This charming home has a true cabin/lodge feel and is located in Salt Lake County at the base of Little Cottonwood Canyon and is within one stop light or 15 minutes drive up the canyon to Snowbird and Alta ski resorts. Enjoy both mountain and valley views of Salt Lake City including sunsets over the Oquirrh mountains.
The living room has lofted vaulted ceilings, large windows, wood beams, a home entertainment center with 50” plasma TV/DVD, cable (with sports channels, plush XLarge sofa, card table, two reclining chairs, cozy wood burning stove, pool table that converts to ping pong and is open to the kitchen.
Kitchen features a fully-equipped chefs kitchen with granite countertops, eight foot bar/serving counter/cooking island, large eight person dining table, stainless steel five burner gas range, over-sized fridge with ice-maker, blender, toaster, coffee maker, rice cooker/steamer, mixer etc. Seating place-sets for 14-20 people.
Five bedrooms with a total of six queen beds. Loft overlooks living room and includes a bunk set (1 full, 1 double mattress). All bedrooms have their own TV/DVD. Main floor sitting area includes a pull-out queen bed.
Four bathrooms, four showers, two jetted tubs, four person slate steam room. Master bath is beautifully stone tiled.
Children’s playroom includes a TV/DVD, Nintendo with games, large bean bag, and children’s toys.
Home exterior accentuates the vacation cabin feel with mountain and valley views. Includes three decks, barbeque, HOT TUB, chairs, picnic table, gazebo and private wooded backyard with granite stone wall surrounding property.
Restaurants and shopping are within a five minute drive (includes 2 large grocery stores, fast food, pizza, SKI RENTAL, and convenience stores). Fine dining for Thai, Indian, Italian, French, Mexican, Chinese are within 10 minutes. Liquor store is also just 10 minutes away. Home includes a welcome book with directions and property owner recommendations.
We provide FREE HIGH SPEED WIFI INTERNET. There is a cordless phone in the kitchen area, and one more in the master bedroom. The kitchen phone also has an answering machine.

My wife and I love Utah and have particularly enjoyed this vacation home. Utah has some of the best snow on earth! We love this area so much we have purchased an additional home and now live in the same area within a couple of miles. Our vacation home has always rented well because of the location and the style promotes a cabin lodge feel that compliments an excellent vacation getaway.

Just a word of thanks for a wonderful place for a family get together. It's the first time we've been able to stay together all the time and we enjoyed all the amenities of the home. We are so scattered and it is hard to find a centrally located place without having to stay apart in Motels. What a blessing this week has been to our family and your beautiful house was the perfect place for us all to be together - to laugh, talk, dance, rest and just have fun! So beautiful and large enough that we could all sit together for meals & movies - yet so many quiet little spots to just go and be alone when needed. Thank you for the opportunity to stay in your lake house. Everyone was so happy here - one granddaughter loved your kitchen & cooked for us, one daughter & granddaughters had a ball dancing to loud music & playing pool, my grandson could roam all over the place with his Thomas the Train, 9 month old granddaughter loved being carried from room to room. The grownups loved the large beds & the lovely spots to drink coffee - or margaritas!! Your lake home is truly a beautiful place for family time and making wonderful vacation memories. We had a great time this past week. Your home was truly a home away from home. The beds are extremely comfortable. We had all we needed in the kitchen to feed and prepare meals for twelve. We were here last year this same week. This trip was even more relaxing and enjoyable. The children are so at home in your house. Thank you for making it so child friendly. The pool was fun everyday. The boating and fishing were extremely pleasant. The views here are awesome. This area is simply beautiful. Thank you so very much for opening up your home for the second year in a row. Thanks for sharing your home with us for the past 3 months. We have had the best vacation of our lives spending time with our daughter, husband & 4 grandchildren as well as with the many new friends in Marniers Landing. The result of this time puts us in a position that we will most likely build a home here in the next year & move from Oregon. Your home is very similar to the home we plan to build on our lot on the 10th Fairway so we were able to incorporat things we like into our plans. Who knows, you may want to rent to us again when we return to build. Best Wishes.
