Palmetto Dunes was ranked #1 in the world for family vacations in 2003 by "Travel & Leisure Magazine". The beach is a short walk over a romantic bridge that spans a fresh water lagoon. At the end of the cul-de-sac is the first tee of the Fazio Golf course.
Palmetto Dunes amenities are among the finest on Hilton Head Island. Palmetto Dunes Outfitters, a two-minute drive away, offers bicycles for rent as well as fishing gear, canoes, and kayaks for those wanting to explore Palmetto Dunes’ 11-mile lagoon. Just a short bike or car ride away is Shelter Cove Marina and its extraordinary Mediterranean-style marketplace. Shelter Cove presents a spectacular fireworks display over the marina every Tuesday night during the summer months.
The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, place settings waffle iron, pancake grill,crock pots,wine and beverage glasses and much more.
The five bedrooms are arranged perfectly for a multi-family or that eight-person golf vacation. The kitchen area opens up to the living/dining area and is very spacious. An eat-in bar area with four bar stools lines the kitchen. There are two dining tables with 12 chairs. The master bedroom is on the first floor, with four guest bedrooms on the second floor. The master bedroom has a king bed, TV/VCR, private bathroom with double sinks, and jetted tub. All the guest bedrooms are equipped with cable TV. One bedroom has two twin beds, and shares a bathroom with the second bedroom, which has two double beds. The third bedroom has one king bed with full bath. The forth bedroom has two double beds and a full bath.
