My partner & I were looking for a last minute booking in Kihei, the owner Samantha was very quick and easy to communicate with and to make arrangements. The condo is especially nice, very reasonably priced and we enjoyed having the 2 bedroom, 2 bath, even though we didn't need the extra space. Everything was extremely clean and in good order, including cookware, as we like to use real kitchens rather than microwave. The unit is downstairs & at the way back of the complex, it doesn't have any lovely green lawns or palm trees, mostly driveways, however the space is nice and quiet and private which we enjoyed, especially if you are not needing a view. There is limited guest parking, we had a friend from Kihei over and went out to dinner, and her car was posted with a warning sign that she was going to receive a parking violation if she left the car there more than 3 hours.....seemed a bit extreme for hawaii. My only complaint about the place was the use of artifical air freshers and very strong smelling sheets.....though the beds were comfortable, we have noticed through extensive travel that many people use chemicals in their environment. However, we would be happy to visit here again. Aaron

Not quite as close to the beach

The condo was clean and everything was in working order. The only strange thing was that the dishwasher did not have a cutlery basket or anywhere to put cutlery. The main bath shower is a really good size and the unit has been renovated. The unit is located at the back of Kihei Shores property so the walk to the beach is closer to 5-6 hundred yards. You take the stairs down into the unit from the outside, so the front of the unit is actually more like a basement and the back of the unit is similar to a walk-out. The lanai is four cement blocks with a small table and 2 chairs, but due to the size of it and the foliage there is little sunlight. The grounds of the complex are not comparative to other complexes in the area that have more green space and gardens. We walked for coffees and dinners often. It was great to have an introductory supply of the necessities as well as the items others had left behind.

Beautiful, Economical, and Perfect for Family of 4

Beautifully decorated condo! Master bedroom and bathroom was perfect, as well as the second bathroom. Sheets were of high quality. We prepared breakfast and dinner in the condo which was well equipped, and just the right size. Kids ate at the breakfast bar, and parents ate at the coffee table. Ceiling fans really helped keep the condo cool, and I loved having a sliding door to the lanai for a view of the greenery outside. Even though the building is in the back of the complex, we packed our car for the beach and drove it to the end of the lot where there are always open spots so you can park it and walk across the street to the beach. (We take a lot of things to the beach). We really enjoyed our stay, and would come back again! We drove all over the island, and feel the best beaches are all in Kihei, within walking distance of this condo.

Just returned from a two week stay in this condo. It is beautifully decorated, very clean and well stocked with beach equipment and everything needed for cooking. The showers are amazing and the towels high quality. Loved having the ceiling fans, never even needed the air conditioning turned on. We came with two other couples who stayed in other units in the complex and ours was by far the nicest. Will defiantly request this unit next time we return to Maui.

The Dream Vacation

A group of friends and I stayed here after hearing about this condo from my brother who recently stayed here. Having been my first time visiting Hawaii, I was a little nervous as to what to expect: Was it in the right area, was it in a quiet/yet lively community, am I getting a good deal? All these are questions that ran through my head. However, once we pulled into the area and walked into the unit, I knew we made the right decision. It was absolutely beautiful. The pictures are great, but don't do it justice. Although you're on vacation, you feel like you're at home. The owners truly put their heart and soul into this unit. From the custom photography and great pictures they took that hang on the walls, to the craftsmanship of the owner who remodeled the place himself, you can tell a lot of care went into this place. They also fully stock the place with everything you need to make yourself feel at home including pots, pans, utensils, even some condiments in the fridge. When we pulled into the complex and I saw the beach across the way, I was so excited. Many people say their property is located walking distance to the beach and many exaggerate. However, this place truly is walking distance and one day we decided to walk across the way to enjoy a nice BBQ at the public beach across the street. We also loved how they included sand-castle supplies and Boogie Boards for those days we felt like being kids again along with beach chairs and towels for your relaxing day along the water. The community surrounding the condo is very friendly, as is the office staff from the moment you check-in to get your parking pass. The security carts traveling throughout the complex also make you feel like you're safe during your stay. Overall, this place is fantastic and I will 100% recommend it to friends, family and co-workers the way it was recommended to me!

We just returned from a 2 week stay in this beautiful Kihei condo! The accommodations and location were perfect, as it is not only located near some of Maui's best beaches, but also conveniently located to Kihei's restaurants and shopping, not to mention the beautiful resorts of Wailea! We would definitely recommend this condo unit and hope to stay there again in the future. Thanks so much to the owners for providing us with such nice accommodations for our Maui vacation!

We had a really nice time in Kihei shores in February 2012. Its a very well appointed condo (very clean, wifi,etc.). The art work on the walls was also a nice touch. We had two couples and it was probably a bit on the small side for us but other than that, it was good value for the money compared with other properties in the same price range.

This condo was way beyond what we expected. The walk to the beach and park was convenient as we made every effort to walk down for the sunsets. The condo is in great condition and the remodel was very professionally done (I’m in the construction business as I know). All the conveniences of home – a great kitchen for cooking (fresh fish was on the menu most nights), relaxing on the sofa, or using the internet. Condo was very clean and well organized when we arrived.

