If you are looking for a QUIET, RESTFUL VACATION at a REASONABLE PRICE, this is it! But there is HIGH SPEED INTERNET ACCESS and WiFi .
Welcome to Caddyshack in Cobbly Nob Village, a SECURED COMMUNITY on beautiful Webb Mountain that overlooks the northern edge of the Smoky Mountains.
This is truly the quiet side of Gatlinburg (10 miles on 321)with EASY ACCESS FROM THE EAST through Newport if you wish to avoid the congestion of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.
When you enter Cobbly Nob Village, you will pass the security post that is manned 24/7 and drive thru the front 9 holes of Bent Creek Golf course. Turning onto Deer Path Lane, Caddyshack is a quiet haven from the hustle and bustle of the many activities available in nearby Gatlinburg (10 miles) and Pigeon Forge (15 miles).
You will find our home, Caddyshack, nestled in a SECLUDED SETTING. Caddyshack is aptly named for its restful GOLF DECOR and for its proximity to Bent Creek.
At Caddyshack, you will pull into YOUR OWN CARPORT to unload your luggage. There is also plenty of extra parking on the LEVEL DRIVEWAY for guests. Once inside, you will enjoy the OPEN FLOOR PLAN of a great room, dining room, and fully equipped kitchen surrounded by windows looking out to the mountain view through the trees. This area opens onto a large NEW DECK with a picnic table, another large table and chairs, a glider, hot tub and seasonal view of the Smokey Mountains.
On a cool evening, enjoy the mountain view through the trees while you relax by the WOOD BURNING FIREPLACE and listen to oldies on the record player, play games, read a book from our lending library, or watch TV or a movie.
The main level of the house has a full bath with a washer and dryer and two bedrooms, in addition to the kitchen and great room. One bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom has twin beds which are perfect for kids or grandkids.
On the second level is the master bedroom and large private bath. There is a private deck off the master bedroom where you can enjoy your morning coffee. In the master bath, the large JACUZZI allows you to relax while looking out at the treetops.
One of the favorite features of the house is the hot tub. You can relax and let go in this secluded area and watch the stars on a clear night away from the glare of the city lights. The hot tub is cleaned and sanitized after each stay. You and your pet will enjoy the rare 'level' yard and parking area.
Caddyshack is an ideal place to visit any time of the year. Of course, it is very popular when the leaves have their brightest colors in October. Families also find it a great place to stay when their children are out of school in June, July, or August. Holidays are especially enjoyable at Caddyshack. During the Christmas holidays, you can celebrate under the Christmas tree in the living room. Off season is also an enjoyable time at Caddyshack. In January or February, you might be treated to a blanket of snow. In March or April, the weather is normally nice and you can enjoy Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge or the hiking trails in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, with few other tourists.
Our guests routinely tell us that they spent their most relaxing vacation at Caddyshack. As owners, we agree with them. We fell in love with it the first time we saw it. In fact, we bought it on Valentine's day. We always look forward to returning to Caddyshack and are certain that you will feel the same.

Our family stopped over in Gatlingburg for a couple of days on the way to Virginia in January. I really enjoyed our stay in the Caddy Shack. I was afraid we might not have been able to complete our stay for a couple of reasons. They both worked themselves out. We had some winter weather driving from Nashville to Gatlingburg so it was about 9:30 or 10:00 by the time we got to the cabin. We just got to a Cracker Barrel in Pigeon Forge in time to eat. They had to close early because of the storm. We found our way to the entrance of the Knobbly Knob. It was dark and snow covered. The guard shack was dark - we continued up the recently plowed road. Up and up and up. Trees had been recently moved from where they had fallen in the road. Again it was very dark and when we got to where the GPS said the house was, we were not quite there. The guys got out and looked around on foot for the "Caddy Shack" sign. They found it covered in snow, found the driveway too and figured the truck with 4 wheel drive could get in. We left the other car in the street - not advised. By this time, duh - the reason it was so dark - the electricity was out in the whole neighborhood. We got in and checked things out by cell phone light. It was cold, but the house had been warmed up earlier. We went to bed. I was going no further this night. It was a very welcome sound - that heater unit kicking on in the middle of the night. The morning was probably one of the most beautiful mornings on this mountain. Everything was covered in snow and the blue sky was brilliant. Loved this house. Big table for family, comfortable bed, great hot tub with a view from the pretty new deck, just a real nice feel to the home and close enough to town. Clean, well maintained. The hot tub, even in January was clean and hot after the power came back on. We went to the Dixie Stampede Friday night and would recommend it if you like horses. Good food and entertainment. Thank you - StephanieRecommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing.

I highly recommend this home (the Caddyshack) to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing getaway near Gatlinburg. The place was clean, comfortable, and well maintained with everything we needed to feel right at home. I loved sitting out on the the quiet deck and not hearing any sounds of traffic. Gatlinburg was busy with lots of tourists (including us) and a wonderful arts and crafts fair. We enjoyed some great dinners at the Cherokee Grill Restaurant. But then we could leave all the hustle behind and enjoy a beautiful drive up the mountain to our peaceful retreat and have a relaxing soak in the hot tub before snuggling into the comfortable bed for a great nights sleep. Many thanks to the nice owners for a very pleasant stay in their comfortable home in the mountains.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

We were delighted with Caddyshack! It was comfortable, well-equipped, and very private. It provided a nice respite from the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg. The layout is perfect for sharing the home with another couple. The master bedroom is on the second floor with a private shower and jacuzzi tub. There are two bedrooms downstairs and a second bathroom on the main floor. The house is wonderfully maintained and very clean. It's an easy drive to Gatlinburg and the craft loop from the home. The views in the neighborhood are lovely and there are plenty of options to enjoy the outdoors including the well-positioned hot tub. Many thanks to the owners for sharing this great home!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Very relaxing getaway in a great location. Caddyshack is very private, with lots of space and most of the amenities of home! The hot tub was lovely, the house was clean and spacious with lots of light filtering in. The jacuzzi in the master suite was huge! Kitchen was very functional and the living room was a great place to spend a relaxing evening at home with friends and family. I loved the layout which was very convenient for a group of 2 couples with one child and a very well-behaved dog. LOVED the well-paved drive up the mountain to get to the house!! Very scenic, though steep at times - which I love! :) The village is beautiful and in a great location close, but not too close to downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Food store is close as well.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, pet owners, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing.
