New Construction, completed in August 2008. The Building has a 24/7 Security Guard at the main entrance. The social area has a Standard Pool and a Separate Wading Pool for Children, plus Picnic Tables and a Gym.
Our Condo is Decorated with a Modern Flare and equipped with both Light Filtering Blinds and Blackout Blinds in all rooms. The light filtering blinds reduce the amount of direct sunlight but still allows visibility. The blackout blinds provide complete privacy. The Master Bedroom has a King Bed, a wall mounted 26" LCD TV with an adjustable arm for multi-directional positioning. The wall to wall closet has plenty of space and contains a 5 drawer stand and a Programmable Safe for valuables. The 2nd Bedroom has a Queen Bed and wall to wall closet and a great view of Ancon. Both Bedrooms have Halogen Lighting with Dimmer Switches, remote controlled A/C and Egyptian Cotton Sheets for extra comfort. The living area has a wall mounted 32" LCD TV with DVD player, Stereo, ceiling fan, remote controlled A/C and the Funton Converts into a Full Bed. The Kitchen is Fully Equipped for cooking. The Gas Stovetop has 6 Burners with a Griddle Attachment and the Oven has a Rotisserie. We have Stainless Steel Cookware and Utensils, Cutlery, Coffee Maker with bean grinder, Microwave, Toaster, Blender, Filtered Water, Ice Maker, complete place settings for 8, plus Childrens Plates and Cups, even Shot Glasses. We also have WiFi, Cable TV, Laptop, Cellphone, Iron, Ironing Board, Hot Water Heater and Washer/Dryer in the unit. The Building Name is South Beach. It is located in Bella Vista, 39th & Ave Chile. It is one block from Ave Balboa across from the Marina and the new Cinta Costeira. Take stroll from our condo down the NEW Costal Belt. We are also within walking distance of the Vibrate Night Life of Calle Uraguay. Our building has 2 units per floor with windows facing the front and back, allowing for a great breeze. Our unit is 6 floors from the Street Level and one floor above the social area and pool as shown in the picture. The Building has a 24/7 Security Guard at the main entrance, gated parking garage, and one assigned parking space. Why the Owner Chose Panama City
The majority of Alberto's family lives in Panama, so we visit often. We wanted a place where our family of 4 could stay for several weeks at a time and be comfortable and relaxed. We wanted to be in the heart of the city close to the entertainment and nightlife, but in a well secure location. We also wanted something we could actually live comfortably in if we decide to relocate back to Panama in the future, either as a family or as a retired couple. Welcome to our home away from home in Panama City, Panama.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
We are centrally located with easy access to both the North and South Corridors. So when visiting family who don't live in the heart of the city, we can get there and back quickly. Being in the heart of the city, means a short taxi ride to the activities we enjoy.
We do live in the United States and we know the standards that most people enjoy. So we took the time and expense to provide those extras that you may not find at other rentals, like Egyptian Cotton Sheets, Stainless Steel Cookware, Refrigerator with Filter Water and Ice Maker, Coffee Maker with a grinder and a Scale to Weigh your Luggage.
Our administrators are actually Alberto's family members. So if you have an issue it's addressed immediately. They work within 2 miles of the condo and take pride in that it meets the standards of our renters. For an additional fee they will provide service to and from the airport in there SUV.
The maid has been working for the family for many years and is excellent and well trusted. So if you are staying more than 7 days, her weekly service is included. For an additional fee she can come twice a week.
Our 24 hour security guards. I have to praise our security guards, while they don't work directly for us, they have truly been a great gift. I get many compliments about them and how helpful they are with taxis, restaurants and general information.
Prior to VRBO adding Google Maps to there site, I created an extensive Google Map of Panama. Including restaurants, shops, tourist interests, beaches, bookstores, casinos and if you ask about a location and it's not on the map, I will find out and add it on the map. Hence my map continues to grow.

Alberto and Molly Sasso, the owners of this property. Alberto was born in Panama. Molly was born in the United States. We met at the University of Maryland. As fate would have it, we moved to Panama and lived for several years together, we even got married in Panama City. Eventually we found ourselves back in Maryland. We now have 2 children, they are 3 and 6. We both love Panama, the warm climate and beaches, the fresh tropical fruits, the fresh seafood, the beautiful hills and mountains.
