Pacific Surf House is located 300 ft up on an 11 acre private lot in the gated community of Rancho Santana. It provides our guests with an incredible view of the Santana break as well as the rest of the Pacific. This beautiful two bedroom/ one and a half bath villa awaits your arrival. Here you are completely surrounded by nature and have easy access to all the best surf breaks,restaurants,tennis courts,and miles of unspoiled beaches,and did i say uncrowed surf breaks.
Pacific Surf House has all the amenities to make sure your vacation is memorable!Daily maid service, professional massage table that stays at the house and upon advanced request ,massages are available right in the comfort of your own home! The massages last 1 hour at $35 per massage. The house has 3 remote controlled ACs, although at night the cool breezes paired with the ceiling fans are enough to keep the rooms cool, since the house was designed to take advantage of the tropical breezes. Guests also have the benefit of being sung to sleep by nature and the crashing waves. Guests will be able to stay in touch with the outside world via wireless internet and free long distance calls to the US, Canada and Puerto Rico. The kitchen, equipped with granite countertops and wood cabinetry, opens up to an outside bar which over looks the infinity edge pool and the Pacific Ocean. Everything you will need is included, including a coffee maker with a built in grinder.Toater oven,blender,ect. We have Glades who comes 6 days a week,she will provide daily maid service,laundry,pool and yard care and any other needs you might have,she will take care of you!
The living room has a 31" TV, DVD player, and like the rest of the house, has AC and ceiling fans. The master bedroom, which can be opened at night to enjoy the cool breezes, has a pillow top queen bed with a frame, handcrafted by a local artist, and vaulted ceilings. Each bedroom has AC and a ceiling fan to ensure your comfort. The guest bedroom has two single beds that are hand crafted also. Both bedrooms have granite top sinks for added comfort and ease of living. All rooms provide an elevated view of the waves rolling in from the Pacific.
As a guest of Pacific Surf House you will be entitled to all the amenities of Rancho Santana such as two clubhouses with pools that over look the ocean, a restaurant, a bar, lighted tennis courts, a gym, and horse back riding.And of miles and miles of unspoiled beaches for you and your family to explore. My girlfriend and I spent 5 fantastic days in Nica. Luckily, Roger and Karen were in Managua when we flew in so they were kind enough to meet us at the airport and lead us to the Pacific Surf House. First off, depending upon the season and the weather, I recommend a 4x4. We rented a sedan and made it there no problem but some of the stream crossings in the last 20km were dodgy in a sedan. Plus, the signage and infrastructure is not the easiest to navigate so be prepared. Anyhow, we arrived at 9PM that night and Roger showed us around and got us situated. We woke up to a breathtaking view of the pacific and explored the house and the area which is absolutely amazing plus the infinity pool overlooking the pacific is AWESOME. Rancho Santana has great amenities (pools, a restaurant, a bar, tennis courts etc) but I highly recommend exploring the restaurants outside of the community. Roger has plenty of great restaurant suggestions so definitely pick his brain. Most importantly and the reason folks come to Nica is the surf breaks. There are so many options and there is always a solid break. I highly recommend vacationing at the Pacific Surf House. We had a terrific time and we hope to come back soon. When driving from Managua, I do recommend stocking up on food and beverages in the city because once you're there, you don't want to venture back out to the little towns. Lastly, Roger and Karen are great people and we really enjoyed getting to know them and having them show us around. Go folks, you won't be disappointed!

Roger's rental home exceeded our expectations, making our first time visit to Nicaragua an amazing experience. The photgraphs accurately depict the home but fall-short of how amazing is actually is. Located 3 hours away from Managua within the safety of Rancho Santana, the house is set atop a hillside overlooking Playa Santana, slightly isolating itself from the other nearby homes as well the clubhouse, providing a non-tourist, home-like feeling. The house accomodates all one's needs including aesthetics, and is equipped with an amazing infinity pool that we found necessary to use daily. It's location provides easy-access to Playa Santana, Panga Drops, Playa Rosada, and a (short) trip to Playa Popoyo providing all the surf you can handle whether novice or advanced. If Roger is in the Country you will have the pleasure of meeting him, and if you're lucky, hanging out with him also. He is the king of all hosts, providing our 4 person group with the inside-scoop to the area, as well as joining us on certain occasions. The bottomline is we cannot say enough good things about the Pacific Surf House and we highly recommend it for adventure travelers, romantic getaways, and families. We just came back from the Pacific Surf House and would HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone! My wife and I have stayed at many VRBO's across the world, and this was definitely one of our best experiences. The house itself was very clean and had everything you can ask for. The views at this house are Absolutely amazing! After a day at the beach, or a day exploring, it was so special to come and unwind and watch the sunset from the pool. Roger, the owner, went out of his way to make sure we all had a good time. Wether it was helping us arrange a surf/fishing trip to getting a massage, he made sure it happened! We will definitely be back and would highly suggest you book this rental! Do it. JT

