This beautiful newly built home is the perfect vacation spot for entertaining with your family and friends. Relax and unwind, you're on vacation! Spend your days swimming in the saltwater pool or relaxing in the spa.
Featuring 3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms, a huge family room with vaulted cathedral ceiling, spacious kitchen with island, and dining area. The 2000 sq ft home is tastefully decorated by an interior designer, featuring upgraded 18" floor tiling, comfortable furniture, fresh paint and quality linens.
The living room features an entertainment center with flatscreen TV, DVD player, and a media library with hundreds of movies, including many children's titles. The fireplace is adjacent to the entertainment center. With a large sectional sofa and recliner chair there is lots of room for relaxing.
The kitchen is fully outfitted with new appliances, kitchen island & stools, microwave, coffee maker & toaster. Everything needed to entertain is available, including a large dinnerware and flatware set, knives, mixer, pots & pans and bakeware. .
The living room, kitchen and master bedroom all lead out to a large Covered Patio, adjacent to the saltwater pool/spa. The Patio has a BBQ/Grill, dining set, wicker conversational set and is wonderful for outdoor entertaining. There is a complete misting system for the really warm days. There is also an outdoor firepit to extend your outdoor living time year round.
The Master Suite has a beautiful Cal King bed with en-suite Bathroom, a huge walk-in Closet, and TV/DVD. It also has an office nook, with laptop and Wifi.
The Second Bedroom also has a Queen bed and TV/VCR, as well as a large double mirrored closet.
The Third Bedroom has a Twin bed and a Twin trundle bed, and TV/DVD/X-box game system, as well as a large double mirrored closet.
Both 2nd and 3rd bedrooms share the adjacent 2nd bathroom. There is also an inflatable queen bed available for additional guests, and a "pack n play" for an infant or toddler.
A short walk from the house takes you to a large park, with BMX ramps, kids play equipment, and sport courts. The home is located just 15 minutes from Palm Springs, and close to fabulous restaurants, wonderful designer outlet shops at Cabizon, casinos, street fairs (Thursday), flea markets (Saturday and Sunday), museums, music, movies, and theater. Great golfing is nearby at many locations, including the renowned Mission Lakes in Desert Hot Springs. Joshua Tree National park is 15 minutes away, with great walking/hiking and beautiful scenery. The home is located just two hours from Disneyland and Hollywood and four hours from Las Vegas.

Why the Owner Chose Desert Hot Springs
We love the desert as a vacation spot for our family. Our family and friends enjoy swimming, walkintg/hiking trails, dining at the great restaurants nearby, golf and relaxing. Desert Hot Springs is close to everything including the city of Palm Springs and we find that we have all we need for a great vacation at our vacation rental home. The view of the mountains and the stars at night is gorgeous. We love it, and you will too!
The Unique Benefits of this House
The greatest thing about our vacation house is the space. We like to invite friends and family to join us, and the house and backyard is very spacious so there's plenty of room for us all.
Our favorite thing to do at our vacation home is use the private pool and spa. For dinner we like to BBQ using the charcoal grill, and put on the firepit, which really extends the evenings. The view of the mountains and the stars at night is spectacular from our backyard.
Close by are lots of activities including golf, hiking in Joshua Tree, great shopping and lots of choices for casual dining or fine dining.

My family spent a week at this house in September and we love everything about it! The host was very flexible and accommodating. The house was very clean, refrigerator stocked with some beverages, and best of all we had a pool and spa to ourselves. We felt like this was our second home. We had breakfast in the patio while the kids played and splashed around in the pool. Evenings are stunning with the nice warm weather and backdrop of the sunset. We also enjoyed the open skies at night viewing the stars from the pool and spa. The neighborhood was very friendly and quiet. At the end of the street, there's a bike/skateboard park and basketball courts. The house was conveniently located to everything we wanted to visit - Joshua Tree, Outlet stores, golf courses, Discovery Museum, great restaurants in and around Palm Springs, movies, and a lot more. I would highly recommend this home.

