One of the highest quality Copper lodging Ski In/Out options for the discerning traveler. A spacious and elegant home in a picture perfect setting nestled at the base of the mountain. With its base at 9600 feet, Copper Mountain has more snow for more months than most resorts in Colorado. It's conveniently located within 2 hours of the Denver Airport on I-70. In addition to great skiing and snowboarding, Copper has tubing, cross country ski trails, ice skating, hiking trails, fishing, golf, mini-golf, go carts, downhill mountain biking, a gym, pool and spa all at the resort. Just minutes away there are horse stables, guided and unguided snowmobile and ATV rentals, whitewater rafting, rock climbing and much more.
Our spacious 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom townhome has unobstructed views of the mountain and pine forest and is located in the quiet, family section of Copper known as West Village (formerly Union Creek). The Union Creek high speed chair lift is located 200' from our home behind a bank of trees (see map in Photo Gallery). This new lift makes for a true ski out experience. You may also choose to ski down to the lifts in Center Village. The new Bridgeway Trail allows you to ski to within 100’ of our door. If the kids are going to the Ski School it's only a 1 minute walk from our unit. In the summer, the creek running through our backyard defines tranquility. With 2700 s/f of living space, our unit is 600 s/f larger than the older 4 BR units in phase one. Park in our 2 car heated garage (+1 spot in driveway and remote free parking) and walk 1000' to the restaurants, bars, and shops in Center Village. West Village also has Equipment Rentals, Retail, a Restaurant and Guest Services (which sell lift tickets) all 1 minute away.
Our home has high–end finishes yet is warm and cozy. Keeping all of your gear organized will be easy with our numbered storage areas and professional 19 pair boot/glove dryer. There is a second washer/dryer for your convenience. The kids can keep occupied in their two private play areas while the adults hang out in the main living area or enjoy the private hot tub which faces the mountain and the stars. Each bedroom has a 46” LCD TV with every movie channel, DVR, 2 X-Box 360's, PS3, Blu-ray/CD/DVD, I-Pod Dock, and more. There are 2 desks/work areas complete with computers for surfing the web and checking e-mail (no downloading). There is free high speed Wi-Fi, free local and long distance calls/faxes. We can provide you information to have your rental gear delivered to the home. If you’re a smoker or enjoy an après ski drink, do so on the deck in comfort under our 50,000 BTU gas umbrella heater. We supply all of your Paper Towels, Toilet Paper, Facial Tissue, Dish Soap, Dishwasher Detergent, Laundry Soap, Garbage Bags and all Cleaning Supplies. My family chose this home for our visit after researching numerous similar options at Copper. We have stayed in all of the areas of the resort and have been skiing as a family - 3 generations - for nearly 40 years. We all agreed that this home was perfect - location, layout, furnishings - best ski house with the best setup for skiing we've ever stayed in. Our kids enjoyed the bunk bed room (with their own TV/remote); the kitchen, bar and dining area are wonderfully designed for family meals and conversation. My father and I were impressed that we could park our Suburban in the garage with two ski boxes on the roof and a rear hitch box attached - a first for our family - and even the garage is beautifully appointed for ski/pole storage and heated. The location is ideal for those with skiers in lessons as they are a few steps away from the ski school as well as novice/beginner skiers with the Union Creek quad chair also a few steps away. Just as important, Jim and his "team" of folks who organized the stay are thorough, thoughtful and very attentive. No detail is too small and nothing goes unresolved. Not only do we highly recommend this home and its owners/management, but we will definitely look to stay here again on future visits!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children.

My family of five travelled to Copper while our children attended a race camp at the mountain. I'm in real estate and my husband is a builder, so we thought we had seen alot in regard to rentals...This unit blew us away in truely having everything we needed and in perfect condition. Enjoyed a Thanksgiving feast from the kitchen and the hot tube was wonderful as we found our "ski" legs. Two thumbs way up!!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children.

You won't find a better stocked, better appointed townhome! Everything you need is provided, such as paper towels, toilet paper, well stocked kitchen, televisions everywhere, sound systems, computers, maps, Carmex, boot dryers, hooks to hang everything to keep it out of your way, location is steps away from the lift and if you have beginners, they can get in and out easily. Four families (3 generations!) stayed at the wonderful home for 5 nights and had a GREAT time. Just as advertised, the home is extremely close, just steps, to ski school and lifts. The owner has clearly put a TON of time and attention into making sure the home has everything you could possibly need, including all of the information you could need. We cooked every night for all of us and had everything we needed by way of dishes and gadgets and then some! The views are amazing, and the inside is just as wonderful. Every room is extremely well appointed with all electronics, great linens, and beautiful decor. The bathrooms are just as nice! We enjoyed the hot tub and the boot/glove drier and all of the space to store our gear. With so many, including a 4 and 6 year old, it was a great comfort to have a place for everything so we could get going quickly each day. The common rooms are spacious enough for everyone to be together, but there is still a lot of privacy for the bedrooms and baths. Instructions for using everything are easy to find and understand so that you can use all of the great ammenities. The home and owner are wonderful! We can't wait to get back!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

Three families stayed here together, six adults and six kids. We had plenty of room together and apart. The facility has been nicely upgraded with appliances, electronics, and just about everything to make a ski vacation enjoyable and convenient. We would stay here again.Recommended for: Families with young children.

This townhome has everything you would ever need for a family vacation! The location is perfect - sitting at the base of the mountain lets you hike, bike and walk to Copper with ease. Sitting on the balcony for our morning coffee and for happy hour in the evening was some of our favorite times! The amenities are excellent, everyneed has been carefully thought out, and there are many extras- which make your trip more enjoyable...large dining table, hot tub, top quality A/V systems, two car garage - even some that dont seem important - but we used all the time- ie: Intercom thoughout the house - it was awesome for mealtime!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

We enjoyed staying here very much! We were 2 families and had 4 children in age from 3 to 16. The house is in a great location, an easy walk to get ski rentals and to the lift. This house is very well equipped and comfortable. We recommend it!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! That describes everything about this townhome! All of the furnishings, decor, and all of the details that Jim has put into this home are perfect! My family and I loved this place! Even though everything was of the highest quality, it always felt warm and cozy. All the extras just added to a wonderful vacation, such as the game systems, TV's, outdoor heater, storage for ski equipment, rain shower, hot tub and more. Everything was so well organized in the townhome that we wasted no time looking for things. The location is fantastic! Short walk to the ski lift and a beautiful view from every window! My family and I would definetly recommend this townhome and hope to stay here again!!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We stayed at this beautiful townhome in December and had a wonderful time. Everything is very well thought out and comfortable from the bedrooms, baths and kitchen to the living areas. The kids loved having their own spaces away from the adults and the adults loved having some alone time as well, but there was plenty of space for us all to be together.Did you find this review helpful? About the owner: My name is Jim Newsome and I am the owner of the property you are interested in. My wife Eileen and our 4 teenage sons love our vacation homes in both Florida and Colorado but we can't be there as often as we would like. My blessing and curse is that I am an anal retentive perfectionist. Although this maybe a character flaw when it comes to personal relationships, it is a huge asset in business. All of our guests appreciate my attention to detail, design, organization and cleanliness. I am always available to answer any questions and give guests the info they need to make their trip great. My goal is to make our 2nd home feel like your second home.
Why the Owner Chose West Village (formerly Union Creek):
Copper is a great mountain for families because its easy to get around and the kids can ski back to the house on their own without getting lost.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome:
Having a creek 50' away and a chair lift 200' away is the best of both worlds. You can get to anywhere on the mountain from our home.
