Come relax in our vacation condo on the breathtaking beaches of Florida's Gulf Coast. Book a long weekend this fall and your third night is FREE! Okaloosa Island (a few miles from Destin) is a low-rise community with no 'vacation skyscrapers' to box you in. Enjoy white beaches and emerald-blue ocean stretching as far as the eye can see.
You'll also enjoy one of the largest heated beachside pools on the island (Jan.-March)and a hot tub for late-night soaking. And the elevator lobby right off the parking area provides conventient access for arrival and departure.
Our third-floor unit includes a queen sleeper sofa in the living room featuring a new 32" LCD HDTV. A private master bath with double-vanity adjoins the master bedroom furnished with a king mattress set with foam topper for added comfort. An LCD flat panel TV and DVD are in the master as well. The second bedroom--with a Sealey queen mattress set, flat panel LCD TV, DVD and VCR--is next to a separate full bath. The living and dining areas stretch the width of the condo, offering a panoramic ocean view. If work requires, check e-mail with our wireless broadband on the extra-wide balcony as you listen to the soothing ocean waves.
On-site property management by ResortQuest ensures a trouble-free stay with no rental surprises. They also can make arrangements for a discounted round of golf at a number of nearby clubs. You even receive the use of two beach chairs with umbrella during your stay (beach service in season) and FREE DVD 'rentals' with our card-swipe vending kiosk located in the lobby!

We came to the Gulf Coast on family vacations for years, but had never been on Okaloosa Island near Fort Walton Beach until looking for property in the Destin area. We all immediatley fell in love with this lovely, uncluttered, low-key strip of sandy paradise.

Islander Beach Condo #3009 is owned by two sisters and their respective husbands. We all share a love for the beach and ocean, but with the kids' school and sports conflicts, we don't get down to the beach nearly as often as we'd like. Most years, we're fortunate to fit in two brief beach stays. Part of every trip we make to the condo is spent on maintenance so YOU have a nice place to enjoy during your vacation. So if you see things that need attention (the carpets, for example, are always a challenge to keep nice), please let us know. Thanks!
