Mahana 705 is your thoughtfully equipped home away from home. It's so comfortable, with charming Hawaiian style decor and all the necessary electronics (2 TVs, one is flat screen, DVD, VCR, stereo). The kitchen is beautiful and functional. It is equipped with every utensil and appliance you'll need for drinking and dining. It has granite countertops, and a flat-topped range for easy clean-up.
The two full baths feature over-sized rain-style showerheads, delightful after a day at the beach. There are binoculars for seeing everything, and books describing all the activities, the history, Hawaiian drink making, the fish you'll see while snorkeling, and more. The in-unit washer dryer means traveling light, making 705 the perfect home away from home. There's also free in-unit wireless internet, or you can use the computers and printers in the lobby for a small fee.
The Mahana consists of two fabulously maintained and updated twelve-story buildings, with a beautiful stretch of sand and lawn in front. Walk along the beach for miles in either direction, then return to the Mahana for a swim in the ocean view pool, or warm up in the new ocean view hot tub. The activities desk in the lobby will organize any activity you wish, from a snorkel trip to a dinner cruise, a zip-line to a kayak tour. There are shops and restaurants, even a farmer's market nearby. Whaler's Village is a short distance, with Lahaina and Kapalua a few miles further for sightseeing and golf. The Mahana attracts a relaxed group of vacationers, seeking a quality island experience in a convenient and beautiful setting.

Why the Owner Chose Mahana
Beautiful beach walks, stunning sunsets, romantic rainbows and potent pina coladas. Our condo offers all that and more. We asked our realtor to find us a place where we could fill our wine glasses, and still have a few sips left by the time we got to the beach. And she did. The weather here is about as perfect all year 'round as one could ask for. It's the best place to watch the whales in winter. Maui never feels crowded, but due to its visitors, has so many fantastic restaurants and activities.
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
On those days you want to do nothing, Mahana 705 is idyllic. Listen to the ocean as you relax on the lanai, at the pool, in the hot tub, on the beach. The ambience is always fun, but mellow. We walk to the farmer's market for tropical fruit and flowers, and fresh fish for dinner. On the days when you desire a little more activity, it's a short walk to the best snorkeling park on the island, or a short drive over to Whaler's Village or Lahaina for some gifts for the folks at home or to go to a luau. It's a convenient spot from which to take a longer excursion out to Hana and the Seven Pools, or up to the top of the volcano for the sunrise and a little hike. The concierge at the Mahana will find you anthing from a dinner cruise to a kayak trip. There's always something new to discover, even after 30 years!

We count our blessings every day to live at Lake Tahoe, and sometimes in our condo on Maui, two of the earth's most beautiful locales. We first came to Kaanapali in 1979, and it was love at first sight. We have worked in many different parts of the world, and still love to travel and explore, but returning home is always one of the best parts of traveling. Let the spirit of aloha captivate you as it did us. Once a year, for a short time, abandon the schedule, shed the necktie or the pantyhose, and be rejuvenated! Maui does that!
