Eight family members stayed at this lovely home for spring break. We planned this trip a year ago and were not disappointed. The private tiki bar was a huge hit! Each evening we sat outside, watched the sunset and listened to the waves. Saw dolphins which was exciting. The house is beautiful and well stocked, very clean. Loved laying in the cabana and reading while the kids swam. The water was clear and very warm. Enjoyed walking on the beach and collecting shells. Lots to do nearby and great restaurants. Would love to return some time!!

We had a wonderful time at this incredible beach house. Lana greeted us and was very warm and friendly. We felt at home right away. The home (especially the kitchen and beach supplies) was VERY well stocked with everything you could possibly need and more. Just add groceries and enjoy! There are stores conveniently nearby. The home was clean and vey comfortable. We rented both the main house and the guest house. There were 11 of us including 5 kids between 4 and 15 years old and we never felt crowded. The yard was gorgeous and we spent most of our time at the tiki hit and on the beach. We cooked mostly out on the BBQ. Our four year old loved it so much she asked if we could please live there. We were able to hit a Blue Jays spring training game in nearby Dunedin, FL. We also had a fabulous meal out at Dockside Dave's. Lana provided a great welcome package including restaurant recommendations which included type of food served, average prices, address, phone number and her comments. This came in very handy. We quite enjoyed the free wifi as well. On this vacation we also went to Disney and a cruise to the Bahamas. But for me, the highlight of the trip was our stay here. It's well worth it, if you are vacationing in the area stay here, you won't be disappointed

This was our second stay and we plan to go back again this year. The lovely outdoor space is fabulous, complete with Tiki Hut! We love this stretch of Redington Beach because there are less condos are therefore less people competing for beach space. The house has all the necessities but you won't be spending much time inside :)

We had a wonderful time at this house! The beach was beautiful. It is convenient to lots of good restaurants and pubs. The house itself is so inviting and accommodating that it is hard to leave. If you are looking for the perfect beach house, this is it! Burnett, Austin, TX

Three of us couples stayed and the house was the right size. The house is in a perfect location -- situated on the beach, good restaurants within walking distance or a short cab ride, and a grocery store is close by. Lana is great to work with -- very responsive. This was our first time renting a house. After our experience with Lana and this property, we would do it again!

We had an absolute blast! Stayed there with my husband, child, mother, father, and in-laws. The beach was absolutely beautiful, and we loved watching the dolphins. The outside area was gorgeous!! We never wanted to leave the house to do anything because the back yard made you feel like you were in a resort setting. Lana is great to work with. Had a terrible storm one day which messed up two tvs and she came and had those tvs replaced the very next morning!! Would def return and cant wait!!!!

This had to be the most enjoyable vacation place ever. My husband, daughters & their family were very impressed with everything. We enjoyed the beauty of the backyard & the privacy of the beach. We saw dolphins in the ocean straight out from the backyard, the sunsets were stunning. We ate at The Conch, Bubba Gumps, Sculleys & The Friendly Fisherman. The Conch & Bubba Gumps we went back to a couple times!! The Original Pizza place had great pizza's. We went on the Pirate Ship which was great fun. You need to go para-sailing, old & young!!! Everything was there at the house that we needed. Lana is great, we had a problem with a light that wouldn't shut off & she had someone out the very next day & fixed it. I would recommend this place to anyone!!! We would love to return again sometime. We could have went more but everyone really liked just staying there. Thank you Lana!!! You were very helpful from the beginning of us finding this rental & continued to be there for us .

this was our first rental with homeaway and we could not have been happier, we hated to leave. My 5 yr. grandson stills talks about his florida house. Lana is the nicest person you could ever meet. the home is clean, well organized and the beach and back patio there is just not enough words. we would have stayed again this year, but my mother passed away and some changes had to be made. the location is great to all restaurants. You can not go wrong renting here. Just remember you will have to leave.

Dear Sir/Madam: We found everything to be 100% top-notch from location, layout of home and beautiful furniture. Everything worked properly and exceptional customer service. E.g., with four little children, the fenced-in yard was ideal for safety. The recommendations for renting car seats and gates for stairs made our vacation perfect. The area provides, nearby, a boardwalk with excellent restaurants, shops, activities and stroller accessible for ease in walking about. We would recommend this property to all and, we would hope to visit again in future years. The extra amenity of separate one bedroom apartment was above and beyond expectations. The welcome kit p;rovided was most helpful with maps to Busch Gardens, Tarpon Springs Sponge Boat Trip, and nearby wonderful restaurants. In addition, the beautiful grill gave us cookouts and use of the lovely Tiki Bar to watch sunsets. An outstanding property for vacation with tremendous customer service. Sincerely yours, Francine

The best backyard on the beach! It's an absolute paradise. Plenty of palm trees to give you shade in the heat of the day so you can still enjoy the sights and sounds of the ocean. The tiki bar was so much fun! The sand on the beach was pure white. The beach is nice and quite with few people. 10 friends from all around the U.S. gathered here for a week of fun. There was plenty of room for all of us in the house and we never felt like we were in each others way. Great bars not far away on Treasure Island and St. Pete beach. A lot of them offer live bands. We went deep sea fishing, (I caught a 50" King fish) Visted Bush Gardens, rented scooters and jet skis. By far one of the best vacations I have been on. I can't wait until I can come back and stay here again! Lana was so helpful and was quick to answer any questions I had. Thank you Lana! I've made a friend for life! Phyllis

I have 4 boys under 5 years old and they could run around all they wanted from sun up to sun down with no worries (great back yard). My family will return. :Ocean Front A+ :Back Yard A+ :House cozy but roomy A+ :Master Bedroom A+ :Kitchen A+ :Great Location AAA+++

We had a great time at this wonderful beach front house. The best part is the back yard. Beautifully landscaped. Completly fenced in so the children have boundries. The tiki bar was great, seats everyone. Going to sleep with the sound of the surf is heaven. Loved it.

