When you book with us and return the signed rental agreement, all we ask for is your credit card number to hold the reservation. No deposit is ever billed. Once your stay is complete and the provisions of the rental agreement have been met, there is no other transaction required. If for some reason, some of the provisions are not met, the maximum that would be charged to your card to cover the cost is $200 (the standard deposit amount required).
If you don't like to use credit cards for your rental transactions, just put a $200 check in the mail along with your signed rental agreement. I will hold the check until your stay is complete. Again, if the provisions of the agreement have been met, I will either return or destroy your check, whichever you prefer.
Our beautiful home is located on the 7th Hole of the Creek Golf Course and is close to all amenities (note - cost of amenities is not covered in rental cost). The main level consists of a beautiful family room with stacked stone wood-burning fireplace, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, the master bedroom, and a half bath. The family room has a wall of windows looking out over the golf course as well as mountain views. There is an HDTV in the room with a DVR for recording your favorite programs. Off of the family room there is a large screen porch with a table to sit four as well as a large deck with another eating area to sit four. The kitchen has Corian counter tops, refrigerator with thru-door ice and water dispenser, dishwasher, built-in microwave, and smooth top range. There are a full size washing machine and dryer located behind bi-fold doors. Between the kitchen and the family room, there is a large dining table with eight chairs. The master bedroom has a king bed, flat panel TV and two separate closets. There are several windows to let in the natural light. The master bathroom has a dual vanity and large oval shaped jetted tub.
The upstairs consists of two bedrooms joined by a jack-and-jill bathroom and an open loft area overlooking the family room. One bedroom has a queen bed while the other has two twin beds. The room with the twin beds has a TV/DVD player and DSL connection with wifi throughout the house. The loft has a queen sleeper-sofa.
The terrace level has a large open game room complete with a slate pool table and comfortable TV watching area with two sofas. There is a large wall of windows that looks out onto the golf course. The bedroom has a queen bed and several windows, making it light and airy. There is also a full bath that can be accessed directly from the bedroom or the game room.
The swim area includes a lake with sandy beach, pool, waterfall rock slide, canoes, paddle boats and beach volleyball. We have three lakes for boating, fishing and swimming. There are miles of hiking and jeep trails with picturesque waterfalls. There is a baseball/softball field, a soccer field, basketball courts, and playground in the new Wildcat area of Big Canoe. Several wonderful restaurants are nearby and catering is available. Close to antique shopping, outlet mall, site-seeing, river rafting, speed boating, horseback riding, and more.

My family rented this property and I can not say enough good things about it or the renter! Big Canoe has so many wonderful things to do! One tip- pack wisely, its a long trip into town just to run go grab something! Allen worked with us when another property fell through at last minute and I was very pleased. He is very prompt to return any messages. We travel often and stay in many places, I would highly recommend this property.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Good location, lots of room, clean as a pin, well equipped kitchen and owners who obviously care! You really couldn't ask for more from a vacation rental. Communication with the owner on policies, and payments was super. A much larger house than it appears, and if i have a regret, it is only we didn't play a game on the pool table downstairs.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Seventh Heaven is a wonderful place to stay at Big Canoe. The property is beautifully decorated, clean and well maintained, in addition to being centrally located. The owners are extermely helpful in answering questions and are also quick to respond to questions. We will rent from Allen and Nancy again and have already recommended this property to friends from southeast GA.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We enjoyed our stay at Seventh Heaven. The property description was accurate and the house was very nice. We especially enjoyed having the terrace level to separate the kids and adults. Second time staying at one of Pye's rentals . Great location awesome foliage just off the 7 th fairway We enjoyed every minute of this week's vacation .The house was decorated so nice so inviting for the fall season. we love staying at Big Canoe we just love the area , we will be back again and hope to stay at The Pye's rental . always spotless ,fully stocked with everything you need all you have to bring is your clothes !!! Our family members from Minnesota stayed at Seventh Heaven for two nights to attend a family wedding at the Chimneys . The house was ideal for our group who ranged in age from 20 to 75. The younger cousins enjoyed the game room / pool table in the lower level. The wi-fi worked great and was much appreciated. The home was extremely roomy and comfortable. Allen was always prompt in his replies. The information we received from Allen was clear and covered everything we needed to know. I'm hoping that my husband and I can return to Seventh Heaven for a week of golf and sight-seeing. Would definitely recommend this property.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

This is the second time I've rented from the Pye's. The first time was at one of their other properties, but both experiences have ensured that I will always try to rent from them first when I go to Big Canoe. They are very easy to work with and the process is so smooth. The house has everything that is needed and great for groups of people. It is always clean, kid-friendly, and I love the decor. The only thing I would recommend to the owners is to consider darker/heavier drapes in the bedrooms to keep some of the sunlight out in the morning. But, that is just a minor suggestion. I would strongly recommend renting Seventh Heaven to anyone interested in going to Big Canoe.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

This house looks small but it is not small. It really surprises you. It is new, very clean and comfortable in all ways. I liked the fact the car was parked in front and made it so easy to unload/load. The owner was excellent in all ways. We didn't have any problems at all and Allen was great in all communications. I am planning on staying again because it was so pleasant and a nice , nice place to stay.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Big Canoe is a beautiful place to stay! Overall, we were very satisfied with the house. It was extremely clean and pleasant to stay in. Houses are close together ( not detected in angle of photo) in this section of Big Canoe leaving limited parking but worked out ok for my party. Loved the big dining table and large windows in living area. Would have enjoyed a larger tv in the main room. Suggest that instructions for tv be left in a visible place. Had trouble with connectivity for computer use - only available for last hours of our stay. We enjoyed brunch at Lake Sconti clubhouse.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway.

About the owner: We live in north Atlanta in the Sandy Springs/Dunwoody area. We are five minutes from everything the Perimeter Mall area has to offer as well as ten minutes to the Buckhead/Lenox Square area. We are also only one hour from our rental properties in Big Canoe..
Why the Owner Chose Big Canoe:
We love the mountains and it's so close to Atlanta. Many mountain communities are several hours from Atlanta, but Big Canoe is only one hour. It's a short drive but you feel so much more relaxed at Big Canoe, away from the hustle and bustle.
