In a quiet cul de sac in the Bucerias beachside residential section, this brand new home is just one block from the miles-long stretch of Bucerias beach and 20 minutes to Puerto Vallarta International Airport in a typical pueblo with many restaurants, bars, tiendas and its own weekend market.

This is a spacious two-level construction of the best quality with the focal point being the pool and surrounding garden. A grand entrance and wrapping staircase welcome you to your vacation abode, which has been especially designed for comfortable indoor-outdoor living with lots of lounge area for sunning or reading.

Picture yourself at the kitchen bar enjoying Margaritas or gathering around the large dining table, both of which overlook the pool and a lush garden for a constant reminder that you are in the tropics.

When not in the privacy of your garden oasis, you can enjoy hours-long beach walks, body surfing, parasailing or toes-in-the-sand walks to this town’s lively centro or an easy jaunt to Puerto Vallarta or the many nearby villages, including La Cruz and its new marina. Golf, fishing and beaches are abundant.

Three bedrooms include a master king suite with ample balcony overlooking the pool and its own ensuite bathroom. The second guest room has a double bed and the third room has the option of one king or two twins depending on guest’s needs.

All the creature comforts are included, modern kitchen and pantry with granite countertops, sold wood cabinetry and stainless steel appliances and no shortage of cookware and dishes for great mealtime events.

All is very tastefully decorated with natural textures, warm colors and many reminders of Mexico’s rich arts and handicrafts.

Beach umbrellas and boogey boards are provided. Flat screen TV, Star Choice Satellite and DVD player. Maid service is offered twice weekly.

This is eight blocks from Bucerias centro, easily walk-able via the beach or Lazaro Cardenas, the main drag that is speckled with restaurants and boutiques the closest being IXTA, Jorge's Cocina, Karen's Place, and Fish Tacos followed by Mark's Restaurant, Adriatico, Sandrinas, the Red Apple and the Gecko Bar among others — offering everything from great Mexican fare to coffee, pastry and fine dining. Most restaurants feature some form of entertainment from Mariachi to guitar solos and even special evenings with recording artists, such as Latcho and Andrea.

Meet and greet/housekeeping: We provide orientation of the home on arrival and will attend to any needs during your stay. The property is fully cared for with gardening and pool cleaning service. Toiletries, linens, bath and beach towels are included. Maid service is provided mid-week with a towel change. Stays of more than a week include an additional weekly service and full change of sheets and towels.

BUCERIAS

Bucerias retains the charm of Puerto Vallarta 30 years ago with its unspoiled beaches, cobble-stoned streets, lovely homes, and friendly locals. Bucerias is the central point of the longest stretch of beach on the entire bay of Banderas, surf is generally quite calm allowing for easy swimming and a bit of boogy-boarding. The long beach is perfect for great walks and beach-combing.

With the amenities essential to a wonderful vacation: good restaurants, from excellent Mexican fare, international fine dining to fabulous pizza, many with live music at least once a week, good happy hour spots, a variety of shops, access to water sports, eco-tours which include jungle, river kayaking and whale watching among other options, and an excellent and growing selection of golf courses nearby, you will feel quite at home in this charming ocean-side town.

The night life, shopping and dining of Puerto Vallarta are an easy 20-minute ride away. Both taxis and buses have frequent service along the new four-lane highway. The taxis are literally 1/2 block away and the local buses are three blocks away to make travel easy. Activities in the area include golf, deep-sea fishing, whale watching, snorkeling & scuba diving. Guided tours are available into the surrounding mountains and jungle or take a sunset cruise on the ocean.

Of course you can just relax under a palm tree on the beach with a good book. Car rentals are available so that you can do your own exploring of the small villages, which dot the coast or up into the hills surrounding the bay.

We were minutes away from the beach and great authentic mexican restaurants yet enjoyed the comforts of staying in a beautiful new home.
