  My girlfriend and I throughly enjoyed our weekend stay in the condo. It had everything we needed and was was walking distance to Manhattan blvd. The bikes included were clutch as well. We will definitely be coming back. Thanks for all the hospitality and leaving out snacks!

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car.

  The place was just right- clean, well appointed, & the owner was readily available when we had an issue with the washing machine (I hope it got fixed relatively easily!) The bed & couch were very comfy, & the kitchen was equipped with pretty much everything one might need. The little touches were sweet too- the goodie basket & the shampoos & soaps in the bathroom were really nice. It was exactly as described- 3 houses to the beach (most important to us!)

  PROS: Great location close to shopping, restaurants, and the beach. Quiet neighborhood, clean. Had everything you could want, even dishwasher & washer driver. Updated furnishings with large TV. CONS: Not for anyone who has trouble walking. Entire area (beach city) steep inclines. Car parking extremely dificult to find around town. Take lots of quarters and read the meters carefully. Saw cars towed on a daily basis. We left our car parked in the garage and walked everywhere, great workout, faster then driving around and around looking for parking. For this reason and only this reason I couldn't give it 5 stars. I would recommend this property to family and friends.

  We had a wonderful stay in Manhattan Beach. The house was just as described and very clean and comfortable. It is so nice to get up and make breakfast and a cup of tea in a relaxing way, rather than having to get dressed and drive to have breakfast. Loved staying in a house rather than a hotel. My son enjoyed riding one of the bikes every morning and it was so convenient to have beach chairs available for our use also. This is the first time I rented a home and it is a little scary because you do not know who you are dealing with on the other end of the phone or email account. Luckily, Larry was honest, easy to deal with, and very helpful whenever I had questions. I would definitely recommend his house to anyone wanting to spend time in Manhattan Beach.

  My husband and I stayed here at the beginning of May for our honeymoon and were delighted with the home. It was only a minute or two walk to the Strand and to the beautiful beaches. It was the perfect getaway for us to enjoy the amazing sunsets and each other. Unit was perfect for the two of us and the bed was very comfortable. Delightful surprise to find a welcome basket and congratulation card waiting for us upon our arrival! We enjoyed riding the bikes provided on the easily accessible, well-maintained bike path. Very close access to LAX as well. Would highly recommend!

  The house is in a great location - a nice quiet, family neighbourhood and only 3 houses to the beach. My husband and I really appreciated coming back here in the evening after sightseeing to enjoy a nice walk along the beach. The house is well equipped and in a good location for visiting the LA area. It's great to have the use of the laundry and the internet. Larry was really helpful, too, keeping in touch prior to our arrival, sending all the information necessary for our stay and checking on us when we arrived to ensure that everything was ok. Would recommend staying here for two adults (with the bathroom off the bedroom, it might be a bit awkward for four adults) and would love to return here if we come back to LA.

  Great location; neat and clean cosy little getaway! Now we want to come again to RELAX! (sister's wedding weekend was busy!) Thanks for all the little details and amenities; only thing of note for other parents with small children is the lack of a bathtub; but our 1 year old fit into the kitchen sink! lol Laundry and dishwasher were perks too! We'll def be back!

  Recently my husband and I along with our son stayed in this apartment for a week. The location is great--just steps from the famous El Porto surfing beach and close to restaurants and shops. We especially enjoyed the cruiser bikes the owner provided and have access to a washer and dryer was much appreciated. The apartment was exactly as advertised and much more comfortable than staying in a hotel.

  My daughter and I stayed here for about a week while she was interviewing for jobs in LA. I spent the days at the beach and riding the bike along the beach to the shopping area. Larry was so nice and he left us a nice welcome gift - cookies (yum)! I would definitely rent this house again!

  My husband and I stayed here for a few nights and really enjoyed our stay. It was very cozy and we loved how it was decorated. It's on a quiet street and very close to the beach which was nice for my morning walks. It was also nice to be able to use the bikes to ride along the bike path along the beach. We would definitely stay here again.
