This modern loft is perfect for the vacation or corporate traveler that needs easy access to Downtown, Townlake, 6th street, Warehouse District, Film Studios, High Tech companies, Airport, and Barton Springs. This condo is walking distance to grocery, coffee shops, bars and lounges, and many restaurants.

Within 3 minutes, You and Your Travel Partner, can be in the four thriving Entertainment Districts of Austin: 6th Street, Red River District, Warehouse District and the Market District, (west 6th street). Across the street is Bossa Nova, a Brazilian Coffee shop, or just down the street is Hot Momma's Coffee shop, and a few steps more is the Peacock Lounge, where you can grab a martini or a Lone Star Beer and dance the night away.

This Loft is located in the perfect area of Austin, Texas. There is plenty of street parking for your car, but if you must walk, there are restaurants, a grocery store, coffee shops, and a few bars within walking distance. It is also located on a major bus line. Because the Loft is Central, cab rides will be extremely affordable...no more than $5 to get downtown. By car, you can be Downtown, Lady Bird Lake, shopping in SOCO (South Congress) or 2nd street in less than 5 minutes. Austin-Bergstrom is only a 10 minute drive.

And when you're not out and about, you'll appreciate the Luxury and Quietness of this Loft. All counters are covered in Granite, Travertine Tile surrounds the Shower and Kitchen Back-Splash, and you'll enjoy the Modern Stainless Steel appliances as you cook dinner, make a cup of tea, or mix your favorite martini. Overall, we had a very great experience renting through VRBO and Charles. This was our first experience using VRBO and the entire process turned out to be very positive and hassle free.
Once in Austin, it was very easy to coordinate with Charles to come meet up and pick up the keys to the loft. Charles is very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. And showed us around the building and loft we were renting, leaving behind friendly instructions in case we forgot. The property was in excellent condition and very clean. It was well furnished with a nice clean style fit for an urban loft, and contained all the amenities that would be needed for a nice little holiday. The building was pretty new and all of the common areas were kept up very nicely as well. There was a coffee shop right across the street, which was very convenient. We had a very pleasant stay at the loft. All in all, we had a very good experience using VRBO and renting from Charles. Both are highly recommended.

By the way, I was very impressed to find my favorite sweater folded outside my door. I must have dropped it when I went to San Antonio for a few days to tour River Center and enjoy a dinner in the tower. I did not expect to see it again!

Why the Owner Chose Austin

I've been very interested in sustainable building and home sites that are done in a "green" way with walking distance to mass transportation, (buses and commuter train), close to the Central Business District, close to parks and outdoor recreation, and close to Grocery stores, coffee shops, restaurants, theaters, and lounges. This location fits all of these criteria!

The Unique Benefits at this Condominium

There is a great view from the balcony of these two nests built by the Monk Parrots from Argentina. Also, there's no need for a car while you stay at this place. It is walking distance to everything and walkable to mass transit as well. Even an airport shuttle that drops people off in front of the grocery store that is only two blocks from the Loft. And if you don't want to follow a mass transit schedule, cab rides are very inexpensive to Downtown; even the airport, which is only 10-15 minutes by car.