The pictures do not do it justice. This place is gorgeous, well-maintained, attractively decorated but still comfortable, convenient to restaurants/ groceries/ shopping, and full of little "extras" to make the stay even more pleasant. The outdoor patio area is the nicest I've ever experienced, and this from someone who grew up in Florida and has vacationed at beaches all over the state. Spend an afternoon basking in one of the two hammocks or the house's beach cabana, and let your cares melt away! We saw dolphins, and there were gorgeous sunsets behind the tiki bar each night. The beach is uncrowded, as there are no condos nearby, and there were many interesting shells on the beach. The "cottage" is bigger than it looks in the photo, and was perfect for our 3-month old son to get away from the group at the main house when he needed to nap. Lana even had some special welcome items for the baby and supplied a crib. The kitchen is well-equipped for any kind of cooking. In all, this was the most pleasant beach experience I've ever had.

Lana and John were extremely helpful since we were new to the area and needed info on good restaurants, shopping and close-by interesting activities. Our family group ranged in age from 4 to 67 and the house was perfect. The back-yard alone is worth the price! We were approximately ten paces from the back gate to the waters of the gulf which allowed us to be in the back area and still keep a close eye on the youngsters playing in the sand. There were plenty of shaded areas in the back and the tiki hut with it's own sink, refrig and ice maker got a lot of use for breakfast and lunch not to mention storage for drinks which cut down on traffic from the beach to inside. The highlight of our vacation was having the family observe a loggerhead turtle laying her eggs a couple of houses away and then seeing her cover them and return to the water-something the children (and adults) will never forget. There was plenty of dolphin activity near the swimming area as well. We loved our trip, the house was immaculate, the layout and decor of the house wonderful and the owners could not have been more welcoming. When you go don't forget a trip to the rescue aquarium in Clearwater to see the dolphins perform. JMM

Our stay could not have been better. The place is beautiful, clean and well maintained. The owner was very helpful . The place is exactly as it is described and more. I think the grounds is the prettiest on the beach. We were a family of 8 and had plenty of room . My husband and I stayed in the apartment and it was like being our own vacation except having the family near by. We would gladly recomend this property, and hope to go again.

This vacation was wonderful from beginning to end. Lana was a wealth of knowledge and went above and beyond. My daughter has severe food allergies, so Lana MapQuested local natural food stores and routes to the 3 nearest hospitals! She even had a care package and framed photo of my daughter at the house upon our arrival! She personally showed us through the house and she and John were both available to us 24/7 if needed. The house is perfectly set up for family vacations or multi-family - with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath up, 1 bed and 1 bath down and a guest apartment with full bath/kitchen AND laundry facilities - it had ALL the conveniences of home! Even the neighbors were wonderful! A breathtaking view of the Gulf during the day and beautifully lit landscaping at night! The tiki bar is very convenient and the entire property is well taken care of! The property is located just far enough away from crowds, but completely accessible within minutes by car or a romantic walk on the beach! I would completely recommend this property to friends and can't wait to go back next season! Being unable to eat out, I really appreciated the fully furnished kitchen with all the amenities of home! The beachside of the home is perfect for small children - you can either open the gate to the gulf or leave it closed to keep the kids in! Beautiful pavers and sandy beach enclosed for kids to enjoy! Lots of outdoor furniture (grill, chimenea, etc.) are available to enjoy as well! Absolutely loved the vacation! Thanks SO much!!

My family and I stayed at the house in November. It was absolutely beautiful!. Lana has done such an incredible job with all the decor from the furniture all the way down to the dishes. The tiki hut on the patio really sets the theme for the property!! Such a great place to relax, lay at the beach and have a cookout on the patio. If you are renting a beach house in the Tampa Bay area......this is the only one to rent!

Even if you live in the Tampa Bay Area, this was a refuge in and of itself. We were visiting from Seattle and just the arrival on property seemed to melt away stress of everyday living. I couldn't imagine being so close to the city and having this kind of home on the beach available to us for as short time as a week! Most homes like this are monthly only! The ability to walk out to our own Beach Bar Kiosk and be in the beautiful gulf waters steps away was like a dream. It made us wish we'd not even gone to Disney World in Orlando the week prior with our children! Sitting outside or preparing a fantastic seafood meal (or hire a chef as we've done before!) is like a scene out of Earnest Hemingway's biography. By the way, the decor is very Hemingway and Key West inspired. We never wanted to leave! We will be back this winter and can't wait to spend 2 weeks this time!!!! The owner, Lana is a perfectionist, which we love, since it's the same way we would treat our own home....you cannot go wrong with this home....It fulfilled our every desire in a vacation home and more!
