Welcome to our sunny paradise in popular south Maui at the Kihei Akahi Resort! Experience for yourself why our beautiful landscaped property, with ocean, island, and volcano views, attracts repeat visitors year after year. I continue to consider it a home away from home for me.
Kihei Akahi, one of Kihei's favorite vacation resort complexes, is on six and a half acres of beautiful lush tropical grounds, with two great swimming pools, 4 large gas BBQ's, and a tennis court. For your convenience, there is an Activity Reservation Center, property office, and book library on the premises. This area has some of the least amounts of rain fall per year, and some of the most sun!
This beautiful unit (C507) is located on the 5th floor of building C, with a reserved nearby parking place. From the 5th floor lanai, take in spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean, Haleakala, Kahoolawe Island, tropical garden smells, local bird sounds, and the glowing sunset skies. Experience the annual migration of the humpback whales and their young close to shore, in season. From our entrance, you can view the northern portion of Haleakala and the West Maui Mountains.
This one bedroom, one bath condo, with private tiled lanai, is beautifully decorated in an island style, and is very clean and comfortable. Sleeps two to four with a queen-size bed in the bedroom and a full-size sofa bed in the living room. Tiled entry, bath, kitchen and Lanai, with Berber carpet in the bedroom and living and dining areas. Fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher, coffee maker, and microwave. There is a washer and dryer in the unit for your convenience. Other amenities include cable TV, internet access, beach backpack chairs and other beach items, adjustible ceiling fans in the living room and the bedroom, and custom adjustable track lighting in the hallways and the living/dining room areas.
Directly across the street from the Kihei Akahi Resort is one of Maui’s best beach parks, Kamaole Beach Park II. The sand is lite and fine like powder, and the beautiful Pacific blue is inviting all year round. Enjoy your days relaxing on the beach with amenities such as picnic tables, restrooms, lifeguards, shade and showers, or partake in the many water activities such as snorkeling, whale watching, scuba diving, body surfing, boogie boarding, and more.
If golf is your game, then you will be in an area of a number of fantastic courses with beautiful views, all within in a short drive.
End your day in paradise with either a stroll to the beach to enjoy the sunset, or try our conch shell to signal the sunset from the lanai. Then...the evening begins.
There is a lot to do and all within walking distance or a very short driving distance: great shopping at malls and specialty shops, stores, restaurants, and live entertainment.
The island of Maui has much to offer, experience the creative and soothing magic for yourself, and enjoy your stay in paradise.
