Matlacha lies between busy Cape Coral/ Fort Myers Florida, and the sleepy old Florida- Pine Island. It has become well known for wonderful art galleries, fishing and fun music festivals. Local pubs serve great grouper sandwiches with cold beer/ margaritas. There is always something happening! Great walking village, you really don't need a car to shop, eat out,make new friends at the local coffee shop.Modern highways connect to Fort Myers airport (RSW) only a 40 min drive away.
The house is new, spotlessly clean, and comfortable.High ceilings wood floors, granite counter topss, big sliding glass doors to the big bay. Wonderful breezes and sunsets. The furniture is clean and comfortable. Beds have high quality mattresses and linens.
There is a heated salt water pool with benches to sit and watch the fish jump , as well as an attached spa. Fun antique bar, pool furniture, herb gardes and pavered deck.
When renting a house you can get a mixed bag of options. This one will not dissapoint you.
