Funky Palms, decorated in Old Florida memorabilia, our bright and sunny Indian Pass beach house is located about 50 yards from the beach and has great unobstructed Gulf Views. There is a large screened porch across the south side that always enjoys a soft Gulf breeze. There are decks on either side of the screened porch that provide for excellent sunbathing spots.
Funky Palms offers high speed internet access and free long distance. Funky Palms sleeps eight, with 2 large king rooms - each enjoying private porches - plus one full room. In addition, there is a large Florida room with twin beds plus a large play area for kids. There are two full baths, one upstairs and one down.
The living, dining and kitchen areas are open and provide terrific space for a family gathering. The living area is equipped with a large TV including DVD plus a stereo including CD player. The kitchen is well equipped, including all new appliances.
Funky Palms is great for kids and pets
Funky Palms has plenty of parking for your boat and is only about a mile from the public boat ramp located directly across from St. Vincent Island.
The Indian Pass area is ideally suited to those that love the outdoors. St. Vincent Island is a 15,000 acre National wildlife preserve that has no residents and can be visited during the day for exploring and picnics. You’ll see all kinds of wildlife including bald eagles that nest on the island. The fishing is some of the best in Florida, oyster beds are abundant, and seasonal scalloping is a favorite activity of many visitors.

Why the Owner Chose Indian Pass
We fell in love with Indian Pass immediately because of its charm and quaintness and laid back living . You feel like you are stepping back in time in this very private beach community. The beach is covered with shells, the fishing is awesome and the swimming is great. Our dogs love the beach as well and Indian Pass beach is great for dogs and dog lovers.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The Funky Palms is great for families. Our family has its reunion every year here. the house has plenty of room for privacy and get togethers. Lots of screen porches allow you to feel the breezes and give you great views of the beach

We have had the pleasure staying at Funky Palms twice. It is a comfortable "old Florida" house. Close to the beach with great views of the water. You can hear the surf when the windows are open. The house is located in a quiet subdivision. We enjoyed shelling on the beach, riding bicycles to the boat ramp and just relaxing. The owners were helpful if any issues arose. Excellent dining options in Apalachicola and Port St Joe. The Indian Pass Raw Bar is within 5 miles.
