    My wife and I stayed in this cottage from the 5 through the 15th of February 2013. The listing description was 'spot on' and Mary provided us with step by step location instructions. The appearance and amenities listed were as described and all in outstanding condition. The cottage was very clean and well maintained. Mary was very helpful in answering all questions and even recommended some places to dine that turned out to be very good. Mary was VERY helpful and accomodating....my wife has extreme allergic chemical sensitivity and Mary made sure the cottage was free of fragrances by washing and double rinsing everything prior to our arrival....my wife had absolutely no problems with her sensitivity while we were there. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone, including my close friends. While there, we dined at several restaurants, including Chuck's Last Stop, Skip One Seafood Market, The Yucatan, the Smoking Oyster Brewery, and Sweet Tomatoes (a long standing favorite of ours). All of these restaurants provided great seafood at reasonable prices. We also dined at the Fish House Restaurant on Fort Myers Beach, but found it overpriced for the amount of food you actually get and compared to other restaurants, the serving sizes were very small. Overall we had a great time and will return next year for more of the same!!

    Location, location, location best spot on the beach. Cozy to me means small (not at all) plenty of room, private and public beach right outside your door, view from deck and house unbeliveable, I can't think of anything missing from this vacation paradise. The owner was most helpful answering any and all questions we could come up with and gave us plenty of information so we were right at home from the very first second we were there. The only thing I would have changed about our total experience would have been to stay longer than we did. My whole family was totally impressed and we are already talking about making this an annual trip.

    Wonderful place. Very clean, roomy, and comfortable.The sand is so white. The porch over looking the ocean is beathtaking. Little beach pub right next door that plays music 10-10. Not loud ,great. Will be back next year. Grade 100 plus. Thanks Mary. Dwain and Candace

    We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend renting this house!. Let me start saying this is the cleanest house I have rented, I rented places before that either they were poorly cleaned to not cleaned at all, you absolutely will not have this problem with this house. The moment you walk in the door, you notice the clean smell and every surface is spotless (which is amazing since the fine, white sand although lovely makes it hard not to get it everywhere). The wonderful lady that cleans the house even stopped by on the second day of our stay to make sure everythign was ok and even filled the bucket by the staris with fresh water for us. Amazing customer service! The private beach are is just perfect, it garantees your spot in the beach during the day and it's great for a little barbecue at night, my dog simply loved to have that strech of sand for herself. You can actually rent jet skis in the little bar next door which keps teh music in a nice volume (not loud at all) and they stop playing music around 7 pm. Everything in the house is in perfect working conditions and it's clearly well maitained, you'll find everythng you need in the kitchen. The whole house is very good but I have to say that the front porch is definitely the best part of the house. The view is breathtaking and you can enjoy it from either the front porch of from the living room and sitting are while you enjoy the AC for those who are not accustomed to the Florida heat. The kitchen was fully equipped to cook meals and store food items. Our favorite part was the huge deck in the front of the house where we could sit and enjoy coffee and breakfast while overlooking the beach! We enjoyed every second of our vacation! Thank you for sharing your wonderful beach home with us!!

    We had a wonderful week renting this beach house!. The location is perfect within walking distance to everything in Times Square restaurants and shopping. We also enjoyed the music of the Beach Pub (which is a small tiki-style beach side bar) from 2-7 each day as we sat on the private beach area in front of the house. The beach area in front of the house is perfect....much less crowded than the areas in front of nearby resorts. It is in a great location to walk the white sandy beach too...about a mile and a half to the tip of the north end where there is a park area. Within steps, there are plenty of nearby para sailing, jet ski rentals, dolphin tours, banana boat rides, and boat rental opportunities. There were also plenty of great shells available on the beach to collect! The Beach House was clean, roomy, and exactly as described in the listing. The kitchen was fully equipped to cook meals and store food items. Our favorite part was the huge deck in the front of the house where we could sit and enjoy coffee and breakfast while overlooking the beach! There were plenty of chairs, loungers, beach toys, and tables available to use throughout our stay stored under the house. They provided plenty of seating for a comfortable day on the beach. The tiki hut located on the property provided shade for anyone who needed a break from the sun. We cannot say enough about this rental. From the excellent communication from the owner to the location and quality of the property, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We look forward to returning next year for another week in paradise! Thank you for sharing your wonderful beach home with us!!

    What a great cute and comfy beach treat! The house is even cuter than the photos and the beach setting is just wonderful. Watching the waves, the beach people was way more entertaining than my beach magazines. We could easily walk to Times Square for food and souvenir shopping. We adapted quite quickly to the beach life, then it was time to go home to the winter, up north. The owner was very helpful, quick to respond to questions. Thank you so much for sharing your vacation home with us.

    My husband and I were so happy with the accommodations and the gorgeous waterfront view this home provided. We had a great time enjoying the entertainment and dining along the beach! The house was great, very comfortable, with all the comforts of home. We can't wait to visit again and would gladly recommend it to all our friends. Thanks for a great time!

    2nd annual Girls week to same property. Spacious enough for the three of us. Awesome deck and views. Everythihng well maintained and clean. All appliances and household equipment in working order. Love the fact that this is gated and very private. Excellent as usual.... (beach chairs need some repairs or to be replaced, but other than that perfect vacation rental and will return again).

    Everything about this home and its surrounding were exactly what we came to Ft. Meyers Beach for...and the pictures we see on the internet are exactly why we came!!! The weather could'nt have been better...and relaxing at the end of the day on the deck facing the beach and the gulf was the perfect ending to every day. Will i tell my friends and family....well.....I'm trying to be very non-chalant because I want to keep this little gem all to myself...Just kidding ... we just cant keep this one to ourselves. THANK YOU !!!

    We just finished our week at this beach house and it was one of the best properties we have ever been to for vacation. When we first arrived, the entire home was absolutely spotless and was in immaculate condition.. The owner's are obviously meticulous and have good taste. The views are unbeatable. The spacious deck on the front offers a fantastic view of the Gulf. There are palm trees that plume right at the level of the deck, which really adds a tropical touch. This is a stilt home and is perfect for relaxing without getting all sandy from the beach. My 80-year old Mother just loved the view from that deck, and it was the perfect way to keep our small dogs close without worrying they could wander. The beach property is huge. The property shares a large beach with a few other homes and is incredibly spacious and open. It's like having your own personal Gulf beach....it's that big. This place really has it all...it is just down the beach from the pier (10 minute walk on the beach), and has the coolest little beach pub right next door. The music played all day, but wasn't too loud, and always stopped at 6-7PM. It's a 5-minute walk in any direction to a dozen good restaurants, and you can even ride your bike on the beach. We couldn't get enough...we will definitely be going back to this beautiful beach home again. Bravo to the owners...this is a gem.

    My family has rented this great home for the past 2 years during the first full week of April. This year I call to rent "our" week in 2011 only to find it's been rented out from under us...not even a call or e-mail to inquire if we were coming. Not the right way to handle business with past renters who leave the property in better condition than it's found. A very disappointing experience. Shame on you...

    Owner response: I understand my previous renters frustration but dissappointed that he chose to handle this in a negative manner. I as the home owner try to be fair to ALL of my inquiries and take rentals on a first come basis with a DEPOSIT to hold the property. All of my return renters leave a deposit to insure their date from year to year rental. As with any rental company a deposit is require to hold a date.
