Welcome to our wonderful beach house "Wish You Were Here" on the beautiful Fort Morgan Peninsula. Wish You Were Here is a professionally decorated four-year-old three-bedroom, three-bathroom beach house located in the upscale Morgantown beach community. You will enjoy strict architectural controls, buried utilities, two swimming pools, two tennis courts, and of course a world class beach. Be prepared to relax!!

My goal is simple....to underpromise and overdeliver on all of my beach rental properties. I want to give you the absolute best value in vacation rentals today. Because you contacted me owner-direct, I will eliminate all the "junk" fees normally charged by the large property management firms in Gulf Shores. Gone are all commissions, processing fees, and exorbitant housecleaning fees. I want you to feel the value you're getting for your vacation dollar will make you want to come back every year! I pride myself on my many repeat customers, and I want you to tell all of your family and friends about your positive experience with a Relaxonthebeach property.

Wish You Were Here comes equipped with all the amenities of home. Sleeping arrangements include 1 King, 1 Queen, and 1 Full bed. The house features a CD/DVD player, high speed internet access, satellite television, and a charcoal barbeque grill. We have gone to extraordinary lengths to think of everything anyone could possibly want for the perfect beach vacation. Your comfort is our most important priority.

Wish You Were Here sits just an easy stroll from the beach boardwalk and has a view of the Gulf from the front porches. Morgantown has two beautiful neighborhood swimming pools, exclusive to those in the community, and a brand new pair of tennis courts for those with exercise on their minds.

For golfers in the group, Wish You Were Here is located next door to the world famous Kiva Dunes Golf Club, a winner of numerous Golf Digest awards. Just down the street is home to 27 perfectly manicured holes at the Peninsula Golf Club. Both resorts are truly world class.

Please come and join us for the sand, surf, and fun! The beaches are magnificent, the golf is spectacular, and the restaurants are terrific. There is truly an activity for every member of the family. Wish You Were Here is a wonderful home and we would love to share it with you.

Wish You Were Here is located at 6111 Sawgrass Circle, Gulf Shores, AL 36542. Prices for all of my properties include everything except Alabama state sales tax, and a nominal cleaning fee. The cleaning fee is standard amongst all of my properties ($25/bedroom,$10/bathroom, $50/common area)and is paid directly to the housekeepers. Zero mark-ups. The fee includes all towels and linens. A $45 damage waiver is required insurance to protect you in the event of any mishaps. For your convenience, I can also offer optional trip insurance called "Travel Guard" from AIG, a AAAAA rated insurance company (highly recommended!!!).

I am running huge snowbird monthly discounts for December, January, and February $2500/month. First come, first served! Charges just cover my mortgage and electric bills. No profit, no gouging!! The savings are yours.

  • My family stayed at this wonderful home in early October 2008. We had plenty of room for myself and my husband in the main floor bedroom, my sister in law in the upstairs bedroom and the master was so large that it easily accomodated my daughter and her husband, their baby's crib, AND an air mattress for the her 3 and 7 year old boys! (There is a sofa bed but they elected to bunk with Mom and Dad). We all had plenty of privacy and everyone had their own private bathroom to boot! We enjoyed cooking out on the back deck overlooking the wetlands as well as enjoying eating on either or both of the porches. One of the pools was right there and the ocean/beach was a reasonable, pleasant, picturesque walk. We played in the beautiful white sand and swam in the ocean (Mid October!). Morgantown is a quiet beach community with the feel of private residential ownership even when you are only there for the week! No crowds and gaudy commercial and overbuilds there at all! I attended a small chapel the Sunday we were down there and was welcomed with hospitable, loving,open arms and even invited to dinner there (it was their annual Homecoming Sunday!). So, pack your suitcases, bring a couple of sand shovels, relax and enjoy!
