Built in the 1970's by a local ski legend, this house is full of character. It's located in the quiet, quaint town of Garfield, minutes from Monarch Ski Area and amazing powder! You can walk a few hundred feet to reach Monarch Lodge, which provides a family-style restaurant and many activities such as swimming and racquetball, a game room and a fitness room.
Not only is this chalet ideal for a ski vacation, it is designed for year-round fun! The Arkansas River offers world-famous rafting and kayaking, while mountain biking and hiking trails are just outside the door.
The house has many surprises, including a hidden dart board and a toy gondola crossing the vaulted ceiling. Other fun extras include surround sound, and an indoor sauna. There is plenty of firewood for the wood-burning stove to keep you warm. New carpeting and tile cover the floors, while much of the bedding and towels are also new.
