Why the Owner Chose Magnolia Cottages by the Sea
Growing up in Tallahassee, Florida, we've both vacationed in this area over the course of our lives. Bill visited this area, but actually grew up in a family beach home at Alligator Point. I, on the other hand, grew up visiting mostly Seagrove,Panama City Beach, and Mexico Beach, as it was the area my parents grew up going to the beach. The Panhandle of Florida truly has the most beautiful beaches in the world as I have visited many. Bill and I enjoy running over from Tallahassee to spend long weekends, and I spend spring breaks with my children. It is so much fun to bike and people watch in the area, visit fine stores and restaurants. It's just a wonderful and different escape for us.
The Unique Benefits at this House
This quiet, upscale community has more benefits than a hotel and easy access to shopping, dining, and beach fun. Some of our favorite places to visit while in Seacrest Beach are Pier Park, a mere 12 minute drive to a new upscale outdoor shopping mall; the Destin outlet malls; Destin Commons (another outdoor shopping mall); the Seaside and Grayton Beach shops. There are local mariner museums and St. Andrews State Park is one of the most beautiful beach parks in the world that Bill and I have grown up visiting.

My family and I just stayed a week at the Beach Bungalow, and the experience was wonderful! The house is everything you could ask for in a beach home away from home. The pool is only 2 houses away and very nice. The screened front porch was great in the mornings and late afternoons. The gulf beach is just across the road and down some steps. It was a great place for a family vacation! We hope to rent it again. Thank you to the owners. 6/28/2011

The owner was so nice and easy to work with. The beach home was very clean and cozy. All the ammenities were over the top. We could walk to the pool or beach but have our privacy at the house. There was a balcony on the second floor attached to the master and the king bed was super comfy!! High end all the way!! We only wish we could have stayed longer. We will definately be coming back year after year. L. Stewart
