Owned by a Milan based interior designer of five star luxury hotels throughout Europe, no cost has been spared on the classic modern furniture and accessories, which provide a pleasing contrast to the historic detailing throughout this fully renovated and air-conditioned apartment. The living and dining room features vintage French movie posters and contemporary artwork by leading Argentine artists. Wonderful apartment

My wife and I spend a month, March, 2011, in this apartment. It was ideal for us and I recommend it very highly. Its a large apartment, beautifully furnished, and well appointed -- it is lived in by the owner sometimes, so it has all the extras you might want -- kitchen appliances, dvd, cd players, air conditioning, etc. Its very aesthetic -- really quite a beautiful apartment, wonderful furniture, pix on the walls, etc.... The location is 2 or 3 blocks from the hotel alvear and a block further to the recoleta park facing the cemetary with all the restaurants. Libertador is a very noisy street but the apartment is soundproofed so you hear almost nothing from the street at all, as long as the windows are closed. Marcela Altuna, the realtor who manages the apartment, is lovely and completely solicitous of any requests we had. We would not hesitate to rent again.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children.

Many thanks to Marcela, house manager. The place is better than what is represented on this site. Location was perfect for our needs and the apartment is well appointed with everything you would want in your own home. There's a US house phone number (calls are free to any US phone) and a local cell phone for your use to make local calls in Ba. You can walk to many of the "top" restaurants in Recoleta and sights. Will definitely be staying at this apartment on the next visit and have recommended the place to friends and family.
