Located on 3 lush acres with incredible mountain views and a babbling stream this is the perfect place to hang your hat while enjoying a luxurious vacation! This 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom guest home has all the luxury you would expect in a high – end vacation rental.
Built by the owners for family retreats and rarely available, this is a great opportunity to experience a tranquil vacation. The guest house spared no detail in being built- hardwood floors, heated bathroom floors, rock gas fireplace, vaulted ceilings, rustic timber logs, finished with tasteful furnishings. Imagine watching elk migrate from your front deck, watching a fox prance through the meadow and hearing the coyotes howl at the evening sunset. This is surely a vacation you will remember! Property has its own private parking area and the main house is completely separate from the guest house. Both bedrooms have queen beds and the loft has a steep ladder that has 2 twin beds - the loft is not suitable for young children.
This property is located in the South Jackson area - it is only a 12 minute easy drive from Jackson's town square and about a 20 minute drive to the ski area. It has a wonderful country feel and the wildlife viewing is outstanding - fox, moose, elk, coyotes, and Trumpter Swans are frequently seen on the property.

Why the Owner Chose Jackson
This is our guest house which is on the same 3 acre property as our main home. We built this in 2008 for guests to visit and give visiting guests privacy from our main home. We bought our main home because this is an ideal location to escape the bustle of the town square and enjoy what Jackson is really about - beautiful views, abundant wildlife, trickling streams and grassy meadows. This property offers a peaceful setting but is very convenient to town.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin
It is typical to view flocks of trumpter swans flying overhead - especially in the fall. This property is on a major bird corridor so we seem to always have owls, eagles, hawks and ducks around the property. In addition, in the fall and spring herds of elk migrate through the property and about once a week in the winter a Silver Fox can be spotted in the meadow. The property has great views and a pond and meadow that is fun to cross.

We have have been lucky enough to live in Jackson over 12 years and know the valley very well. We both are real estate brokers and are in our late 30's and have 2 well behaved dogs. We are a very quiet family and usually at work most of the time or out enjoying Jackson. We love to hike, garden, ski, river raft and travel.

Top notch. We definitely would recommend this property. Our daughters asked if we could take the cabin home with us, they loved the loft sleeping. The property is accurately described and reflected in the photos. Everything is in order and well maintained. Many personal touches. Our first visit to Jackson Hole and we were hooked! Our 3 small children loved the mountains and especially looking out every window of the guest house to see nothing but beautiful country and mountains. Lovely. Everything was as perfect as described and more than exceded our expectations. Very comfortable, very clean, very warm & inviting. We fell in love with the place (Silver Fox AND Jackson Hole!), and our kids fell in love with Rosco & Leo. They have now named their stuffed animal puppies after them. Clearly, this place was special to all of us. Thank you!!!

My family & I vacatined in Jacksin Hole for the first time this past July. We were lucky enough to have the good fortune of discovering the Silver Fox Guest House on the VRBO website. Christy & Garth were soooo hospitable & trust me...... That's a BIG compliment from a Southerner( we pride ourselves in being good hosts). The guest house was imeccably clean, beautifully decorated, & of the utmost comfort & convenience! We also all gloried in the pleasure of being visited by C & G's 4-legged children, Rosco & Leo!! They were friendly & made us feel right at home. The country there was heaven-sent & beautiful, but can't be beat by the Silver Fox's hospitality & hominess!!

The extra touches definitely made it more enjoyable like the robes, washer/dryer (laundry detergent provided), plus the travel size toiletries were handy until we were able to get to the store and more.
