Location: London, Kentucky, USA
Accommodations: Cabin, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath (Sleeps 4-5)
Come and enjoy these two 100+ year old authentic log cabins. Relocated from the Cumberland Mountains and put on the shore of Wood Creek Lake in the setting of the Daniel Boone National Forest. Both cabins have been restored and updated and are waiting for you to experience the past with modern comforts. The cabins are rented together and sleep total 8-10. Both cabins can also be rented with the lakehouse (listing #7365 see "all my listings" link below) and would sleep 18-22. All three places are the last properties at the end of the road and are behind property gate for privacy.
For the fisherman, the boater and sight seer who longs to escape the recreational lakes of skiers and see-doos, Wood Creek Lake is for you. We offer a calm water atmosphere with fishing and pontoon boats sailing the clear waters surrounded with reflections of verdant forest and rugged cliffs. Wood Creek Lake holds the state record for the largemouth bass and is home to the bass family, rainbow trout, bluegill, crappie and channel catfish.
If fishing is not for you, take a scenic pontoon excursion up and down the many coves on the lake. If you don't have a boat, we can have a pontoon at your dock just steps away for you to take out morning, noon or night. For the large groups renting all three places, two pontoons can be rented.
