  Had a wonderful time here with my family. The home is impeccably clean, comfortable, pretty and fun. Perfect location in Palm Springs, near restaurants, supermarket, downtown, but on a quiet private street. The heated pool was great! Paul, they owner, is incredibly helpful and responsive in every way. Couldn't have imagined a better experience. Thanks!!

  My partner and I rented this house for 2 weeks this February. We had an amazing time. The house was everything we had expected and more. There is tons of room to entertain and the pool is delightful!! Several of our relatives dropped by for a few days and there was lots of room to be together AND to have time on our own :) It is a short walk to the shops, restaurants and galleries of Palm Springs! It took us about 40 minutes to march right into old downtown but there are many restaurants closer than that. If you bike (and there are two Schwinns to use!) the trip is much quicker. The owners were a delight to work with and we will definitely come back!! There was some construction next door which was a bit tiring at times but that looks like it should be completed really quickly :) Thanks Paul and Dean for a wonderful vacation!!

  We really enjoyed staying in this classic mid-century home. It is in an excellent location - a quiet neighborhood yet a short distance from interesting places and activites. The house is comfortable and well-stocked. Everything was as advertised. When we had questions our host responded immediately with helpful information. We will stay here again when we return and recommend it to others.

  Paul was a dream to work with, and this house was a dream to rent. The owners have done a wonderful job recreating the mid-century experience. They have thought of all the details that make a renter feel right at home. I especially loved the waterfall in the pool and the privacy of the home. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and looking at all the other Alexander homes. You will not regret renting this house, I promise. It's the perfect Palm Springs experience.

  This house is magnificent! Everything you need is there - plenty of towels, every cooking utensil that you desire - it was like being at home. The owners are very, very responsive - it was a pleasure working with them. We had a problem with the jacuzzi, I wrote an email, and the owner was calling not 5 minutes later. Now, that is service! I highly suggest this property to everyone.

  We had a great two-night stay here in March. The house was bright, well-furnished and unexpectedly well-suited for our 1-year-old daughter (comfortable furniture and a great layout). We enjoyed the pool and the grill and the house was close to everything we wanted--a supermarket and the city's main street. The owners were very accommodating, helpful and easy-going. Definitely would recommend staying here.

  We spent a lovely weekend staying at this fun - beautifully furnished house in order to get away from the Seattle winter grey & to enjoy Palm Springs & its fantastic collection of Mid-Century modern architecture with our adult kids (who live in LA). It was the perfect place for all of us - a very comfortable, well preserved & beautifully cared for example of Mid-Century modern design! Coordinating our stay went very smoothly & the owner/manager was very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here & certainly hope to return again in the future. Yes - we recommend it highly. Great spot!

  When we arrived the charm of this beautiful home embraced us. We loved the modern feel mixed with mid century design. Our trip was amazing and staying here made it even more special. Although the weather did not cooperate as we might have hoped we really enjoyed cozying up to the outdoor fire and taking dips in the hottub. Thank you for making your home avaiable for us to enjoy. We will be back again.

  The layout of the house is really nice for prepping food/drinks and mingling at the same time, which is a big plus. The pool was lovely but took quite a bit of time to heat up, so we didn't really swim the first night (but made up for it the next few.) Quiet little cul de sac. One of the neighboring houses was completely vacant. It was very private. The jacuzzi, which is on the side of the house accessible most easily by the master bedroom/bath, was nice but pretty heavily chlorinated (which I suppose is to be warranted. I'd rather have chemical than other folks' cooties.) A quick, uncomplicated drive to a nicer, giant supermarket. Hadn't intended on staying at the house the entire time, (Thought we'd probably get bored and head downtown) but we were pretty much content to just stay at the house and lounge around the entire time. It was lovely. Stylish, uber clean, and well thought out home. I've stayed at quite a few rental homes and found Paul to be one of the most efficient and pleasant home owners I've dealt with.

  We had a wonderful time here celebrating my boyfriend's birthday. We spent the whole day in the pool with the waterfals flowing and the outdoor speakers on. Very quiet neighborhood, clean house, the most detailed and helpful "Guide to the House/Neighborhood" I have ever seen. At night, we floated on a big blowup raft in the pool and looked at the stars. It was the perfect getaway. Owners are very accomodating and friendly.

  Arrived in the middle of the summer (Temp was 114 degree's, but it was "A dry heat!") With our 2 dogs. The house cooled down quickly. The concrete floors were ideal for the dogs to rest on after a long day out exploring all that Palm Springs had to offer. We thought the amenities and price point were ideal. Would certainly use the house again whenever Palm Springs beckons us.

  Have you ever walked into a house that said welcome home please rest,relax and enjoy all I have to offer? This mid century modern treasure will do just that. The architectural detail, clean and open design and updated amenities give you a taste of the delightful Palm Springs life. Everything needed is provided and thoughtfully supplied by the owners. The view of the changing colors reflected off of Mt San Jacinto and the charming twinkle lights of the tramway at night entertain the eye. Centrally located, convenient to everything around the area and very quiet neighborhood of wonderfully restored Alexander mid century modern homes. We were able to go out for a day trip into the desert and return easilly and comfortably. However, the pool with waterfalls, hot tub, and outdoor fire pit in a very private and inviting landscape may entice you to remain at home. Recommend 'The Cowboy Way' for BBQ and 'Johns' for very good diner both nearby on Palm Canyon drive. The Spa Casino has a great buffet. This house and property offers everything needed for a wonderful, relaxing vacation.

