Why the Owner Chose Old Town Chalet
My condo is right up against Park City Mountain Resort, I can ski to my driveway! Or ski down to the Town Lift in 3 minutes. In the summer I hike right out my door or mountain bike up the single tracks to the top of Park City Mountain. Its also very quiet and peaceful up there, and sometimes we can spot a wondering Moose or Deer.

I'm so happy we stayed here for our wonderful vacation in Park City. It felt so comfortable the moment we walked in, like staying at a good friends home. Decorated in touches of French country made it feel very romantic. The soft leather couch and fireplace made it the perfect couples get away. I've been vacationing at places like these for about 6 years now and this was one of the cleanest places I've ever stayed at. We walked every day to the nearby main street in the adorable historic district which was only a few short blocks away. Skiing and hiking trails were also right there in walking distance. Leslie was very informative on places to eat and things to do as well as providing information on coupon deals and her favorite places to dine. We took advantage of her suggestions and weren't sorry. One of her suggestions became my personal favorite place to go enjoy dinner or cocktail and some live music in the evenings, the Stein Eriksen Lodge. It's what you imagine a winter time lodge should look like. I would definitely recommend staying here at Leslie's little Park City getaway. It's everything she says it is.
Owner response:Thank You, Terri I'm so glad you enjoyed your vacation!!!!

We had an awesome trip and stayed in this wonderful condo. The furnishings were great but there were little extras there that you usually don't have at a VRBO or any other rental place. The kitchen was equipped with cooking utensils as well as spices and cooking essentials. We loved it having a fireplace and being so close to town. The beds were so comfortable which is a big plus.It was very close to Deer Valley . We had a great trip and hope to come back and stay here the next visit to Park City.

Be prepared to not have your full security deposit refunded following your stay. We left the property in the same manner as we found it when we arrived. Very neat & clean. This included washing all of the owners towels, bath mats etc. We failed to get our recycling out on President's day (with 27 inches of snow in 24hrs)! This was the only thing that we were negligent on. We were accused of not wiping down the walls, scratching the paint on the back wall of the closet, chipping the paint in the front entrance way, etc. We have stayed in 50 plus VRBO and have always taken excellent care of the owner's property. It seems apparent that this owner supplements her rental income with unreasonable accusations and deducts your security deposit accordingly. There are plenty of great choices in Park City...pass on this one and keep looking!!
Owner response:Dear Mr. B I'm sorry you feel this way, your deposit was deducted $50- I thought I was being very reasonable, not to take more out. As it states in my rental agreement, condo must be left as it is found. I take great pride in my condo & (home) it is left in spotless condition, for my guest to enjoy and respect . Seeing my walls with black marks and chips from your luggage or skis was disapointing and with the loads of trash and recycle it takes extra work for my cleaners and myself.

We spent one incredible week in this condo which catered to our every need from the minute we first walked in. It was warm, cozy and adorable. About as good of a location as you can get. Walked to "Old Town" every evening. Loved the white "fluffy" robes!!! We will definitely be back. Loved it!!!!

Fabulous location, charming, & clean with lots of amenities. My husband & I stayed June 30 - July 6 and loved every minute. This condo is perfectly located in that it's a 10 min. walk to/from Main Street where all the restaurants & shops are located as well as high up for breathtaking views. We had a spectacular, private view of 4th of July fireworks. Also great place for active people as we could just step outside for a short or long hike. The owner is very accomodating and has the place beautifully furnished. We felt at home right away. It was the perfect place for us to make a meal or open up a nice bottle of wine :) We would definitely stay here again!

We've stayed here two years in a row now, and each stay has been perfect. Condo is a comfortable and cozy base of operations for a family or two couples. The kitchen is efficient; from previous guests you'll likely find the fridge stocked with bevvies and a populated pantry. One bedroom is smaller but has the restroom en-suite. The larger bedroom has a door open to the small deck. DVD player and cable keep boredom at bay. Chemical log recommended for the fireplace. It's a fun walk down to down, about three blocks and under town lift. High West Distillery is recommended: great rye and whisky, good bar food. Crowd is hit or miss but it's packed. It'll be a hike back up the hill but it's a beautiful view. Perhaps the best part of our stay was the nightly escape to the shared hot tub, newly installed in 2010 and in great shape. Crack open a drink and make a run for it. The hot water and bracing mountain air is a potent finisher. Owner has always been a breeze to work with. Unit always clean, easy in and out. Timely with all finances. I recommend without reservations.

This was a great place to stay in Park City! I visit Park City nearly every year and really liked this location. It is in Old Town, but in a more quiet area which is nice. Beautiful views from the windows. Parking at the condo is easy and painless. Easy to get to Park City Mountain Resort and to Deer Valley. You can walk to Main Street. Fully stocked condo. Very clean and neat. No complaints. Would stay here again if the opportunity arises.
