  Yep, just like all the reviews, this is a fantastic place to stay. Great location to sunset beach and all the North Shore areas. Highly recommended and we'd sure stay here again.

  This studio is great! It's very close walk to the beach and the owners provide everything you need for your stay -- even bikes, chairs, and a beach umbrella! I couldn't have asked for anything more! Perfect location on the N. Shore! We had the best time!

  This property is much nicer than the pictures indicate. As a renter, you always wonder if a place is as it is represented in the pictures. This place is actually larger than it appears in the pictures. It also was very, very clean. We were very pleased with the studio. My wife and I are active retirees who spent two months in this studio. The studio was fully equipped to meet our needs. The kitchen had all the utensils required. We did not have to share the full size gas bbq, washer, and dryer. The flat screen tv and cable were a bonus. The bikes that came with the studio were our primary form of transportation. We found all the comforts of home away from home. The entrances to the family home and the studio are on the opposite side of the home from each other, which provides additional privacy. The host family could not have been any nicer or more welcoming. We felt like a welcomed part of their family. It was extremely hard to leave the place at the end of our stay. We would not hesitate to highly recommend this, “Surf Country Studio”.

  After spending a few nights at Waikiki, we were looking for something a little more laid back and a lot quieter and that's what we found here. The studio was very clean, let in plenty of sunlight and had everything we could possibly need. The location was great, close to everything and very secure. The hosts were wonderful and had a couple very friendly dogs that loved to be petted. After staying on the North Shore, I don't think we'll ever stay in Waikiki again. Hopefully, we'll be back here one day.

  Just like in the description simple, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed our visit to the Surf Country Studio very much,The hosts were down to earth and friendly and not the least bit obtrusive,with some of the most easy going dogs I ever seen. Everything you might need is included and one beautiful beach is right across the street for your enjoyment,We packed up our dinner one night and headed across the street to enjoy a sunset meal in the sand. We would return in a heart beat and hoping to this coming summer.

  We loved our stay at the Surf Country Studio ! It is right across the street from Sunset beach and very well located to explore the North Shore. It was very clean and well-furnished. Peggy and her family were really nice people and we loved staying in a ''real house'' instead of an hotel... We would stay here again !

  Quiet location right across the road from world famous Sunset surfing beach. Lovely gardens and landscaping. Safe and secure accomodation. The family running this place are real people and offer real island hospitality. Thank you so much.

  A big mahalo to the folks who own this place - they were gracious hosts and provided more than was necessary. From body board to bikes to beach chairs, we were all set to enjoy our weekend on Sunset Beach. The place was cozy and cute and right across the street from the water. We could not have had a better time!

  I recently returned from an amazing eight night stay at the Surf Country Studio in Sunset Beach. The studio is the first floor of a large residential house, which is set off the street, down a tree lined driveway and behind an electronic gate. I loved pretty much everything about this place: it's clean, bright, big (for a studio), friendly, close to the beach, cool (without AC), and provides everything you need to have a wonderful vacation. Sunset Beach is a little off the beaten path, so if you're looking for nightlife or lots of tourist-y things to do, then it may not be right for you, but if you want to kick back and make your own fun, then you'll find plenty of it. I used the beach chairs and super sturdy beach umbrella (which puts all the flimsy umbrellas you'll see on the beach to shame) every day, and the bikes a couple times. You'll be walking distance to Ted's Bakery, and an easy bike ride to Foodland, Shark's Cove, Waimea Bay Beach Park and Botanical Garden, with Turtle Bay and Haleiwa a short drive away. The studio is bigger, brighter and cleaner than it looks in the pictures, and I can't imagine staying anywhere else on Oahu or even any island in Hawaii. Light sleepers may want to avoid the North Shore (or bring ear plugs) because roosters are both plentiful and vocal, and you'll definitely want to bring your bug repellent (or use what they provide in the studio), especially in the evening on the patio. Otherwise, it was perfection. I hope to return again and again. And again.