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the house. We found it very comfortable and clean. The amenities such as the BBQ and kitchen were very helpful in our stay which made us feel at home. The infinity pool is the major focal point of the house. Spending evenings watching surreal sunsets was amazing. We felt very secure due to the staff who verifies everyone at the front gates and the club house was also an added bonus! After the reviewing other properties in person, we feel Rogers' vacation home was by far the best for the top 6 reasons... 1. Location: Rancho Santana has the most amenties in the Tola region and is a central point 2. Food: Rancho Santana has an awesome dishes at reasonable prices 3. View: Best view on the hill of beach, valley, and sunsets 4. Access: To all surf breaks 5. Safety: 24 hour security 6. Just as advertised, this house and setup were wonderful. During our two-day stay, we had easy access (4WD, of course) to several great surf breaks and the hotel lobbies/restaurants at Rancho Santana and Playa Rosada. The housekeeper was very friendly, and the house was in great shape. I'd highly recommend this house to anyone venturing into the area for surf and relaxation. Thanks, RD!

Great house in a great location with all the amenities needed for a great vacation! Gladys and her husband are awesome and keep the place clean and the landscape pristine. Roger and Karen are knowledgeable hosts with a wealth of local info and recommendations. Rancho Santana is a great base, but definitely get out and see the local scene and sites outside the gates. Can't wait to return!

To say that my stay at the Pacific Surf House was amazing, would be an understatement. Typically the photos of a hotel or vacation rental represent an inflated view of the place. Not the PSH, everything is better in person. The views are better, the house is better, the pool is better (everything is better in person). I've stayed in hotels and vacation rentals all over the world, and this is the first to exceed my expectations. It's so reasonably priced, and centrally located I'd have a hard time staying anywhere else on my next trip to Nicaragua. The house is exceptionally clean and well-maintained and you really feel safe inside the confines of Rancho Santana. Also use of both clubhouses and easy access to some of the best waves Nicaragua has to offer really put the PSH over the top. The owner is a great resource. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome and answer any questions we had. Nica hospitality blows southern hospitality away. Among the incredible waves and conditions there are some great restaurants nearby. Try Yolanda's and Las Tortugas and you'll be please with price and quality of food. The restaurant at the clubhouse is good but pricier than the places outside Rancho Santana. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone planning on traveling to Nicaragua.

This house is awesome and the location at Rancho Santana can not be beat. This house is especially perfect for a group of surfers that want to bring the girls along too. I traveled with a group of 6 (3 surfers and 3 non surfers) and everyone was stoked beyond belief. The pool at the house is always clean, the staff at the house is awesome and Roger will take care of you and make your Nicaragua experience unforgettable. The wave right out front at Rancho Sanatana is fun too. Overall 10 out of 10 I would strongly recommend the Pacific Surf House to anyone heading to Nicaragua. Staying here is a much better value than the surf camps and it will make your girls happy too

We stayed at Pacific Surf House for 8 days in November, our first trip to Nicaragua. The house was perfect: an amazing view, great pool, and the complimentary Howler Monkey wake up calls! Our trip was a combination relax and surf vacation. The property offers easy access to terrific surfing with Santanas at the bottom of the hill and Panga Drops and Colorados just a few minutes drive away from within Rancho Santana. We had most of our meals at the house which has a bbq and modern kitchen with full sized appliances. The Rancho Santana restaurant at the bottom of the hill is very affordable and has great breakfast. Our stay was over Thanksgiving and we enjoyed a traditional holiday meal with music and other guests for only $25. Be sure and take advantage of the horseback riding and sport fishing. We caught tuna, wahoo and amber jack while enjoying a scenic tour of the coast. The trip and the house exceeded our expectations. We'll be back to the Pacific Surf House again in 2011.