  Four of us (two couples) spent a very relaxing, comfortable weekend in the house and we often wish we were still there! We grilled up a storm under the stars in the evening and relaxed in the sun by the pool during the day. The house is extremely private, quiet, and peaceful and has everything you could possibly need. The property has obviously been very lovingly maintained and the owners were a true pleasure to deal with. I can't write enough positive things about this house and our overall rental experience. If you're looking for a quintessential mid-century getaway in the desert, we highly recommend this place!

  I stayed here with a few friends for a nice getaway from the city. The house is very comfortable and well taken care of. Paul, the owner, was a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again.

  My husband and I stayed here last weekend and it was fantastic. The house is comfortable, stylish and in super great condition. We felt compelled to invite friends over before going out to dinner just so they could see how awesome the house was. The location is quiet, convenient to downtown and literally blocks from few fun bars and restaurants. Paul [landlord] is terrific and we really are amazed at what he has done with this house. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

  I contacted several owners in the Palm Springs area, and Paul responded within an hour. He was extremely prompt, thorough and conscientious during the entire process. We had an emergency that threatened our visit, but Paul stayed in contact and flexible during the days prior to the visit. As it turns out, we ended up visiting Palm Springs, and Paul could not have been more accommodating. Upon arrival, there was a nice note from the owners and a bottle of wine (the visit was to celebrate two momentous birthdays). The house itself is beautifully furnished, and everything we needed was there. We came with our dogs, and it was the perfect place to bring them to. We, along with them, immediately acclimated to the house. If you are fan of midcentury modern design, you will love this place. If you aren't a fan, by the time you leave, you will be. The owners remodeled the home based on the principles of midcentury design, and it's great to see a house brought back to life the way this house was. Paul and Dean did a great job, and the house lived up to my expectations — and more. The photos are a nice representation of the home, but the real thing is better! Everything was clean, and everything we needed for a relaxing vacation was within reach. Guides to area attractions and restaurants were a nice touch, and a brief history of the home was an educational bonus. We can't wait to come back. Thanks, Paul and Dean!

  we stayed here for two nights for our anniversary. we brought our two small children with us, and we all had a great time. the house was surprisingly easy to be in with small children and everything was clean and very well cared for. the owners just restored the house and it is clear how much quality and love they poured into the remodel. location was totally good for us, and the owner, paul, was such a pleasure to deal with. pool is gorgeous. really, no complaints at all.

  Fabulous Desert getaway house. No detail is forgotten in this charming restored post modern home. We had a wonderful family week lounging by the pool, fires in the evening. Every thing you need is here and the home is in immaculate condition. Decor gives you the old palm springs feel, where is Bob Hope? Can't wait to go back.

  This desert house is a perfect getaway in the heart of Palm Springs. It has everything to be desired, and upon arriving, appeared better than it had in the pictures! My 3 days there felt like a week away, and I had nothing left to be desired. Every detail about the house is inviting, and the pool/patio area was a slice of heaven. The iPod sound dock was a nice touch to be able to listen to your music outside while in the pool. The location is prime, and downtown Palm Springs is only blocks away. I'm trying to plan my next getaway to Palm Springs, and I should be so lucky to stay at the same house! Paul (the landlord) is a great guy, who will listen to any question or request you have.

  We just loved the house on George Drive! It looks even better when you get there than it does in the pics - exceeded all of our expectations, and Paul (the renter) is a total professional. Def. better and less expensive than staying in a hotel! Also, I would recommend getting the pool heating unless you are staying in the dead of summer. Can't wait to go back!

  My family and I spent a wonderful week at this home in Palm Springs. Everything you could possibly need is provided for by the thoughtful owners. It's close to everything, although we spent most of our time there enjoying the privacy and relaxing by the beautiful pool. Owners are so nice and there was great communication throughout the entire rental process. We look forward to returning many times to this wonderful property.

  The house was incredible. My fiance and I had wanted to go to Palm Springs for a while and after looking into all the resorts in the area - and choosing to stay here instead - I can't imagine ever wanting to go anywhere else. Not only did we have everything we needed and more, but the night sky from around the fire pit was glorious! Fun fun fun!

  My stay here was glorious! I was totally relaxed and felt very warm and comfortable in the home. All the amenities in the home functioned and everything was clean and in top condition. I truly had no desire to leave the house because I was so at ease and relaxed there. I did eventually go for a walk, but hurried right back to get into the pool! Excellent choice!

  This house was AMAZING!! It was very comfortable. It was furnished very stylishly. It had the right amount of technical equipment needed (cable, internet, i pod docking station, gas grill). The little flat screen televisions in the bedrooms were nice to have. The backyard was truly an oasis to relax and the headed pool was an added bonus! My friends and I are so excited to go back to this house next year!!
