We invite you to take a look at our beautifully remodeled oceanview condo in Kihei Akahi. The condo has just undergone complete a remodel of the kitchen and bathroom. The bedroom has a new (2009) KING sized bed and the sofa in the living room can be folded out for additional sleeping accommodations. The new kitchen as shown in the images below feature granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and new cabinets. Dishes and utensils are provided should you want to stop by the nearby health food store and cook for yourself, however there are a number of great restaurants within walking distance as well.
The view from the lanai show off the property's lush grounds, which include palm, mango, avocado and plumeria trees among many other tropical plants. Beyond the gardens you can see the bright blue ocean off of Kamaole Beach Park II which is located directly across the street. This beach park is well-known for its excellent swimming, snorkeling, bodysurfing, and other beach activities. For those who prefer to stay out of the ocean there are also two cool pools provided for guests of Kihei Akahi.
Tennis courts and BBQs are also found on the property, in addition to ample free parking. Shops and restaurants are just minutes away from your doorstep, and if you prefer more upscale shopping, the Shops at Wailea are a only a 5 minute car ride away.

We loved the spot and the location so close to at the beach. Te condo was very clean and had everything we need. The view was spectacular and watching the sunsets from the deck or the beach were wonderful. We would stay there again. We love Maui! We saw lots of turtles and went on the Molokini trip with the Maui dive shop and have been very impressed by there service again, as we did last time. A dream vacation since our honeymoon there 19 yes ago. The owner responded to our emails very promptly.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.

Stayed in your condo the week of 8/28-9/4/09. I know this review is late but what prompted me to write it was that I was looking into renting it again. That tells you that I would stay here again. It is a lovely condo with all the amenities. The king bed was very comfortable. I like to stay in Kihei when I stay on Maui - less crowded then Kanapali and also close to Wailaia. This condo is right across the street to a great beach,next door to a fun bar, down the street from the grocery store, and just minutes away from the golf courses. You could pay a lot more, but why??? Dealing with the owners was very easy too. Good communication. Thank you for sharing your home with me.
