We are taking time to write this review because we want anyone who is thinking of going to Oahu to know that this was one of our BEST vacations ever because we stayed in this particular unit...and we researched quite a few. We knew from the website that the inside of the condo was beautiful and the outside near the ocean and lagoons, but we had no idea that: * The grounds are absolutely beautiful, secure, quiet, & relaxing (Just go to the Disney hotel is you want chaos & noise!) * The other guests/owners were low key, family types...very nice! Our grandson had a blast with the kids vacationing when we were. * The Ko Olina area turns out to have the LEAST rain on the island! * We never wanted to leave the condo....why leave paradise??? * A building that blocked us seeing the sunset from our lanais was actually a plus.. We went to the lagoon to see sunsets, but from our lanais, we were never blasted by the sunset and heat. * Great view of all grounds from our lanais... we could see our family members swimming and hot tubing!! * There was very easy access to restaurants, shopping, sites, etc. * None of us wanted to get up from the wonderful beds...soooo comfy! THERE WASN'T ANYTHING THAT WE DIDN'T LIKE ABOUT IT.... SO CAN'T COMMENT ON THAT......

This unit had everything we could possibly want. we spent two weeks there and did not want to leave. Our kids swam in the ocean every day and in the many pools in the complex. The condo comes with beach toys, towels, chairs, snorkling gear, etc and so you don't have to bring it with you. It was very clean when we arrived and everything worked very well. The view from the Lanai is amazing; some mornings we watched whales and dolphins. The owner was very easy to deal with and everything was exactly as advertised.

We had a wonderful vacation in this beautiful condo. Had a problem with the dryer, but it was fixed the day after notifying the housekeeping company. The condo was quiet and we loved opening the doors and sitting on the lani! Our sons, ages 25 and 16 loved being able to walk down to the pool or beach. They also enjoyed exploring the other lagoons. We watched whales from the room too! The owner was easy to work with too. We would definately recommend this place to friends.

The condo was beautiful, very nicely appointed. Scenery was beautiful. There are 3 lagoons. The lagoon for this property did not have loungers on the beach, you had to bring your own chairs, but the other 2 lagoons had chairs. The walking path along beach was great! The owners were wonderful to work with! Very prompt in returning e-mails, and very helpful and informative. The vacation went without a gliche. We would return to this condo in a heartbeat!!!

The owner was terrific with replying to my emails in a very prompt manner and was always helpful and friendly. The condo is just as you see in the pictures! Beautifully decorated and clean. They had sand toys, snorkel gear, a cooler, bamboo mats, boogie boards(3) and beach chairs(2-3), beach towels(2) and sun hats(2) for you to use. It also was great to have the washer and dryer and we didn't even have to buy detergent. There was even some fish food for the kids to feed the koi. We loved the lagoon and were lucky enough to see a turtle feeding during one of our morning swims. The kids enjoyed the pools and swam everyday. The kitchen was well equipped (except for a pot to cook pasta) and they also had a rice cooker for us rice lovers to use. We even used the BBQ downstairs to grill up some steak and corn for dinner one night. Most evenings we hung out on the lanai taking in the scenery, but unfortunately there's a building blocking the sunset from the room. You just have to take a short walk to the beach to see it and it is well worth it! The location was great because it was 15-20 away from all the touristy places that we wanted to take the family to. We liked that it was quiet and not crowded when we were there. We also liked being near a Costco, Safeway, and Target so we could stock up on the necessities and food for our stay and didn't spend a fortune on eating out. We would definitely stay here again and the kids have been asking when we can go back. We only ran into a minor snag while we were there, I guess there was some issue with private owners having access to the gym then. Normally this would not be a problem for me, but my dad actually would have used it if he could have. If that's important to you, then you should ask if the issue is resolved.

We can't wait to come back! Ko Olina is a private area close to Honolulu with wonderful beaches and entertainment. The condo was very clean, modern and had a great ocean and sunset view. We went down to the beach early around 9 a.m. everyday to get an umbrella on the beach. The snorkeling was probably the best thing our sons liked. They saw lots of colorful fish and turtles. The pool areas are extremely well kept and we especially enjoyed the hundreds of large colorful Koi fish (be sure and take your camera at Noon when they feed them). At night the grounds light up with dozens of tiki torches around the pools - very romantic. There are two hotels within walking distance for dining, spa, tennis, golf and even a Luau is close by. Chuck's Steakhouse was very nice to sit outside and watch the sunset. The owner Khoi was very accommodating and easy to work with. Don't hesitate to rent here, you won't be disappointed!
Owner response:Aloha Gleason family! We are so glad to know that you enjoyed your time in Ko'Olina and at our villa. It was our pleasure to arrange for your accommodations and we welcome your return.

My husband and I along with our two children stayed at Ko Olina beach front villas for six nights. It was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable vacations spots we've ever stayed at. Here are the highlights of the resort: --Immaculate and well-kept grounds - including a koi pond, and two very large salt-water swimming pools --Well-equipped fitness center (at no extra charge) --Large luxurious condo with state of the art appliances and lighting --Spacious lanai offered a beautiful view of the resort and beaches --Nice walkway which provided easy access to local hotel restaurants --Enhanced security measures for entering and exiting the building --Shuttle service to a wonderful luau down the road at Paradise Cove (also about a 10 minute walk). --Nearby shopping - there is an ABC store that offers everything from groceries to very reasonably priced souvenirs. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation. We didn't want to leave!