The owner of this property will maximize your comfort at this home. She accommodated a late arrival (by a couple days!) due to a sick baby. She was flexible with check-in and check-out times. She stocked the refrigerator with all kinds of goodies for us, including bottled water, beer and wine. The neighborhood is working-class and quiet. It is an easy 20 minutes to the heart of Palm Springs. The property itself is kept immaculately clean. There is plenty of everything: bedding, towels, utensils, etc. There were games and toys that were enjoyed by our 1-year-old and our 4-year-old (but there was even more for older kids- if you've got 'em). The pool was delightful and very well-maintained. (Pool cleaners came twice during our week-long stay.) In sum, the price was quite reasonable, the property was great for families, it is so well-maintained, and the owner is as delightful as can be. I highly recommend this property.

How could I forget to mention the pool and spa?? It was amazing to walk out every morning to take a swim in our own private pool without anyone else in our space and then heat the spa up for an evening under the stars with peace and quiet. Soo many dreams came true on this holiday. Fantastic!

Kerrie and her home exceeded my expectations in every manner! I had originally planned to stay in a hotel for my visit to Desert Hot Springs, but was concerned about the noise level and privacy. We made an excellent choice to bypass the hotel and stay here. It was quiet, private, clean, comfortable and had everything needed and more. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, kitchen was great, DVD collection was extensive and the location was ideal. I took day trips to Palm Springs and Joshua Tree with ease. The house stayed a comfortable temperature regardless of it being 115 degrees outside one day. The showers were great and comfy couches to nap on in front of the TV. It felt like being in my own home. I recommend this home to anyone staying in the area. Here directions, info and help were an added bonus. Enjoy!

The house is very comfortable, extremely clean and upmarket. The swim pool and hot tub are beautiful, with lots of seating and space to hangout outdoors. The large kitchen is well stocked and outfitted and we were able to cook for 10 people quite easily, and the living and dining room is spacious and comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet with a great park on the street, which the whole family liked. You can view the stars from the patio, pool and hot tub which we enjoyed while using the outdoor fire pit. We had a great vacation! The house's location is quite close to the Cabazon Factory Outlet Stores which we actually visited twice during our weeks stay! By the way, the house is close to Joshua Tree Park and we loved hiking there. Kerri was friendly and accomodating from our first contact to the end of our stay. We highly recommend this home.

Two of us stayed at Kerrie's home in Desert Hot Springs Feb 17-19 and had a great time. The house was clean, spacious and well stocked with just about anything you could want - even down to shampoo, conditioner and toothpaste. Kerrie, the owner, was very easy to work with and VERY accommodating of our needs. Make sure you eat at Kaiser's in downtown Palm Springs! We would recommend this house and the area without hesitation.

We recently spent a week at this home and it was a great value for the a amenities.The home was well stocked and comfortable.The owner was very helpful in setting this up. It is a little drive to Palm Springs but considering the price it was well worth it. We would certainlly rent this property again.

This house is a perfect vacation retreat in the desert. It's truly a home away from home. We had everything we needed - board games, DVDs, cable, Xbox, and best of all a pool and spa! The house is very open and feels very spacious. Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Indio, and Joshua Tree are within minutes to the house. There are great restaurants and plenty of things to do. If you like to shop, there's a Premium Outlet in Cabazon about 20 minutes from the house. There are 2 golf courses in DHS. We would definitely come back and rent this house again in the future.

We just returned from our family vacation in D.H.S. Thanks for a great stay! The home was more spacious than the pictures showed and is perfect for a family with young kids. We found the location central to all the attractions we wanted - between Joshua Tree National Park, shopping at the outlets, the Living Desert Zoo, Indian Canyons, and the other desert cities. Palm Springs is a 10 min drive away. D.H.S. is a small town feel and there are some great restaurants in town once you look - we fell in love with Thai Palms Restaurant. Our two boys (5/7) appreciated the superior BMX/skate park just down the road, the XBox 360, games table, and huge movie selection. We appreciated the extra games/puzzle and especially the "Insider's Guide to Palm Spring Area" Book. The pool and spa were clean and very well maintained and we enjoyed our quiet evenings watching the stars from the hot tub, watching a flick or playing games. We also appreciated the little extra pool toys - ball, goggles, water weenies. The owner was very accommodating and responsive to our needs. There were some extra amenities provided to make the home/kitchen feel more established during our stay.
