a nice European feel to it. This building is a 175 year old corner-store creole building with a HUGE wrap-around balcony. This is the upstairs 1,300 sq ft private space with a view of 3 old church steeples from every corner. If this one is booked, I have another larger unit below with a beautiful courtyard for the same price, and it's larger at 1,500sf #256427. You can also rent both units for large parties.
This area has all you need within walking distance--grocery 2 blks away, coffee shops w/ WIFI, restaurants, antique/thrift shops, yoga, bars. 5 blks away is a Country Club with a great restaurant and pool/hot tub you can lounge in all day (only $10-15 a day).
My home has 14' ceilings, wood floors, full kitchen with all you need, 2 baths, 2 bedrooms (one bed/bath is in the loft), washer/dryer,WIFI,cable TV,DVD,CD player,stereo. I have all new things-furniture, sheets, towels, beds, etc. This neighborhood is special; lots of people use their bicycles to get around, or walk. Luckily, we never got any flooding- we are on higher ground here.
Treat yourself--this is WAY better than a hotel!! Located 10 blocks to the French Quarter, 8 blks to Frenchman St. & 2 miles to the Convention Center. If you want to go to the Quarter, it's easy to park a few blks away from the Quarter, and walk in-the parking in there is crazy, so this works well. WE ARE BOOKED for New Years, Jazzfest, and part of Mardi Gras.

Why the Owner Chose New Orleans
Vacations are very important, and i love being able to accomodate people with a great home in a great location--New Orleans is a special place, and buying this property is part of my contribution to restoring a beautiful section of New Orleans. Faubourg Marigny is very artsy, and eclectic. It is walking distance to a grocery, pool, great restaurants. It has a european quality to it that I love, and has the character.
The Unique Benefits at this House
4 blks to a wonderful thrift store and cofee house (great brunch),5 blocks to The Country Club pool and restaurant to lounge at, 2 blks to a grocery, many 2nd lines cruise down the street with fun music and dancers every now and again.....only 8 blks to Frenchman St (great music and food), 10 blks to the French Quarter.
