The condominium is located in a middle-class, vibrant Istanbul neighborhood populated by professionals, retired people, children, teenagers, artists and homemakers. Being on the 10th floor, it is quiet.
It is about 20-30 minutes to the airport and Old Istanbul by cab, depending on traffic. Very picturesque areas nearby like Bebek & Arnavutkoy along the Bosphorus have an abundance of exquisite fresh seafood restaurants, and also provide shopping, fishing and people-watching opportunities. They are about 10 minutes by cab, and for the adventurer - within downhill walking distance on steep, narrow, cobblestoned streets .
The Artists' Park around the corner serves coffee, tea and Sunday brunch. The bakery across the street is open at 7 am with take-out pastries fresh from the oven, for a relaxed breakfast at home.
The building is secure, accessible only to residents. Metered taxicabs are right around the entrance and take people expertly along ancient and modern streets of Istanbul anywhere in the city with reasonable fares. Award winning shopping centers, restaurants, cafes, bakeries, barbers, banks, bookstores and newspaper stands, are within a short walking distance.

Why the Owner Chose Istanbul
I was lucky to inherit this condo in one of the most desirable residential locations in Istanbul.
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
I enjoy the proximity to the Bosphorus and the freeways, the place being full of light and open to a 180 degree view of the area including the Asian shores. The grocer, barber, bank, restaurants, baker, newsstand, drycleaner, taxicabs are all within easy walking distance and they deliver right to the door. In the morning, while the tea is brewing, I like to go across the street to the bakery for warm boereks and pastries right out of the oven. I also appreciate the security of the building, the neighbors and the two supers who are ready to help at a moment's notice.
The high-rise is called Nilufer apt. within the Bahar Sitesi complex. It is on the main road, Zeytinoglu caddesi that is the street across from Akmerkez Shopping Center, very close to Etiler.

My name is Oya. I am a small business owner and my husband is a university physics professor. We have 3 grandchildren. I was born, raised and spent a good part of my life in Istanbul, moved to the USA in 1982, but go back at least once a year. A few years ago, I inherited the condo from my parents and undertook a complete renovation project. The condo is used by my family and friends during visits to Istanbul. When vacant, I rent it on a short-term basis.