My niece was getting married in Hawaii so we decided to rent a Villa for the week. The Villa at Ko Olina was just what we needed. Close to family and friends and also the wedding place. The place is just as it looks in the pictures. My granddaughter loved the lagoon and the pools. I loved sitting on the lanai drinking coffee in the morning and taking in the beautiful views. The week went by too quickly and were sorry we had to leave.

If you don't want the hustle and bustle and traffic of the busy city, this is the place to be. Five adults stayed in this beautiful condo for a week in July. It was such a relaxing place, and the perfect 'home camp' for all of our car trip adventures - Pearl Harbor, Polynesian Cultural Center, Dole Plantation, Punchbowl, International Marketplace, Waikiki Beach. It was great to come back to the peace and quiet of Ko Olina. We spent a lot of time on the lanai, and ate most meals there, enjoying the cool ocean breezes. The kitchen was well stocked. The high-end appliances were great, although we are used to cooking with gas. The dishwasher was so quiet you could not even tell it was running. We did laundry and all went home with clean clothes. We enjoyed having TVs in each room. The A/C kept us cool at night once we opened the bedroom vents. The owner is a delight to work with, and the check-in/cleaning service was great. She was helpful in navigating all of the elevators and the parking spot. We called to have them help us figure out the TV remotes, and they came right away. She also left us a Safeway card and information about local shopping, golf, and tourist adventures. We did miss having a large pot to cook pasta, and wished for an additional thermal pot for the coffeemaker to accommodate the regular and decaf drinkers. One group always had to wait. All in all, it was a great week for the 5 of us. Thank you for sharing this beautiful condo with us!

We stayed in this unit for in March 2010 for Spring Break with our kids 15 & 12. It was perfect. From the time we arrived and were phoned and greeted by a cleaning staff rep, escorted to oor room, shown everything, to the time he helped overcome some problems with a key, to the time we left, everything was top notch. The unit is beautiful with huge sliding doors that can be opend to the outside to feel the ocean breezes, top end applicances, and very comfortable beds. It has its own parking space int he garage, ride the elevator up and you are right there. Beautiful vies from every angle of this condo, except in March the sun sets just behind the building in front of you so you might want to stroll down throught the beautifully kept gardens to the lagoon on the beach to watch the sun set. The pools at the unit are great and never seem over crowded at all the week we were there. The owners were very easy to work with and extremely responsive. The previous tenants had lost the 2nd key down the elevator shaft and the owners were very good at getting Ko'Olina to get us a second key by the next day. Our deposit was returned quickly and in full. Couple of things to note: there were some chairs and boogie boards in the closet for us to use - very nice to have, very small washer dryer and they take a long time to do small loads, so don't plan for doing lots of laundry, try the restaurant next door at the Marriott - Chuck's Steak House - GREAT!

I had my wedding in Oahu so I rented this unit for a week(Jan02-Jan09)for my family from Korea. My family LOVED staying at Ko Olina beach villas. Everything was perfect. Interior was luxurious, beds were comfortable and it had almost everything we needed. Beautiful swimming pools and beaches were just right outside of the building. We would definately go back again.

We were a party of 5 (myself, husband, 3 yr old son, 5 yr old daughter, and mother-in-law)and stayed in the unit September of 2009. The unit was great, nicely decorated, comfortable, high end appliances and wonderful views. Since our trip was in the off season the Villas were pretty empty so it was very quiet and peaceful. The pools were perfect for our kids, especially the 1 1/2 foot gravel pool for our 3 year old! Grounds were beautful and well maintained and everyone was very nice and accommodating. The beach was wonderful. The protected lagoons were so calm so the kids weren't anxious about going swimming and the beach toys were very convenient. All in all a great time! We will definitely be back! Thanks!

We stayed at this condo for 8 days in June 2009 and absolutely loved it. The condo was clean and beautiful and the owners were very easy to work with. We enjoyed many hours on the lanai taking in the beautiful view. The property was quiet and relaxing and the gardens were lush. My children loved snorkeling in the lagoon and seeing all of the fish. It was one of our best family vacations and can't wait to return to this beautiful place.

Our third stay at the Ko Olina Beach Villas and this condo had the best views. If you know anything about the Villas, it is a spectacular resort. All the units have some standardized features, but this one was a step up on the others we've stayed in. Working with the owners was especially smooth. Absolutely no complaints with the rental process. The only minor issues have to do with our two very little kids, with a lack of a crib and pool toys/floaties. No big deal at all for most families. We're already thinking about our next trip.

Everything about our stay at this condo was absolutely wonderful! We came for Spring Break with our two young children (5 and 7). The lagoons were ideal for them, and they loved the pools as well. We ate every meal on the lanai and slept soundly every night. Quiet and family friendly -- a truly perfect vacation for us.
