Had a wonderful time with our family at the "Castle" in Ship Bottom, Long Beach Island. The home is beautiful, very clean, well-equipped for cooking, and most convenient to the beach. It is only three houses away from the beach. The owner was very helpful with her notes and suggestions in the binder left at the house. The listing is accurate regarding the location and appearance of the rooms. I would highly recommend this home for you to vacation with your family.Ship Bottom is a quiet community and very convenient to the bridge for going to food stores, etc. Much traffic on Saturday but the rest of the week is fine.The elevator in the house is a great convenience when you bring in the food or your luggage. Would be great for someone who is disabled.

We just returned from our trip to LBI and I cannot say enough about it! The house was perfect for a large family (even on a rainy day!)The house was so clean and spacious and every room was decorated beautifully and stocked with all the supplies you could possibly want or need. It felt like it was our home on LBI. Everything about this trip was enjoyable from the planning (the owners are a pleasure) to the clean up (the couple that helps the owners at checkout were also a pleasure) Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home with us. The Castle is a beautiful, spacious home only a few houses from the beach, large enough for several families to share. We have made some great memories here and hope to continue that tradition! The owners are a pleasure to deal with as well.

To the King and Queen of the Castle, This is defintely a Castle inh the sand, by the sea, but by no means a sandcastle. The craftmanship, workmanship was done with skill and love. The decorations were done with flare, love for the sea, and the wildlife. The two of you thought of everything, from the young to the old (elevator), plus beach chairs. Thank you for rescuing us at the last minute. This was by far our best shore stay. The weather was great, the water warm and star gazing on the roof was great. Relaxing for those who work and not to much noise from the kids during "homework" hour.

Sherry & Ted- Thank you for helping us build sandcastle moments this week. You have a beautiful, comfortable home. The puzzles & DVD were a hit for the dew rainy days we had. This was heaven staying in your magnificent castle. We were four families that shared a loving, caring and amazing week thanks to Ted & Sherry. The whole northeast was flooding and we soaked up the sun on the Jersey Shore. Talk about luck. If the week were anymore perfect, we'd be in heaven! Thanks again for the best vacation.

We rented the castle the last week of July 2005 for our family reunion. The house was perfect - spacious, clean, many amenities & close to the beach. Everyone commented on how nicely it was decorated - Sherry & Ted (owners) did a fantastic job! Because of health reasons, our parents can't use the stairs - having the elevator made it possible for them to come. It was wonderful having everyone in the family together! Thanks to Sherry for arranging the beach wheelchair rental -we were able to get Mom to the beach, which she really enjoyed. Dad's comment sums it up - he said he felt like royalty in the castle! Sherry & Ted - thanks for everything! We all had a great time!

Wow!!! That's the best way to describe our week at the castle!!! Such thought has gone into the design and ammenities of this house that all you need to do is bring yourselves to have a good time. This was an especially perfect house for us because we were able to bring along our elderly parents for a much needed vacation. The elevator and handicapped jr. suite were just perfect for them. Thank you Sherry and Ted for a very memorable vacation.

we stayed at the castle for a much needed vacation without the kids and our significant others. what an awesome time! six just turning 40 girls in a castle without their king---need i say more! the weather was perfect,the house was spacious,clean and close to some great restaurants. the elevator added that little extra touch--especially since we're getting older!! kudos to you sherry and ted!! see you same time next year, kim,karen, debbie, maryann, amy and holli-"the 40-ish girls"

We had a lovely weekend at the castle. The home is beautiful (w/an elevator easy for luggage). We did a girl friend w/e from a Fri to a Mon. The house is so close to the beach and anything else you need. We definitely want to go back next year.

I stayed in this beautiful home for two weeks, I had a wonderful time, i was very comfortable, it was like sleeping in my own home. Sherry and Ted the owners with whom you will be dealing with if you rent here are great! they take a special interest in there guest's, I hope to be renting from them again next year.

I can't say enough about vacationing at this beautiful and spacious house. We had a great time. Lots to do and the ocean is steps away.We had 6 adults and 2 children staying here and were very comfortable here, even on a rainy day. We will be doing it again in 2004. My hat is off to Sherry and Ted on the great job they did with this house. Gary Benko
