This hand scribed, full log home is the ultimate great escape. The cabin is tucked away on a pennisula boarded on one side by 1200' of frontage on the Chippewa River and a beaver pond on the other side. The lodge is set in the middle of 60 acres of nature and abundant wildlife, with the only access down a private road. This great outdoor retreat is very conveniently located, just 15 minutes from Birchwood, 40 minutes from the Hayward area.
Beaver Point Lodge, a 3400 sq. ft. log home is tastefully decorated with a Northwoods theme and is extremely comfortable. Although it has all the modern conveniences, the home maintains a rustic lodge appearance. The living room contains a massive 2 story river rock fireplace. The master bedroom has a king size log bed with a private bath. The 2nd bedroom has a queen size log bed and the 3rd bedroom has a full size log bed. These two bedrooms share a full bathroom complete with separate shower stall and claw foot tub. There is a large 4th bedroom suite located in the lower level. All Linens and towels are provided.
The open kitchen is complete with granite counter tops, dishwasher, full size fridge/freezer, stove, microwave oven, coffee pot along with all the cooking utensils. The dining room is surrounded on 3 sides with large windows creating a majestic view of nature, the outdoors, the beaver pond and the Chippewa River. Dinnerware and flatware are provided. A large loft overlooks the living room. A great place to relax in the evening with your favorite movie. The loft is complete with futons, chairs, large TV and DVD player. There is plenty of room for everyone.
The lower level completes this great escape with a recreation room, includes a billiards table, darts and also a 1970's juke box. We also have all the favorite board games. The entire family can play and have fun together in the evening or on rainy days.
This is a non-smoking home, no pets allowed. You may smoke outside by the firepit.
You can relax on the covered front porch or the covered gazebo. A canoe is provided at the dock for your enjoyment. A toasty fire in the fire pit complete with chairs overlooking the river makes a great way to end the day. The firepit area contains a charcoal and a gas grill.

We spent a fantastic long weekend at this property. It is a quiet, peaceful and beautiful location, and the cabin is well equipped with anything you would need. The kitchen is well equipped which we loved since we do all the cooking and actually never left the property once we arrived. The party room has so many fun things to do--pool table, pinball machine, juke box, darts, roulette, and an arcade game. The house is beautifully furnished, super clean and very comfortable. The owners are very easy to work with. Highly recommend this great cabin!

We just returned home from our week in Paradise and are missing it already! The vacation home was beautiful and so clean and well kept. The lawns surrounding the area are also well maintained. Coming down the drive to the house, it just has "peaceful relaxation" written all over it! My husband, myself and our 13 yr old daughter enjoyed hanging out at the house, playing pool, some pinball, watching TV together in the comfortable loft.....just having great family time. Evenings were by the firepit and watching the river flow by. We also enjoyed visiting some of the towns in the area and even made it up to Lake Superior to take a boat ride around the Apostle Islands. There was plenty to do in the area and so nice to come "home" and relax in the evening. We are already planning a return trip. Thanks so much for everything Debbie....especially sharing your beautiful home.

Stayed here Memorial Day 2011. Cabin is beautiful. Home owners are friendly, easy to work with and very accomodating. Grounds are maintained very well. Very comfortable. Ample Firewood for us and fireplace works great, makes whole cabin toasty. Plenty of pots and pans- kitchen is well appointed. Love having a dishwater for a vacation, easy clean-up. Would be great for autumn or winter rental as well. Don't second guess this location, it's a winner!

My husband & I wanted to take our daughter and her fiance on a snowmobiling trip after Christmas. We live in WI and they live in Minneapolis, so it seemed to be the perfect distance for both of us. We felt so at ease with Debbie, before we even met her, and she made the process so easy for us. When people say it has everything you need, they are RIGHT! It was so cute and cozy and even better than the pictures convey. We had the time of our life there and WILL be going back. I think next time we will go in the summer, but will return again in the winter, too! It is phenomenal! So...if you are thinking about a place in this area, make sure THIS is the place you go. You will not regret it!!!

We had a great family vacation at the cabin and hope to come back soon! We overpacked quite a bit, not anticipating how well the cabin would be stocked for our every need. It was a great place to get together with our ever growing family for some R&R. We had a great time canoing down the river, playing croquet, and swimming at a nearby lake. At night we had some pretty intense pinball and pool tournaments. We can't wait for next time! Thanks to Debbie for an excellent stay.

Awesome property!! Debbie and Bruce are wonderful, too. The cabin is well equiped from the kitchen spices, to the shampoo and conditioner in the showers or the great game room downstairs. My son achieved he high score on the pinball machine. There is plenty of room indoors and out. We enjoyed the river everyday whether it was fishing, tubing and canoeing. Then cooking on the grill or over the open fire. We had a great time together as a family before my son leaves for the army, in October. We have decided to make this our desitnation after he graduates from boot camp. For the money, it was much more than expected, awesome is all I can come up with.

Stayed in early June with another couple. We found the cabin to be very beautiful and relaxing. Plenty to do outside in good weather; sunning, fishing, tubing, croquet, relaxing on the deck, cooking with gas or charcoal, and wildlife watching. We saw bears cross at the top of the driveway by the sign and just north of the property while fishing in the river, so if you go hiking, make plenty of noise. During bad weather, there are many things to do in the house, so you don't mind it at all. The kitchen is well stocked, so don't worry if you forget something, and there is all the cooking equipment that you will need. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the main level; no bathrooms downstairs, but it's in the plans for the future. Both bathrooms have a shower, and one also has a separate tub, which is nice and deep. The house is set up very nicely for those with kids, as there is a loft with a TV, and the basement with the game room and library. Very highly recommended for groups of any size or a quiet getaway for a couple.

Paradise is the best way to describe this gem by the river. We had one of the best vacations of our lives and hope to repeat. We caught dozens of very large fish, had numerous relaxing canoe/tube trips, ate plenty of smores at our daily campfire, held a 1st official family pool tournament, and were even able to create stupendour meals in the awesome kitchen. Thanks for sharing your beautiful spacious home with us. We will remember it forever.

It is hard to put into words what a wonderful and beautiful log home this is. The pictures do not do justice. Debbie went out of her way to make our stay comfortable and our time there special. It was very hard to leave that paradise in the woods, but I know we will be back.