We were celebrating our 32nd anniversary and looking forward to enjoy Maui for 3 weeks. This condo was the perfect place for us, the owners has done a great work to keep the place clean and with good amenities as well. Been close to the Christmas season the little palm X-mas decoration ligths was a nice touch. If you are in need to be in constant contact with your phone you will have some problems with the reception as the condo is in the lower part of the building. For me this was a plus because my phone did not ring all the time, loved it! We don't watch to much TV and if you do the programing is the basic local channels so go out and enjoy Maui because the cable programing is basic. But over all the place is great, clean and well kept. We will recommend this to our friends and family. Mahalo

Only 10 minute walk down to the beach at Kamole III. Condo was beautiful and well stocked, even had fans to make up for the lack of cross ventilation due to the lack of breeze from the stairwell (sub grade entry on the front, ground level on the lanai).

My wife and her parents and I traveled to Maui recently. We were looking for a place to call home for a week, and also wanted it to be affordable. This property worked perfectly! Being a 5 to 10 minute walk to the beach kept the cost down, while still giving us a wonderfully clean and well appointed apartment to live in. With reserved parking only seconds from the beach, we could also use the car to shuttle our folks if they didn't feel like exercising their 80 year old muscles too much before frolicking in the surf! The local beaches are fantastic and sunsets were awesome! We were very happy to find the one bedroom closet stuffed with beach toys, towels, lawn chairs, and flip boards. Little things like this made our vacation go better than we thought. And when we had one small issue with the pool key, the owners had it looked after within the hour. We would not hesitate to recommend this site to folks - it was just what we were looking for.

Stop looking for the perfect condo for your vacation, you've just found it!! Ive stayed at a lot of vacation rentals, and this was by far the best one. I couldnt believe how beautiful this condo was! Immaculate attention had been paid to every detail, from the cabinets and granite countertops in the kitchen, to the gorgeous tile work in the showers. The owner was friendly and very communicative. I wish all businesses could be run with such professional enthusiasm. We simply couldn't believe how amazing this place was. Great location in a safe neighborhood, and right across the street from the beach! Every day we walked down to Kam III beach to snorkel, swim, and watch beautiful sunsets. The only time we ever had to use our rental car was to go out to dinner a few nights. Next time we come here, we may just scratch the car and cook all our dinners in this gorgeous kitchen! This condo turned our visit into a dream vacation. I highly recommend it to anyone!!

"Added To The Great Vacation"

We stayed in this beautiful condo for 9 days and we had a blast! It was perfect and comfortable (especially the beds) and has everything you could possibly need. It definitely added to the great vacation we had. The beach is nice and close, and the sunsets are amazing. Bring a picnic dinner and enjoy. There are many great restaurants in the area, check out "808 Bistro" by "Fred's". Great service, amazing food and you can BYOB no corkage fee. Mahalo for the amazing condo!!!

Great condo but lack of communication

This was a fine little condo - it was as described. It was definitely an amazing price!! It was very clean and has been renovated - and a nice bonus was that they had free WiFi. I'm not one to complain, but we did have a few issues with our experience, overall - and I think that honest feedback is really important. 1) The communication was lacking. It took quite awhile to get replies from the woman who does the bookings (via email and telephone). It was extremely frustrating, and it's not really the kind of stress one wants when trying to make travel arrangements. I had to do follow-ups each step of the way as I didn't receive confirmations at all (ie. I sent in our contract but had to follow up to ensure it was received). Honestly, there were a few times that I was genuinely concerned that we were being ripped off ... again, not really the feeling you want to have when booking a holiday! 2) There isn't a telephone in the condo, so be prepared if you don't have a cell/mobile phone. This proved to be a huge issue when we had to call for a taxi to get to a wedding on time. No phone! 3) They take a Paypal deposit from you in case you use too much electricity during your stay. I have no problem providing a deposit, but it took them a MONTH after our departure to confirm that we hadn't incurred any additional charges. Oh, one thing to mention if you're planning on staying in this condo - the units aren't clearly marked - this particular unit is below-ground on the front-side, so you need to go downstairs to find the entrance! This would have been helpful for us to know, as we arrived after dark and there is no light at the entrance of the unit, making it next to impossible to find. Hopefully this makes it easier for some of you to find. :)

Mahalo, Wanted to take a minute to Thank You for sharing your Condo with us! Attention to every detail; master craftsmanship in the interior- so clean and new - fully equipped kitchen just to name a few. It made us feel comfortable and VERY WELCOME. Your tips on the Local spots were perfect! Location Location Location….. this One is Great, beach within a minutes walk...short walk to great food......, SO quick to get to anywhere on the island and much to see on the way! Planing of our return trips will be less stressful since we now have our own “Home in Paradises”.

What a gem! This is a wonderful condo and we had the best time staying here on our vacation! It is so cozy and beautifully decorated, with all of the necessary amenities. A fully stocked kitchen, which saved us money by buying groceries, a washer and dryer, and WiFi which we can’t live without. The beds were even soft and comfortable, and I consider myself quite the bed snob. =) It is literally walking distance to the beach and restaurants, with a gorgeous view. Kihei is a great location in Maui, we had no trouble finding anything we wanted to do by hoping in the car and driving a short distance. Thank you so much! We definitely will be back to stay here again soon!

Thank you so much for the lovely condo! The beds & couch were so comfortable. The condo was just the right temperature. We all loved the beach right across the street! The bathrooms were really nice and we found a washer & dryer in the little closet. We suggest the Cool Cat cafe in Lahaina. It was the best burger in Maui. Thank you so much for the comfortable and cozy home for us to stay in! We had an AWESOME time!!
