Grand Champions Treehouse was great!

We loved the Treehouse studio. It had all of the necessary items and then some. We made use of the blender, full size fridge, and cozy lanai for dinner. The bedding is very comfortable as well as the fluffy couch. It also was very nice to have small extras like beach toys, aluminum foil for grilling at the pool, and magazines in the bathroom. I do have to say that the walls are very thin so if your neighbors are up, then so are you, but you are probably already awake because the birds are very loud. But the area is wonderful, the walk to the mall is short and beautiful, and overall the studio is updated, cozy, and fantastic.

We certainly enjoyed out stay at the TreeTop Studio. It was well equipped, a wonderful bed and some of the enemities we did not have to buy for the short stay we had. Examples: coffee, tea, paper products. Was happy we were able to meet Gail as we had many pleasant emails from her. She was so very helpful in every way. We would look to stay there on a return visit.

The treehouse studio was the perfect retreat for two! My daughter and I felt cozy and right at home with all the little extras included. The price was an exceptional value for the luxurious Wailea area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return again!!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and could not be more happy that we did. At first I thought I wanted to stay in a hotel, but I am SO happy we chose the Tree Top Studio instead. The grounds at the Grand Champions were kept so nice, beautiful flowers everywhere and the pools were perfect. The studio was decorated so cute! I loved all the vintage Hawaiian pictures and decor. The bed was beyond comfortable and the shower with the pebbles on the bottom was a nice touch. The studio had everything we needed for the beach, too! It was so nice to be able to bring umbrellas and beach chairs to make our stay at the beaches longer and more comfortable. Gail and Leon were so helpful and responsive, it was nice knowing they were so close by! Also, anyone staying here has to have dinner at Joe's, which is right by the tennis courts. We had our last night dinner there and it was amazing and literally in our backyard! So nice to have such a gem of a restaurant that close. I would stay here again in a heart beat.

I would recommend this property for two adults. The owners were very easy to deal with and put a great deal of care into making sure that the condo was clean, attractive and outfitted with anything one might need. The studio is located in a corner which is quiet and has a lovely view from its balcony. There were no negative surprises, only positive. The photo doesn't do the studio justice. The complex is very nice and well-maintained and the location close to beaches and a number of restaurants.

The Tree Top apartment is great. First off, it is really big. The living room is big and the kitchen is modern with all the supplies that you could need. The appliances and countertops are all new and spotlessly clean. The bathroom has both a tub and a stand up shower with a glass block divider. The washer/dryer are also handy if you have a longer stay in Maui. There was also two comfortable beach chairs, a cooler, a boogie board, an umbrella and some flotation devices. There are many great beaches a short car ride away. We went to Ulea Beach, Polo Beach and there is a beach just south of Polo beach which is beautiful and secluded. Gail, the owner, is very helpful. The instructions to access the place and nearby food and activities are thorough. She also put us in touch with a company to rent a pack and play from named Wild Wheel Wentals. They pick up and delivered right to the unit. The rest of the unit is very kid/toddler friendly. Our daughter loved cruising from one to the other. There are two pools in the complex, but we only went to one of them. There was also a hot tub next to this pool. The pool is close to the unit and was really all that busy. The only minor irritation was that it was a little hard to find sidewalks that continuously lead down to the beach. We had a stroller and had to do some off-roading. There might have been a path that we missed. However, we also had a rental car and it was easy to drive to the beach and find parking. Also all the units have Lanai's close to each other so you need to be respectful during quiet hours. If you like the upscale shops and properties, Wailea is for you. If you want more of the Maui vibe, you can take a short ride up to Kihei which is about 10 minutes away. There are great funky stores and awesome shave ice up there. Also make sure to do a snorkeling trip to Molokini. If you have a small child, I highly recommend having the parents go one at a time. The water can get really choppy and is not suitable for a young child. We had good luck with Maui Dive Shop. You can also rent gear and go snorkeling right off one the beach. Ulea Beach is very close and has great snorkeling. All in all, I would highly recommend you rent this place. The entire cost of our 3 day stay was about the same as what you would pay for one night in any of the resorts.

My husband and I had a wonderful trip while staying in the Treehouse Condo! We love the way the condo is decorated (vintage photos with an understated traditional Hawaiian feel) and the two of us felt very at home. The lanai backs up to beautiful trees, plants, and foliage and we woke every morning to the singing of the birds. Even w/out a full kitchen we were able to have our son and his girlfriend (residents of Maui) over for barbecue dinners (the barbecues are at the pools) and were able to prepare the complete meal and entertain on the lanai. The walk to the beach only took 10-15 minutes and we loved the exercise. The location is excellent and we felt very relaxed. On all of our other trips to the islands we have stayed in very nice hotels but to be honest this stay was much more relaxing. The owner, Gail, was wonderful to work with and we plan to return very soon!

We were pleasantly surprised with the Treehouse Studio. It was beautifully furnished, very clean, and comfortable. Although the kitchen was small, it had everything we needed. The poolside gas grills allowed us to grill our own dinners. The property is beautiful, well maintained and very close to great beaches and resorts in upscale Wailea, as well as to Kihei shopping. Other ammenities included handmade soaps, beach towel and chairs, and beach umbrellas. The small lanai had a treetop view of beautiful flowering trees and sometimes noisy birds. The owner was available for questions, and helpful when we needed anything. She was very prompt with booking and responses both before and during our stay. I would highly recommend this property, and we will very likely be back again. It is a very good value for the Wailea area.
