We instantly fell in love with the city of Bainbridge Island. The island is far enough to feel as though you escaped the hectic life and stresses of the city but close enough to appreciate Seattle's city lights just across the waters of Puget Sound.
The Unique Benefits at this House
My entire family enjoy the quietness as much as the bakery/cafes, boutiques, art galleries and the one and only Mora Ice Creamery just a couple miles from the home. Simply staying at the home is a joy, the spacious enclosed deck is much loved by my grandchildren and the activity of cruise ships, cargo ships, sail boats, ferries that pass through the water daily is a sight to see, not to mention just the view of the water and Seattle's city lights all around the home! We love to make s'mores in our see-through fireplace from both sides of the dining area/kitchen and living room and also take the time to go into town to enjoy great artisan coffee and rustic baked goods.
The best ice cream shop on the island. Made fresh right on Bainbridge. Unique flavors made with real fruit and also all the favorites.
