Come to Big Canoe and leave your cares behind! This serene and peaceful 8000 acre mountain community an hour north of Atlanta is the perfect weekend getaway, family vacation location, golf destination, or wedding venue.

Our beautiful home is located on the 7th Hole of the Creek Golf Course and is close to all amenities. The main level consists of a beautiful family room with stacked stone wood-burning fireplace, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, the master bedroom, and a half bath. The family room has a wall of windows looking out over the golf course as well as mountain views. There is an HDTV in the room with a DVR for recording your favorite programs. Off of the family room there is a large screen porch with a table to sit four as well as a large deck with another eating area to sit four. The kitchen has Corian countertops, refrigerator with thru-door ice and water dispenser, dishwasher, built-in microwave, and smooth top range. There are a full size washing machine and dryer located behind bi-fold doors. Between the kitchen and the family room, there is a large dining table with eight chairs. The master bedroom has a king bed and two separate closets. There are several windows to let in the natural light. The master bathroom has a dual vanity and large oval shaped jetted tub.

The upstairs consists of two bedrooms joined by a jack-and-jill bathroom and an open loft area overlooking the family room. One bedroom has a queen bed while the other has two twin beds. The loft has a queen sleeper-sofa.

The terrace level has a large open game room complete with a slate pool table and comfortable TV watching area with two sofas. There is a large wall of windows that looks out onto the golf course. The bedroom has a queen bed and several windows, making it light and airy. There is also a full bath that can be accessed directly from the bedroom or the game room.

Big Canoe is a spectacular gated golf and tennis community located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia. Amenities include a 27 hole championship golf course, ten tennis courts, new fitness center featuring indoor pool, racquetball, exercise equipment, aerobics, snack bar and professional health services including facials, massages, pedicures and more.

The swim area includes a lake with sandy beach, pool, waterfall rock slide, canoes, paddle boats and beach volleyball. We have three lakes for boating, fishing and swimming. There are miles of hiking and jeep trails with picturesque waterfalls. There is a baseball/softball field, a soccer field, basketball courts, and playground in the new Wildcat area of Big Canoe. Several wonderful restaurants are nearby and catering is available. Close to antique shopping, outlet mall, site-seeing, river rafting, speed boating, horseback riding, and more.

  • In attempt to get away from the FL summer heat, our family rented this home for 3 weeks and had the time of our lives. Allen and Nancy are great to work with. No unexpected "surprises" when we arrived. The house is incredible, clean and has plenty of space for everyone. The home is in a central location close to all the amenities. BIG CANOE is awesome for people of all interests- while we were there we enjoyed great hikes, swimming at both pools, the rockslide, paddle boats, canoes and swimming at the lake. If you like Mexican food, Fuego is the place to go. It is located right out the back gate. If you want to get away from it all but still have a lot to do, I highly recommend this fabulous Big Canoe home.

  • we recently spent a week in this lovely home with our two dogs...how special to be able to bring them with us as there are so many terrific hikes on the property we were so pleased with how clean and beautifully decorated everything was we have rented in big canoe several times before and this has been the very best experience love the golf course view and the trip to the amenities is just minutes if you are a couple or a larger group this is the most comfortable home with the privacy of three floors what else can i say it was great!!!

  • We loved staying in this beautiful home in Big Canoe! The mountains of north Georgia are beautiful year round, which makes for a peaceful, refreshing getaway. The home is on the golf course, and is very conveniently located to the lakes, fitness club and hiking trails. Every room is beautifully decorated... there's a fireplace...pool table... big comfy beds.... We loved it!!

  • Our weekend in Big Canoe was a much needed break from the Atlanta rat race. Your home was beautiful and comfortable. We really enjoyed the trails and scenery around the area.
