This is truly a Country Home (Casa de Campo), in the Luxurious
and world reknowned Casa de Campo Resort. The master bedroom has a King size bed,two night tables with gorgeous lamps, dresser, TV and desk. The bathroom and vanity are inside the suite. You can lock your door for privacy, and turn on your air conditioning for the break of the heat while watching your favorite program on TV. The other bedroom, has two twin beds, with their private bathroom, TV and its own air conditioning. The two twin beds can be turned into a full bed. All rooms have Ocean view.
There is also an enclosed porch, which can be opened to receive
the Caribbean breeze. A gorgeous living room and a more formal eating area surrounded by palm trees. Why Pay More? A ROOM IN THE HOTEL IS MORE COSTLY than renting this whole House. Would like to have more than 4 persons stay in the Villa, guess what? There is always room for more..the hotel rents extra beds.
POOL? No problem, just less than one block is one of the pools.
TENNIS? No problem, less than one block away, are the Clay tennis courts.
GOLF? Well, there are 3 world known golf courses one of is the

FOOD ? No problem there are several restaurants to choose from,
and at various prices, your pick. Pizza is also delivered and
food can be catered. Meal packages are also offered by the hotel
at a reduced rate. Many options for dining.If you prefer you can also cook your meals in the villa/or have someone cook them for you. You may purchase the food at the supermarket in the resort. A maid? a cook? This can also be arranged for a small cost.
When you come to Casa de Campo, you are in luxury. There are various tours offered by the resort, which will show you the homes of celebrities...one such being Sammy Sosa's among others. For details call 1-809-523-8107.
Wish to visit the Casino? Well, a great casino opened up about a year ago and it is approximately 1/2 hour distance from Casa de Campo, there are restaurants there as well, for your wins or losses.
Tours around the area are provided by the resort, of course you need to make your own arrangements. The City of Santo Domingo, offers tourists a lot of history as the First Cathedral of the New World was built here as well as the first University. You can also visit Diego Colon's, Columbus' son's castle, which is kept to that date and find yourself surrounded by that era. Punta Cana is about 1-1/2 hours from Casa de Campo the same as the city and approx. an hour's drive to the major airport. However, if you wish to arrive soon to your vacation destination, there is the La Romana airport, approximately 20 minutes away.

I feel pampered as I arrive and everything is ready for me. Safety, I don't have to worry about walking around, driving a golf cart. Excellent Villa - Just as advertised

The villa is exactly as advertised. Spacious with all amenities described. We flew into Santo Domingo, and the owner, Maria, helped arrange a driver. Drive time about 90 min. We had the driver stop in La Romana at Jumbo for groceries. We flew out of La Romana - that is much easier and I would recommend travelling through that airport. We stayed in the villa for 7 nights. The resort is HUGE. Maria also arranged a golf cart for us - thank goodness, as getting around by foot would take quite a while. The hotel, beach and marina were all about 10 min by golf cart. The resort is fantastic, the golf superb, we enjoyed the beach and the hotel pool as well - and the pool at the tennis centre was good too - even have a bartender there. Only a 2 min walk from the villa. In all a great vacation - really topped off by the villa owner. Maria was extremely helpful and easy to deal with. I have used VRBO for many other vacations, and this was just another great experience. You can't go wrong staying in this villa.

The property owner is an absolute pleasure to work with. She made everything very easy for me. . This is a two bedroom, two bath villa near the tennis area of Casa de Campo (which is a HUGE resort, by the way). It's very nice and comfortable. I was even able to get WiFi by renting a modem at the owner's club. I flew in to Punta Cana and drove myself to Casa de Campo. I do NOT recommend this approach - it's a long drive and the signage is not very good. Fly in to La Romana if possible. If you can't fly to La Romana airport, and you come to Santo Domingo or Punta Cana, have someone drive you. Casa de Camp is an amazing place - nice beach, great hotel and spa. If you are a golfer, you'll love it.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, families with young children, romantic getaway, tourists without a car.

"We stayed in the Villa for about a week in Easter. I think that what attracted me the most at first was that the description said “secluded in nature”. I thought “that’s me”. I did not need a luxurious 10 rooms villa, just a little corner surrounded by nature would be fine. No noise, neighbours were really nice. Although we did not get to see much of them, i know at least one of them collected the toys he saw by his house and approached my little nephew the next morning “i think this must be yours”. The kids had a wonderful time as well. Now they are always asking to come back. The owner also makes you feel really welcome, like part of the family. I will definitely come back. "

First and foremost, Maria was one of the most accommodating, helpful and kind owners i have ever dealt with. She went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. The villa was very comfortable as can be seen in the attached pictures. The amenities were of good quality and great taste. It didn't feel like some on picked up an IKEA catalog and let loose. The villa had been meticulously cleaned prior to our arrival and fresh filtered water put in the refrigerator. Casa de Campo is an above average resort with the typical amenities one would expect. We found the beach to be very comfortable and highly recommend the pizza at the beach-side restaurant. The only downside being the expanse of the resort which meant a lot of time in the car getting from one place to another. Overall our stay was excellent and i cannot stress enough how helpful Maria was with everything.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
