Our home is located on beautiful Little Gasparilla Island. This island is a true tropical paradise. The home is 300 feet from the bay and 300 feet from the beach. Considered the fishing capital of the world, trophy class snook, tarpon, and other game fish are caught from the dock or beach. Scenic tours of the island are available on request. This island can be accessed only by boat. Water taxi is available upon request. The sunsets here are second to none and the natural beauty of this place is something you will never forget.

What a great week we had on Little Gasparilla Island! This cottage is ideally located so that a minute's walk gets you to either the intercoastal side, where the kids had a blast fishing off the dock, or the Gulf, with it's beautiful beach where, if we wern't swimming or fishing, we were walking amidst a wealth of sea shells, picking the best for our collection and straining our eyes in search of the big game the locals prize...shark's teeth! If you take a minute, you can probally find a coconut that'll work in place of a football, as we did, and play nightly games on the beach with the kids. The cottage itself is neat as a pin, has a nice, open layout and boasts a third bedroom at ground level with it's own bath...a great plus if you have friend's or a parent along, as we did. Ben, the owner, is a gracious host who worked with us so as to make the stay possible and the fact that his price is among the most reasonable on the island makes a return trip next year a near certainty.
