The balcony is a perfect perch for enjoying all of the sailboat races which run from start to finish in this view.
The ambience of the Gatehouse is perfect for two or as a retreat for one. The airy living room and open, cafe-like kitchen adjoin the balcony with two sets of sliding glass doors, filling the entire space with sky and water views. Perhaps the most memorable architectural features are the many artisan-crafted walls and steps of native stone, antique brick, coral and shells.
As a true island-lover, you can set out to swim and snorkel just 100 yards away on the scenic, white-sand beach of Secret Harbor. The beach is gracefully lined with palm trees, a bar, and a restaurant. The dive-shop rents all water toys and equipment, offers boat charters, and excursions for dives. When you choose to go out in the world, the shops, restaurants and yacht harbors of Red Hook are just two minutes away.
