Spacious outdoor decks on either side of the home allow for basking in the warmth of the morning sunshine, as well as experiencing the breathtaking sunsets over the lake. Located 3 mi north of Elk Rapids, in Kewadin, this home offers something for everyone in the family to delight in.
Enjoying the private, sandy beach and sandy lake bottom with 100 feet of frontage on beautiful Birch Lake you will also discover good fishing, great swimming, a movable raft, paddle boat and kayak. Picnic tables, charcoal grill, fire pit, hammock and a 48' x 19' deck surrounded by mature, shade trees create the perfect vacation getaway.
Make yourselves at home in the open floor plan which includes skylights above the kitchen island, a dining area, and living space with satellite, 42" flat screen HDTV/DVD/VCR and stereo. The home features 2 sliding glass doors leading out to the deck from the living room and master bedroom. * The 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath home sleeps up to 8 people. The laundry room with washer and dryer are on the main floor. We use only non-toxic, earth friendly products in our home.
Adventure the surrounding area of Kewadin, which provides 6 tennis courts, basketball and volleyball courts, only 1.5 miles away, as well as easy access to Torch Lake, Elk Lake, and Lake Michigan. Delightful and charming, the village of Elk Rapids offers shops, restaurants, beaches, and much more.
*If extra room is needed, we offer a Bunkhouse above the garage that can accommodate up to 7 people.
