Ocean Palms is a Gated Condominium with Covered Parking (2 parking passes given per unit), situated in the midst of Beach Shops, local night life, the county park, and Great Restaurants. The Kitchen is stocked with every necessary cooking utensil and cookware. Initial commodities, HDTV, and wireless internet are included. TV and DVD Player in Living Room and All bedrooms!!
ALL BED LINENS, KITCHEN TOWELS, AND BATH TOWEL SETS ARE PROVIDED FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE!! You will only need to bring or plan to rent beach towels, chairs, bikes, umbrellas, etc. Also included is a "starter set" of toiletries such as toilet paper, bath & dish soaps, paper towels, etc. but please do keep in mind you may need to purchase these items after you arrive.
The great location, perfect family size, and reasonable price are by far a GREAT DEAL for a family beach vacation!! My family (2 adults and 4 kids - 14, 12, 9 & 6) had this place referred to us by some friends who stayed there before. I was nervous about staying in a place that I had never been, but was pleasantly surprised by this one. It was just as the pictures portrayed. We had a wonderful time. We stayed Sun - Thurs and had beautiful weather. Charleston is only about 20 minutes drive away and there are many things to see and do there. It is nothing like Myrtle Beach, so if you have ever been there and are looking for that, it isn't. It is much more laid back. No mini-golf or Ripley's museums or any of that type of activity. However, we weren't looking for that. We just wanted a nice place to relax at the beach and this was perfect. A day at the beach, Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream just a block away and Charleston nearby if that's what you want to do. I would recommend it to anyone. It was a lovely condo. The only downside I could think of was that the elevator was slow, but this place only two flights of stairs away so it wasn't bad at all. Have fun here and don't worry. It's great!
