Third level hosts a stunning great room. It includes vaulted ceilings and ocean views. 46" Sony Flat Screen TV with Blue Ray Disc Player in great room. Dinners and entertaining will be a breeze in the gourmet tiled, fully-equipped, washed oak kitchen with breakfast island. The turret offers a large dining area with ocean views, total seating for 12. Large open living is a masterpiece of design and execution for entertaining or relaxing! Private master suite on third level offers a king bed, flat screen TV, dvd player, private bath with two person jetted tub, ceiling fan, and private sundeck.
Second level - Classy family room with flat screen TV, leather sofa & covered deck overlooking the happenings of the street. This level hosts three bedrooms: roomy MASTER SUITE w/handicap assessible private bath, queen deluxe bed, sitting area and flat screen TV; JR. MASTER SUITE bedroom has queen-size deluxe bed, flat screen TV, and own private deck; third bedroom hosts TWO SETS of bunk beds and a flat screen TV. In addition, this floor features another FULL, flip flop themed BATH. For your convenience a full size washer and dryer is located adjacent to all rooms on the level.

The Castle was custom built my husband, Ted is 2002.It was a dream come true. We had so much fun designing it. Although it is our home, while you're on vacation we want you to feel like it is yours too. So come see why it's not just another home, but the Castle. "The King is the king, until the Queen arrives."
Why the Owner Chose Ship Bottom
We came to 14th Street in 1985, and never left. The location offers quick access to the beach, yet close to the Causeway Bridge too.

Had a wonderful time with our family at the "Castle" in Ship Bottom, Long Beach Island. The home is beautiful, very clean, well-equipped for cooking, and most convenient to the beach. It is only three houses away from the beach. The owner was very helpful with her notes and suggestions in the binder left at the house. The listing is accurate regarding the location and appearance of the rooms. I would highly recommend this home for you to vacation with your family.Ship Bottom is a quiet community and very convenient to the bridge for going to food stores, etc. Much traffic on Saturday but the rest of the week is fine.The elevator in the house is a great convenience when you bring in the food or your luggage. Would be great for someone who is disabled.

We just returned from our trip to LBI and I cannot say enough about it! The house was perfect for a large family (even on a rainy day!)The house was so clean and spacious and every room was decorated beautifully and stocked with all the supplies you could possibly want or need. It felt like it was our home on LBI. Everything about this trip was enjoyable from the planning (the owners are a pleasure) to the clean up (the couple that helps the owners at checkout were also a pleasure) Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home with us. The Castle is a beautiful, spacious home only a few houses from the beach, large enough for several families to share. We have made some great memories here and hope to continue that tradition! The owners are a pleasure to deal with as well.

To the King and Queen of the Castle, This is defintely a Castle inh the sand, by the sea, but by no means a sandcastle. The craftmanship, workmanship was done with skill and love. The decorations were done with flare, love for the sea, and the wildlife. The two of you thought of everything, from the young to the old (elevator), plus beach chairs. Thank you for rescuing us at the last minute. This was by far our best shore stay. The weather was great, the water warm and star gazing on the roof was great. Relaxing for those who work and not to much noise from the kids during "homework" hour.

Great house and brilliant location! We enjoyed the week very much and look forward to sharing our experience of LBI with our friends back in England! Maybe we should stay for a tatnight( that's two weeks) next year!
