Keywords: Cabin
A beautiful mountain retreat nestled in the mountains near Robert Redford's Sundance year round resort. This cabin is surrounded by legacy Douglas Fir pine trees, such that you feel like you are in a tree house. The cabin is also immersed in a spectacular view of the back side of majestic Mount Timpanagos, and has a magnificent view of Stewart Falls. This four-story, 3500 ft2 cabin with its unique architecture is constructed of reclaimed beams and barn wood with wood floors for a rustic ambiance reminiscent of a more simple life.
The cabin is complete with cards, board games, CD and DVD libraries, and books. The kitchen is supplied with all the condiments, spices, basic staples, and cooking supplies you would find in your own kitchen. We also provide the basic toileties (soaps, shampoo, conditioner) paper goods, laundry detergent, and dishwasher soap you will need. Essentially the cabin is supplied with everything you would find in your own home. All you need to bring is your favorite foods and recipes, and we can even get those for you for a small additional fee.
The cabin has a great sitting area surrounded by large picture windows which provide an enriching view of the surrounding landscape. The sitting area has a wood fireplace which provides a great setting for relaxing with friends or watching a movie on a wall mounted flat panel TV.
The master suite has a unique copper tub that is perfect for relaxing by yourself or with friends after a day on the slopes or mountain biking on the miles of trails surrounding Sundance. The home has two separate full kitchens, and the lower level can be used as a separate living area.
There is a separate building which provides a great play house for children and teenagers. It has an indoor circular slide, a foosball table, a basketball arcade game, a TV and DVD player for movies and video games, and a variety of games and play sets for younger children. It is a great place for the children and teenagers to be entertained while the adults relax in the main cabin.
Sundance ski resort provides year round activities including downhill and cross country skiing, mountain biking, horseback riding, fine dining (Tree Room, Grill Room, Owl Bar), the Sundance Film Festival, Spa at Sundance, Sundance Nature Center, concerts, outdoor theater, a speaker series, and a variety of other activities. You can even walk to the ski hill if you prefer!!
Whether you want to enjoy the abundance of outdoor activities at the world class Sundance resort and the surrounding area or just relax in the peaceful beauty of this mountain setting, this cabin will provide a great getaway that you will remember for years to come.

Breathtaking Views of Stewart Falls, Playhouse/Indoor Slide
Year Purchased: 2005
Why the Owner Chose Sundance
It has always been Scott's dream to have a cabin at Sundance ever since first experiencing the area while attending nearby Brigham Young University. The drive up Provo Canyon to the Sundance area is beautiful, and once you arrive the serenity and beauty of the area makes you feel as if you are in a different world.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin
We love going up to Sundance to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, and relax in the shadows of the beautiful pine trees that surround our cabin. There is a great peace that comes from sitting on the deck in the shadow of Mt. Timpanogos, which dominates the view from the deck. After dinner, we love to make the short hike along the nearby stream up to beautiful Stewart Falls. We love sharing our cabin with others, and want to do everything possible to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We even offer a concierge-type service, which includes scheduling activities, shopping services, etc.
Owner's Map of Sundance
Scott and Carol live in nearby Orem, where they have lived for the last 14 years. They have been happily married for 30 years, and their children and grandchildren are their greatest joy in life. They enjoy the short trip up Provo Canyon to the beautiful Sundance area.

We loved this place! The carpet was soft, the mattresses were amazing, and even though our family is older than most, the playhouse was a nice touch. The view was enjoyable, the decks were relaxing. The master bedroom's shower was very unique. We would definitely recommend this cabin to friends or relatives. Thanks!

This is our 3rd visit to Copper Hill in 3 years. We spent our 1st Christmas away from home here with kids, son-in-laws, and grandkids. What a wonderful time we have had! When we arrived Scott and Carol had come and put up a Christmas tree!! What a special treat. We love your cabin - love every quirk about it! Love the antiques, the design, the kid-friendly toys and the DVDs, the comfy beds. Thanks for sharing and we'll see you next year!
