Do you like paying a hefty deposit for a rental months away and your money is tied up until your stay is complete? I didn't think so. I have a different approach to security deposits that I'm finding people really like...
When you book with us and return the signed rental agreement, all we ask for is your credit card number to hold the reservation. No deposit is ever billed. Once your stay is complete and the provisions of the rental agreement have been met, there is no other transaction required. If for some reason, some of the provisions are not met, the maximum that would be charged to your card to cover the cost is $200 (the standard deposit amount required).
If you don't like to use credit cards for your rental transactions, just put a $200 check in the mail along with your signed rental agreement. I will hold the check until your stay is complete. Again, if the provisions of the agreement have been met, I will either return or destroy your check, whichever you prefer.

Our beautiful home is located on the 7th Hole of the Creek Golf Course and is close to all amenities. The main level consists of a beautiful family room with stacked stone wood-burning fireplace, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, the master bedroom, and a half bath. The family room has a wall of windows looking out over the golf course as well as mountain views. There is an HDTV in the room with a DVR for recording your favorite programs. Off of the family room there is a large screen porch with a table to sit four as well as a large deck with another eating area to sit four. The kitchen has Corian countertops, refrigerator with thru-door ice and water dispenser, dishwasher, built-in microwave, and smooth top range. There are a full size washing machine and dryer located behind bi-fold doors. Between the kitchen and the family room, there is a large dining table with eight chairs. The master bedroom has a king bed, two separate closets and a flat panel TV. There are several windows to let in the natural light. The master bathroom has a dual vanity and large oval shaped jetted tub.
The upstairs consists of two bedrooms joined by a jack-and-jill bathroom and an open loft area overlooking the family room. One bedroom has a queen bed while the other has two twin beds. The loft has a queen sleeper-sofa. There is a TV/DVD player and a DSL connection in the room with twin beds as well as wifi throughout the house.
The terrace level has a large open game room complete with a slate pool table and comfortable TV watching area with two sofas. There is a large wall of windows that looks out onto the golf course. The bedroom has a queen bed and several windows, making it light and airy. There is also a full bath that can be accessed directly from the bedroom or the game room.
Big Canoe is a spectacular gated golf and tennis community located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia. Amenities include a 27 hole championship golf course, ten tennis courts, new fitness center featuring indoor pool, racquetball, exercise equipment, aerobics, snack bar and professional health services including facials, massages, pedicures and more.
The swim area includes a lake with sandy beach, pool, waterfall rock slide, canoes, paddle boats and beach volleyball. We have three lakes for boating, fishing and swimming. There are miles of hiking and jeep trails with picturesque waterfalls. There is a baseball/softball field, a soccer field, basketball courts, and playground in the new Wildcat area of Big Canoe. Several wonderful restaurants are nearby and catering is available. Close to antique shopping, outlet mall, site-seeing, river rafting, speed boating, horseback riding, and more.

Why the Owner Chose Big Canoe
We love the mountains and it's so close to Atlanta. Many mountain communities are several hours from Atlanta, but Big Canoe is only one hour. It's a short drive but you feel so much more relaxed at Big Canoe, away from the hustle and bustle.
The Unique Benefits at this House
We enjoy playing golf on the 27-hole championship golf course as well as visiting the wonderfully equipped fitness center. We love the full-body massages given at the fitness center. There are many hiking trails that the dogs (and humans) love to explore.
21.9 Miles Very nice outlet mall located in Dawsonville. Also, many other shops and restaurants in the area.
13.2 Miles State park with beautiful falls, lodge, cottages, campsites and plenty of hiking trails.

We live in midtown Atlanta in a work/live/play area known as Atlantic Station. We walk to the grocery store, movie theater, shopping, restaurants, etc from our home. We are minutes from the Fox Theater, Piedmont Park, Peachtree Street and many other interesting areas of Atlanta. We are also only one hour from our rental properties in Big Canoe.

Great house! We went for a girls scrapbook weekend and it worked perfect for us. It was very clean and had plenty of space. The owner was very responsive to questions we had before arrival. We will definately come back for our next getaway!

We spent the New Year's weekend at this comfortable Big Canoe home, and I would highly recommend this property to anyone who is thinking about visiting the area. The owner is very easy to communicate with and is responsive to requests and concerns. The house is well-appointed and was a good fit for our group. We especially enjoyed the outdoor living areas. The deck was a great spot for early morning coffee and afternoon happy hour. We look forward to a return visit!

We had a wonderful weekend at Seventh Heaven. The pictures don't do the home justice-it is so comfortable and had everything we needed for a nice weekend away. The views are wonderful and it is so peaceful and relaxing. We'd been traveling for a couple of weeks and it was so nice to be able to cook our meals and enjoy them as if we were at home. If we get back to Big Canoe we would stay here again.

My daughter was married at the Chapel on 9/17! This was a perfect location! So close to the chapel and the Chimneys! We had the bridesmaids luncheon here on Friday! The decor was SO pretty..decorated for fall! I have 4 boys and they loved the pool table in the basement. Plenty of dishes, linens and towels!! Owners allowed for an early check in which was fabulous!! Would love to return and enjoy at our leisure!! Thank you!!!

The descriptions do not do justice to this luxury house. It has everything you need for a great holiday, wi fi, lots of indoor and outdoor space, screened outdoor space to keep out the mossies in the hot evenings, full kitchen and laundry facilities. Plenty of indoor space and bathrooms. Resort is also brilliant for swimming, canoeing, fishing. What more do you need? Allen is also easy and efficient to deal with Would highly recommend house and resort

The house is extremely comfortable and well maintained, with Master-type bedrooms on all three levels. The view is lovely and it is convenient to almost everything Big Canoe has to offer and is easy to reach. The owner is easy to contact and most helpful.

Our visist to 7th Heaven in June of 2011 was awesome. The home was very clean and well equipped. It was more than we expected. We loved the view from the deck. We would certainly stay there again and our guest were very pleased.

Having our family together this w/e was wonderful. The house is beautiful, spacious, & well maintained. The terrace level Game/TV Room is artfully decorated. The pool table is great, and we enjoyed some very interesting and competitive billiards matches. We all, and especially our grandchildren enjoyed the beach, swimming pools, rock slide, and hiking trails. It was an action packed w/e. Good times!! We would highly recommend this property.
